Best 4.2 rom gaming wise? - Micromax A110

I've already tried mackay and dark nexus rom. Both seem to have lags while playing games. On jb 4.1 gta vice city ran fairly smooth, however they run poorly on 4.2 so i'm asking which 4.2 rom has the best gaming performance?

[Q] 3D performance poor

Hello,
I have recently got the Xoom and flashed a JB rom as soon as I unboxed it, I have noticed 3D performance is not great on some games. Can anyone suggest a rom with good 3D performance or if it performed better in HC/ICS.
Just get TeamEOS or CM roms and overclock the XOOM. You should get better performance, keep in mind the XOOM is 2 years old now so all the games won't run smoothly.
I have installed a 4.1.2 Rom and it has made a massive difference.

Hi I have had this tablet for a couple of months now both running stock and custom roms and It runs Temple run 2 perfect, it also runs games like Dead Trigger very well. I personally found the stock Samsung 4.1.1 rom could be laggy on some graphic intensive games but I do have alot of apps installed now and it was faster when I had less apps. It is very smooth and lag free on the optimized custom roms tho so I think you will enjoy this tablet very much. P.s. There are a few nice Kernels for stock and custom roms which will squeeze more juice out of the cpu with over clock and gpu over clock to.

These types of threads are not allowed!! It's stated clearly as a sticky post! Try pure cm7, gingersnap which is full of tweaks, perfect peso or something I don't remember the name. In future don't create use less threads.
Sent from my LG-P500 using xda app-developers app
GB is the best for overclock in my opinion...
yeah.

Pure CM7 in my opinion is the best ROM for any sort of performance. Running CM7 stable at 729MHz or 748MHz will allow you to play most non-demanding games. Most new 3D games however won't work that well. I use CM10 on a regular basis and it does play games like original Angry Birds, Cut The Rope, Ice Cream Jump, etc. with playable framerates with only occasional drops but these don't impact gameplay to me. However games like Angry Birds Space, Temple Run 1 and Need For Speed Shift won't work on CM10 but will on CM7. Again these games even on CM7 overclocked do get framedrops because the hardware on the O1 just wasn't designed for intense 3D gaming. It was barely designed to be capable of playing back 480p video. In the end though pure CM7 does do a very good job and I highly recommend it.

Why do AOSP-based roms have worse graphics performance?

I want to start this off by saying that I don't intend to bash any of the AOSP dev's around. They're doing a bloody great job.
With that out of the way, it seems like every AOSP-based rom i try (whether it's cm10.1, cm10.2, cm11 (3.0/3.4 kernel), miui, carbon etc etc just to name a few), gaming performance is way below Sense based roms. Is this because the Sense drivers are better optimized for Sensation? Is it a GPU tweak I've missed?
For example, on Sense roms I can play Temple Run 2 on Best Graphics and Asphalt 8: Airborne on Medium without any form of stuttering. On AOSP-based roms however, this turns into a slideshow. Have I missed something here? I'm desperate for some decent AOSP-GPU performance.

Best ROM for Modern Combat 5 ?

So far I have not been able to play this game for lag, it sucks compared to how smooth MC4 is.
Stock lollipop it lags, aosp 5.0 it lags, not tried stock 4.4.4 yet. Anyone know a ROM the game is lag free on ?
