One day suddenly my magnus' 3 capacitive buttons and the lower part of screen stop responding, i thought problem might be occured due to rom, so i installed the deodex stock rom, but this problem doesnt get solved, i installed the softkey app but also that lower part is not responding. when i used to put my phone on landscape mode then only those softkeys works.. plz try help me to solve the problem... :crying:

I am not sure but it looks that your touch screen is damaged. One my sister had dropped her magnus mobile accidentally then touch was not working in middle part. So she had to replace her whole touch screen. Her model was white one.

Yes it is clear that your touch panel is damaged, go to the service centre and repair it as soon as you can
If your mobile is white then only touch will be replaced. Service center charges 2350 ₹ including tax.
If its blue, then whole touch n display will be replaced. Service centre charges 6350 ₹.
If its in warranty then you are lucky.

Im having some trouble trying to get the touchscreen to work properly..
I though it was a random bug with phone's the lock system [as i've never configured it nor used it before].. Several minutes after booting the touch screen would stop working, but all the bottons would work perfectly and respond on time..So i decided to flash the room..
Before flashing I did a hard reset [got hardspl], everything went ok until the calibration screen came up.. The first thing it asks you to do is tap it.. I have to tap it several tens of times and wait minutes [5-10] for it to respond.. I get to the white screen where the calibration cross appears, I tap it several times and wait some minutes but I guess the system thinks Im not taping in the right zone and just starts the process all over again..
I have no idea that's going on with the touch screen.. Can't use the phone at all..
Restore your handset to Stock SPL and Stock ROM
Return your device to HTC/Carrier for a replacement
unless of course the fault is your own, they shouldnt have too much of an issue with that
I live in Costa Rica.. They don't even sell HTC here, neverless a replacement and its oow anyways..
I think its related to the digitizer, i applied some pressure on the lower left side and it's working now, will most likely fail again though..

I've flashed my phone (HTC Touch Pro) with Hardspl and then the latest Energy ROM.
Everything went perfectly and I was impressesd with how simple and easy it was and how much difference the ROM made to the phone.
Today, while using the camera, the screen went blank.
I tryed turning the phone off, pulling battery and a hard reset but its still the same.
Even after hard reset, the screen is blank but if i press the power button, on the second press, I get a flash of whats on the screen and then it goes blank again.
Should I try to reflash the phone again?
I've searched but not found the same issue

The touch screen is still working and sometimes i can see the display, but its very dark and hard to read. Is the flex cable that needs changing?
Why would it stop working so suddenly?
Should i take it apart to reseat it?
Ok, I've found the same issue in a few other peoples phones but they seem to have beeen resolved by sendin the phone back under warantee.
I dont have that option unfortunatly so need to find a fix.
The only thing wrong with the phone is the screen backlight that suddenly failed
Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction please? I cant find a definite diagnosis anywhere

i have problem with my droid 2 global
one entire column is not responding
from the home screen button to the top
includes r,d,x button on screen keyboard
it's not responding all of sudden
i thought it was the anti glare screen protector but after i remove it, the problem is still there
i tried to use touchscreen test apps, and it shows the particular column didn't respond to any touch (perfectly vertical line gap)
at all
i used fission rom, tried factory reset, change to stock rom (2.2 with blur) but still didn't work
is't hardware or software ?
can it be fixed?

after sbf-ing with 2.4.330 the screen works fine for about 1 hour
then it went wrong again
My navigation buttons have stoped working then I moved to CM 9 and used on screen navigation buttons.
And suddenly in the evening touch screen stopped working I flashed XXKPE but no use so its is a hardware fault.
So What is the cost of replacing the whole touch screen in India.?

Hi everybody my Optimus 3D is not responding to touch properly specially the soft buttons and the drag and drop menu from the top although when i touch the screen the soft key button lits up but when i touch them they are not responding.Other than these soft buttons and drag and drop munu from the top, touch screen is reponding well.I have installed custom ROM from Xbsall 1 month back and everything was fine till now.Is that a software problem or do i have to change the digitizer?plz help.

Change the digitizer. It happens to me before. First i noticed the last 3 rows in my home screen are not responding then after a few days the pull down menu also died, i cannot login to skype because the touch keyboard specially the A and the texts next to it are also not functioning. I bring it to the dealer then after 3 days it was repaired.

most probably you have soft wakelocks with CPU high spikes. Backup your current configuration you have with TWRP or CWM. Then make a reset and tell us if you still have that (make 1-2 reboots to be sure that all is set-up).

I did that several times but just after reboot it works for few seconds then it goes back to its previous state.I think i have to change the digitizer

I told you before, replace the digitizer before it's too late. The more you do something in your O3D the more it will be damaged. It is not related to softwares etc. because its hardware problem, i tried a lot before (root, kernel, ROMS, build.prop ...nothing happens)
