Could you help me please?
I've got the "Command Failed" error in Asus Device Tracker + "Unknown error" in Asus Unlock Tool V8/V7.
It's been two month that I'm in contact with Asus Support.
They told me twice that "it is now fixed; try again and it should work now".
It is still not working.
1 - Do you know a fix for theses errors and can you give it to me?
2 - Could you give me the mail of some Asus HQ engineer or similar so they can REALLY update their database?
Up!
Any help please?
Problem Solved Today!
After 4 months of struggling with Asus Support they did the necessary!
My tablet is now unlocked!
I will put Katkiss on it and hopefully gite a second life!
If you got the same problem just ask Asus support again and again to do the necessary.
CAUTION : I did never mention to Asus that I wanted to unlock.
I talked only about the "Asus Device Tracker".
Fixing the Asus Device Tracker fixed the Unlock Problem.

I tried using the method in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1185104
Several questions:
I'm in the US and the box said Android US ... updated to build 8.6.5.9 Honeycomb 3.2
Does this mean I should use the US (8.6.5.9) v6.3 rootkit? What do TW, TB, and WW refer to? The box lists the letters WW after the wifi info... do I have WW or US?
I see people refer to B60, B70 sometimes being unable to root... where is this identification? My (Model?/Serial?) number begins with B80 . Does this mean I have model B80?
Regarding the details of my failure... I have the NVIDEA USB drivers installed, and when running the script, I DO confirm ADB is running -- it sees and reports my device. However pressing 1, which is supposed to upload a bootloader and then backup my image fails immediately... the nvflash command fails.
Am I doing something wrong? Do I have a model B80 which is unrootable?
Any help, links or pointers would be greatly appreciated. (BTW, rooting my HTC Incredible was extremely fast and painless... was hoping for a similar experience)
EDIT: Forgot to mention, I have USB debugging turned on
Well, it seems Asus started manufacturing their Transformers with some sort of "lock" beginning with production batches starting with serial N° B70. You claim that yours is B80, so its pretty likely that at this time you can't flash yours until someone comes with a solution.
For updates on this matter check androidroot.mobi site
Or you should follow @DroidRay on twitter
I'm trying to unlock my TF300T's bootloader, but no succes!
Asus' unlock tool just tells me to "please wait" for about 5 minutes and nothing happens. No reboot, nothing.
I also tried to run the tool after a full wipe.
Also downloaded "AsusInstaller.exe - Version V7 - 2012.05.22 update" which is mentioned under unlock tools in this topic but this only installs "Akamai NetSession Interface Console" and I have no clue what to do with that.
I really hope someone has a solution fast, going on holiday tonight :fingers-crossed:
BTW, I do see my serial number in tablet status and build number says: IML74K.WW_epad-9.4.3.29-20120511
I have the tablet for about 2 months now, and I haven't been able to get the JB update either.
EDIT: Got it working now after 25 or so retries!

Hello,
I want to unlock my TF700T. Unfortunately i have "unknow error occurs". I've read that it is quite popular. The ****ty asus service in EU cannot help me with that, but i've read that the device cannot be rooted to be unlocked. So i want to unroot it to unlock it after that. I've found a lot of unrooting methods but all of them need the tablet to be unlocked... I'm fuc****ing tired with that stock **** they gave me and want to install new ROM. PLEASE HELP ME. I BEG YOU. I've lost 10 hours for that.
Also i cannot even use my Stock RCK because the droid is lying dead with exclamation mark on a red triangle and below is "error".
Sorry for my english and looking forward to your answers.
PS.
Asus service changed my motherboard before.

Easy!
Go to the asus website - support. Download the latest firmware for your SKU, unzip and drop it in to the root folder on your internal or external sd. Reboot to the bootloader, choose RCK with volume up and it should set you back to asus stock, unrooted.
Thank You,
I had some problem with MicroSD but finally did it. Now i'm unrooted but still have problem with unlocking. What to do?
Thanks in advance

Keep trying - turn off google double verification if you have it on. Some people had to try many times to unlock before it took.

Good luck with this! I've been using the unlock tool everyday for about 3 months, still not unlocked and Asus won't help me either.
Sure would be nice if someone could find a way to circumvent the Asus unlock tool....there are 100's of us wishing to unlock....
UNLOCKED!!!
Contact ASUS tech (even outside USA and CANADA - i'm from Poland). They will tell you to **** off. Then contact them again and again and again. I've send them 10 e-mails in 4 hour. They call me today in the morning and asked me about MAC address and voilà - i can unlock.
Remember to send them logcat from unlock:
> D/KeyBoxService(10158): === StatusCode: SC_UNAUTHORIZED!
>
> D/KeyBoxService(10158): === OTA BEGIN
>
> E/KeyBoxService(10158): === Connection to wvdrm asus com refused
>
> D/KeyBoxService(10158): === Retry after 600 seconds.
>
> D/KeyBoxService(10158): === OTA END
And send them info that your motherboard was changed and it is ASUS fault that you can't unlock - because your motherboard is probably changed.
If that doesn't help write them that you can't log in "ASUS device tracker" - because you probably can't.
Send a lot of e-mails, call them, yell at them, threat them that they are breaking the law and that will help.
After that - they need only your MAC address and serial number (serial of the device - not the docking station) to fix the problem.
Good luck, i'm going to install my first rom without useless ****
And once again- sry for my english

