So far I have not been able to play this game for lag, it sucks compared to how smooth MC4 is.
Stock lollipop it lags, aosp 5.0 it lags, not tried stock 4.4.4 yet. Anyone know a ROM the game is lag free on ?

Iam using vipersaga rom and i noticed that Fifa 12 (paid app) lags here and there. it's very annoying if you want to score a goal and the frames drop like hell.
Can somebody help me plz. i even overclocked it @1.5ghz Performance. but it still lags. Same for Subway Surfer (free app).
i tried many roms but these games still lag so can somebody recommed me a good rom for these games?

Firstly, you are playing modern games which are designed for the newer phones - quad-core etc.
Secondly, there have been at least 10 threads this month from people asking for the best ROM for gaming. Try a non-ICS ROM - Reaper, CM7.2, Endymion.
Agree with Simon, but I think a lot of the lag is actually due to sense running in the background. I've noticed lag all all sense roms granted not to the extent to which you describe. Reaper is a lovely rom for gaming though.

This is a different game lag post compared to others because this is about Mad Skills Motocross, it's not like Temple Run where it was made perfectly for Android and you get no lag. It was originally on iOS and it was ported to Android by a different company and they ported it terribly and it's slow and laggy. However it's possible to make it play normally with no lag, I can do it by using a Touchwiz ROM that doesn't have lag in games, with GPU at 480 and CPU max at 1720. But for some reason even when I get those same GPU/CPU settings on AOSP it lags terribly. What could be causing this? What is it about AOSP that is making it lag? AOSP is usually faster in every aspect. I don't mind being on JellyBeans with a GPU OC kernel to get no lag in it but I miss AOSP's amazing battery life and fast UI, does anyone know what could be causing the lag in the game on AOSP? It's not a big deal I can give up on the game for AOSP but if anyone has ideas I'd love to hear them

I've already tried mackay and dark nexus rom. Both seem to have lags while playing games. On jb 4.1 gta vice city ran fairly smooth, however they run poorly on 4.2 so i'm asking which 4.2 rom has the best gaming performance?

I've got problem with my new nexus 5 (ver EU 32gb)
Some apps and games are working so slow, adobe reader(scrolling is like 15fps), real racing 3(when on the screen are more than 2 cars game is so laggy) even small games like kingdom rush:frontiers runs slow...
And my device have pretty bad scores in quadrant(8000 points) or antutu(22000points).
Is the device working properly? Or is this just 4.4 Kitkat fault? I'm so worried cause on my old sensation with cm10 4.2.2 some apps work better than on new nexus 5 with adreno 330.
PS, device is all stock, no root, no custom rom. I'm using dalvik.
I've changed a lot of Roms and did a lot of kernel combos...... from 2.3.6 to the latest 4.4.2 ..... But Lag my mortal nemesis had always been a close companion to me! I want a Setting of my device Nexus S i9020a SHW-M200, to produce its max. power...... Im a heavy gamer.... so i dont want games like Modern Warfare 4, GTA Vice City, Real Racing 3 and The Dark Knight etc... To Lag on my device... I've seen certain videos on Youtube whose Nexus S was running these games with ease and no lag..... I need to have a solution Plz help........
