I have a lg gpad v500 device
It's running android 4.4.2 stock
I wanted a custom rom to install android 5 on it
I downloaded the rom but i needed cwm or twrp or philz to flash it
When i wanted to flash cwm with stock recovery
The recovery said E: can't mount sdcard (invalid argument)
Then i tried to install twrp but i made a mistake and when i boot into recovery it says: secure boot error cause: boot certification...
Then i tried all the possible ways to reboot the stock recovery but couldn't
Flashify Pc cwm philz and everything else couldnt fix it
I then decided to reflash the stock rom to take the stock recovery back
My device is running android 4.4.2 with 20d kernel
I downloaded the 20A kdz file but couldnt flash it Because all the links in this forum were dead
Now i have a kdz stock 4.4.2 rom and a not working recovery that i need it

Hi there. I'm trying to flash stock recovery but it's stuck at the point where ti says Writing recovery...
I can install TWRP, CWM, philz recoveries but I can't install back stock recovery.
Note that I have stock firmware 4.4, rooted and unlocked bootloader.
Any suggestions how can I install stock recovery?
I have installed CWM Recovery on my Huawei Device Y511-U30 over Stock Recovery (Android System Recovery 3e). Now I want to revert to Stock Recovery. Any suggestion or help? How can I do that? Can anyone give me the img file for the stock recovery.

Hi. I updated my A6000 Plus to Lollipop through CWM recovery. But after update the CWM recovery is gone and there is a new stock recovery. I tried to install both CWM and TWRP recovery through fastboot but after flashing the recovery img files and rebooting there no custom recovery runs.. always comes back to stock recovery. But after flashing the img files it show success. How to install the CWM recovery? I want to restore the 4.4.4 KitKat system backup. Even the SuperSu.zip also doesn't work..shows failed file varification when flashing through stock recovery. Anyone can help??

-First of all i unlocked bootloader and FRP
-Flashed TWRP with Adb
-Download custom rom and gapps and put on sd
-Boot in TWRP and....... wipe my internal storage cache and davlik without make a backup....i know my bad(
-Then i just go to install and try install rom (Cyanogenn 12.1) and after 3 seconds stops and its say this package is for device: y6; this device is Honor4a
"E:Error executing updater binary in zip ' /sdcard/cm-12.1-2016514-UNOFFICIAL-Y6.ZIP' Error flashingzip
-I try all custom roms for my Y6 from XDA and i just get same error for all of them
-Now the real problem is because i didnt make backup befor wipe all data now i just dont have any rom installed on my device and i cant use it
-Now i just want go back at stock rom via update.app firmware downloaded from Huawei and because i have custom recovery TWRP i cant flash it
Please help me replace TWRP with stock recovery because i want install stock rom again.

Bro , Download Stock Rom For Your Model . Then extract recovery image file using Huawei Update Extractor Tool
And follow the same steps for flashing stock recovery as you flashed the TWRP recovery

I'm using LG G3 AT&T (D850). When I bought it, It had Philz recovery already installed but Philz recovery installed is of LG G3 VS985. I want to flash Lineage OS but I can't because Philz recovey gives me an error saying: "This Zip is for device D850 and you're using VS985".
I tried to installed TWRP by using PC and also by using Flashify. There was no problem in installation but When I try to boot into recovery, There's nothing except black screen and Red blue Flashing led lights(Notification lights).
When I flash VS985 Philz recovery into my phone, The recovery works. And The CWM app is showing that I have two recoveries installed namely CWM and TWRP.

Actually You Have Broken Your Phone's Recovery . Your Phone's Bootloader Was Locked And You Flashed A Bumped Image By Flashify .
.
You can install through flashify only on kitkat and you need to flash a bumped recovery image .
On Lollipop , you cannot flash a bumped recovery directly by flashify . You need to flash it through pc by IMAGPREP tool which can also brick your phone if used stupidly .
.
So , my advice is to go back and flash the stock kitkat firmware through lg flash tool .
after that you can easily root your phone and install a bumped recovery by flashify .
