I can't even root and install CF.lumen drivers. Can I increase the space of the system partition? I'd be willing to give up some space from user data space for system.

Hi.
I recently installed on a stock v20g Optimus One, rooted, link2sd.
I've got roughly 100Mb free on the data partition, the sd-ext, an ext2, is filled for 1,26Gb.
However, currently my O1 takes 5 minutes to boot. After it's done, for other 5-6 it keeps telling me the data partition is full, and that I've got to delete applications to reclaim some free space.
After then, link2sd seems to reclaim the empty space, and my data partition becomes empty again.
Is link2sd supposed to perform like that, or there's a method to make it see the correct memory occupation since boot?
I have recently upgraded my Unite 2 (4GB) model into Lolipop from service center. But after that my storage became 1.43 GB only. Cannot install some useful apps. Please help. My phone storage is a real concern. Anyhow I want as much as possible storage. :crying: :crying:
Have you tried to clear your cache? If no, download App Cache Cleaner from Google play.
The lollipop update need more space in system than KitKat, so in order to give the /system partition more space other spaces from other partition were deducted and added to /system as far as I know
I'm on a small rom, so I've have extra fee space on the system partition. I was considering moving some apps over to system. What happens when a new version comes out and I update the app, will it install on the system partition too?
Are there instructions to increase the size of the partition where apps are stored? We keep getting no space error when updating apps.
Could you please tell me how to delete this thread I erroneously posted in the wrong forum? Thanks!

Hello,
I own a CMR-W09 with the 8.0.0.168 system. I try to install the 8.0.0.181 OTA update but I get a “insufficient space” error dialog box: I need to free ~200MB.
Why is that? The update is “only” 465MB and I have 1.1GB of free space on the storage card (/data) and 1.4GB on the system partition. Isn't this sufficient?
I get the same kind of error when trying to update apps: sometimes 500MB of free space aren't sufficient to update a 10MB app. How so?
That leads me to this model disk usage: is this normal the /data partition is only 22.2GB? Of which a gigantic 13.7GB is used for system data? Meaning I only get 8.5GB (or even 6.2GB if I take into account the 1.3GB I should keep free for OTA updates!) to install my own apps … I expected at least the double when buying a 32GB device! Any way to extend this? Through adoptable storage? Or Link2SD or anything similar?
