[Q] Page Plus Moto G BACK to Boost - Moto G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed two Boost Moto Gs to Page Plus last year. I have since switched to Cricket and bought a new phone.
I want to sell the old Moto Gs, but I want to set them back so that they can be activated on Boost.
I have flashed the 4.4.4 Boost ROM, but my phone number is still present in the phone status screen. I need to reset all the changes I made in DFS, but I am not sure what they need to be for Boost. I had to reset the SPC to 000000 for both phones, but I only wrote down one SPC. Can these work on Boost with the 000000 code?
Can anyone help? Thank you.

[Q] Droid X and the Ol annoying bell mobility

I've been trying to sync my droid x to bell mobilities cdma network with no success, Besides having signal and when I make a call it says if you want to activate your phone call bell.
Bell says they can't use my Meid/ESN for some reason.
I have the droid rooted and have the bell prl flashed on the droid. I don't care about data I would take just using this phone for calls.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I was thinking if they can't use my esn could I use the esn from one of my old motorola razers? I tried changing the ESN on cdma(after unlocking it with the 000000 spc) but received an error. This was before I rooted, would I beable to change it now?
Anyone have any guides or pointers for the settings I would need to get the droid x working with motorola pst program or qpst.
Thanks all! Merry xmas,
Continuing the battle between A possible 300$ paper weight and Me! XP
any idea what settings i need to use to change the esn? I tried using cdma with motorola appeal setting v3, said the change was successful then reset the phone and the same esn returned. This would probably be the only way I could get this to make or receive calls since bell refuses to add cdma esns.

pretty sure we need more information. at the very least, what model moto g do you have? who are you trying to activate it with?
I active on boost mobile.
Moto G MOT1031ABB and once ill do the activation, I can make a call and get on YouTube. So ill give to the customer, then they'll come back a day later saying that it " it will not make any calls, and serve on the net (facebook)". So ill do update PRL, profile, active this device, and #786. Oh yeahh and reprogram the network. And the 3G will be on until ill make a call. And the 3G will be gray not blue.

Moto G sim help

Whenever I switch my Moto G on, it comes up with a screen saying sim network unlock pin. I think the problem started when I got the US version of Android, but I got it back to the GB version but problem hasn't gone. When I went to Tesco to sort out the problem, the man spoke to someone at Motorola and they tried some codes but nothing worked. I think he said that it had locked its self to a different network. Help?
Thanks

[Q] Has anyone been able to edit the sprint g flex2 build.porp to ATT fully working?

Hi All,
I have been trying to get my g flex2 unlocked from sprint for a while now, sprint can only give me a MSL code, so I have been forced to look into other ways to get my phone working on AT&T. I was reading on another thread people were able to get their flex2's unlocked by editing the build.porp, but I have only seen it changed to VZW, has anyone been able to use a sprint g flex 2 on AT&T by using that method. Also I heard that enabling the location services on a g flex2 with an edited build.porp to VZW puts the phone in a bootloop, could you move the GPS files from maybe the at&t model to prevent that from happening, are the gps radios different?
so far i have sms slowly working on tmobile network. i will send an sms but it will crash immediately after i press the send button. strangely enough the sms went through with no confirmation, still playing around with the settings, but have no to little knowledge on editing files or finding out what is going on to cause the phone app to crash.

Reverting Boost Mobile XT1031 from Verizon Firmware (XT1028) (old PagePlus flash)

Back in the day when the first generation Moto G from Boost Mobile (X1031) could be flashed with a lot of help from DFS and such to unlock the SPC and send fastboot commands to the phone from adb and basically wedge Verizon-based firmware on the device I did so and used the device on PagePlus for 3+ years with excellent results including 3G connectivity and everything working as if it were in fact a Verizon phone. The phone has an unlocked bootloader of course thanks to Motorola before they put the ban on unlocking the Moto G's firmware in order to perform this. This is the entire guide that I used:
http://superior-automation.com/temp/MotoG.pdf
Basically it was copying the Android 4.4.2 image over to the device from the Verizon firmware when it was a Boost Mobile phone, and right now I'm interested in converting it back to a Boost Mobile phone so that it could possibly be used, even if it means 3G only connectivity and limited capabilities (as you'd expect from a phone that is this old). I have some uses in mind for the device though and would like to see if I can get it back on Boost Mobile firmware and go from there.
I have all of the files that I should need to perform the procedure but I wanted to check and make sure that did all of my homework before I went to the trouble of trying this flash to revert it back to stock state. Right now I have the entire firmware for Verizon 4.4.2 firmware for the XT1028, version 4.4.4 for the same model, version 4.4.2 for Boost Mobile, 4.4.4 for Boost Mobile, and even the "coveted" 5.1 files for the Boost Mobile XT1031 version of the device. Right now it looks like that if I followed those instructions but used the 4.4.4 firmware for Verizon that I could update the bootloader so that I could potentially get 5.1 loaded on the device, but right now my plan is to perhaps use fastboot to push Verizon 4.4.4 firmware to the phone first, and after this take the Boost Mobile 4.4.4 firmware and again use fastboot to revert the Moto G back over to Boost Mobile running the final version of KitKat. Since I did end up having to unlock the bootloader and change the SPC to 000000 in order to be able to flash the phone over to a different carrier's firmware I wanted to make sure that it wouldn't have any impact on the flashing process or whether it would work on Boost Mobile once the modem firmware and PRL are reloaded onto the Moto G. I don't have or remember the original SPC so I can't revert that setting, but I did want to know if this would cause any issues with the phone registering with Boost Mobile or not.
If everything goes well with all of the fastboot pushes in order to revert the phone to Boost Mobile I would most likely want to upgrade the phone over to Boost Mobile with Android 5.1 running so that it has a more current OS on it and hopefully full 3G data connectivity plus talk and text. If this is not an option and the phone wouldn't be able to actually work on the BM network (it's never been activated on BM before because it was a cheap phone always used on PP) then I would consider just upgrading the phone over to Verizon's Android 5.1 and using it as a glorified MP3/video player with no data connectivity except for WiFi since I'd like to use the phone in my car as a OBD-II reader with possibly Google Maps running for directions on a mount in my vehicle. With Verizon now banning all Sprint-flashed devices from being activated on the network I know that the only chance of getting this phone activation-ready is a BM flash so I'm hoping that this process will get the phone to where it can be activated on Boost and have a cheap phone as my mini-computer inside of my car doing things like playing Pandora/Spotify, map guiding, OBD-II statistics, and so on and so forth.
Any feedback regarding the steps that I would need to take in order to revert the phone from Verizion/PagePlus back to Boost Mobile would be appreciated. I know it's an old deprecated device but if I could just get it activated on Boost then it would be a cheap little phone that I could use for small things in my car. If the phone after the flashing means that I'll never be able to activate the phone on Boost Mobile then it's not a big problem seeing as it's a device worth less than $20 on eBay but I would like to try and perform a miracle and revive the phone for Boost Mobile usage if possible. As mentioned I have all of the firmware files stored and know how fastboot works with this Moto G, and that it won't be an easy task but still have hope the phone could be used on Boost Mobile's network. If the SPC being zero'd out is the issue with getting it on BM then knowing beforehand would save me a lot of time, and I'd just upgrade it to Verizon 5.1 firmware and use it as a glorified video/MP3 player. I thank you all for any help that you might have for me in this endeavor as it would be thoroughly appreciated and honestly if it works that would be great but if not then it's no major loss at all. Cheers everyone, and thank you for your time.