Picture someone working on your car's engine and narrating every single step he's taking. That's what a logcat does about the processes running in Android.
First grab this nifty tool and install ADB and drivers on your PC: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Once you have ADB working, check out this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1378491

Use that one which i used. I've also found it on internet. It's no matter. But remember to put "http" before wvdrm asus com and "." in spaces. I can't send links on XDA because i'm a new member

Good luck.
PS
TF700T without that stock shi***t is much, much, much better. It is like completely new device. So push that assholes from ASUS and unlock
Is this what I'm trying to get from adb logcat?

Hi all,
I have Asus Memo Pad 10 (ME102a) currently with Android 4.2.2 with kernal version ww_3.11.0.99#1
problem
My tablet was working fine up to last week. I had for some reason delayed updating the system update available from Asus. Recently I went ahead with the system updates and now I am stuck with my wifi not connecting.
My wifi currently scans and detects wifi. When I try to connect to open or secured wifi the signal strength drops and the wifi is not able to connect. I have tried it with different routers as well as tried using static IP. I have tired restarting, factory wipe but no go.
Asus Customer Support
They have told me it is a software issue and i would have to wait for the next update. Asus doesn't know when the next update is coming. They said I would have to sent it to them to downgrade it. The tablet was purchased in the USA and I am currently overseas and trying to get this issue resolved.
So far I have done the following
I have rooted my tablet and have super user access.
I have installed CWM recovery
I have found the original kernal file from Asus UL-K00F-WW-3.9.0.82-user
I can't do the following
I tried installing the original kernal file UL-K00F-WW-3.9.0.82-user but the installation keeps on getting aborted. (I think the loader doesn't allow it install) ---- Do I need to unlock the bootloader if so how??? I have tried to unlock the bootloader but I haven't been able to.
If someone knows any other way to fix this issue please share.
Thanks to all in advance
Hello guys,
I'm new:
In 2013 I bought an ASUS Memo Pad FHD 10 (ME302KL). Although I never really often used it, today while the Corona-crisis I need it for teaching. Therefore I wanted to upgrade the OS (actually Android 4.2.2) because most apps don't work with it anymore. I read a lot in the Internet about this topic (no official OS Asus-Update, installing Custom-Rom, TWRP and unlock bootloader, ... )
I'm completely novice but I wanted to try because I think this tablet is not too old for my wanted usage.
My first problem is to unlock the bootloader (I hope after solving this problem, it's straigt forward (twrp, custom-rom), rooting the device is easy; I already deleted a lot of the damn bloatware some time ago...).
I read about this: There seemed to be an official asus unlock apk some years ago which I found in www and tried. But no chance: unknown network error. I also tried oem fastboot unlock: failed.
Then I phoned the ASUS support some days ago describing the problem that I want to unlock the bootloader. Answer was: device is too old, no support for that in any way (what really made me disappointed because a) it seemed to me that up to ~2018 there still were (inofficial) ways to get it unlocked und/or updated (calling support again and again, make (mac?) adress entry somewhere, asus unlock apk seemed to work mostly, ... ) and b) the problem already seemed to arise in 2014 (just a few month after I bought it completely new) )
So my question: Is there ANY way to update it in 2021 or do I have to give up and just use it as pdf reader or display? (And never buy ASUS products again?). Do you have any experience about that or other advice?
(Does it maybe work without unlocking bootloader although I read that some guys brick it with that?)
I would even accept linux or ubuntu system (possible?), but I want to have more control about it (other devices were too old for me when they got too slow, but this one isn't. It works good except that it is not compatible with most apps..)
Thanks.

Try to research the 3 digit codes for the Ma2yo apk that supposedly updates android versions. I tried it on a 4.2.2 with a three digit code that supposedly updates android to 9.0 pie, but the app told me I entered the wrong code. Im a novice at this as well, but I have managed to use Kingoroot to gain root access to the mentioned tablet and use it as a learning tool myself. Try to use some of the apk root apps until you find one you like that will allow you to build your tablet, if you can't get it to upgrade.Happy hunting, test runs and hopefully success!
For all who have the same problem:
Yesterday I gained the most following this thread:
[HOWTO] Unlock TF700T in 2020
UPDATE: Asus has updated the servers. Older protocols for HTTPS, which are required for older Android versions, are no longer supported. Unfortunately, some additional steps are needed for the unlock now. See this post for step by step...
forum.xda-developers.com
Problem: Device could not be unlocked (after a few minutes waiting and everything working fine up to this point), but another user seemed to unlock the ME302KL this way... :/
Think I finally got it with the link above.
