Hello,
there is a "workaround" for some cases of network problems when using n-draft mode.
You have to change "HT_Enable=1" to 0 in order to disable 802.11n Mode of the WLAN
/system/etc/wifi/tiwlan.ini
HT_Enable=0

The problem is, that there is no such file. Maybe this was valid for some older systems.
Is there any other method to disable the 802.11n mode on android 4.4.2?
Thx
Update:
I have found this.
http://w1.fi/cgit/hostap/plain/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
disable_ht=1
disable_ht40=1
does not improve the situation
Any ideas?
At least how do I access the logs of this service?

I got a moto XT1023 mono-sim that was purchased in Boston (and frankly I forgot to see what was the original firmware)
So I installed the CM11, but did not work for me because the headset did not work ..
installed again the stock rom, and none of what I tried did the phone signal work, I could upgrade to 4.4.4, but the phone signal did not work.
Until I found the ROM RETUAWS_XT1023_4.4.2_KXC20.82-15_cid9_CFC.xml.zip
(http://bit.ly/1pGmrKp)
And to re-install it, i needed to reset the phone again
And it worked, I went back to have phone sign, worked headphones!
But I cannot upgrade to 4.4.4 and consequently will not update for android 5.
Any help?
I noticed that all rom i've tested and the phone signal didn't work are _cid14_
the rom it worked on my phone, is _cid9_

There is a 4.4.4 version, does anyone know if you can work?
Because I got tired of resetting the phone and having to install all the apps again, so with unroot the phone to install improvements in battery .
If i just flash the recovery 4.4.4 i can solve it?

Hi guys!
Im trying to bypass a MAC filter, I want my phone and tablet to use the same MAC Address as my parents tablet. I did my research and found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2286440 I downloaded everything but sadly it does not work (I have root and all other requirements). When I go through the process it seems to work but when I look in settings the MAC Address is unchanged but I am not able to connect to the wifi network anymore. I am using the Galaxy Tab 2 with Cyanogenmod 10 (or 11).
Please help me to get this work!
Xenofen
Edit: if this doesn't work because of cyanogenmod I will try rooting my old Galaxy Y and do the spoofing thing on there and proceed to use it as a WIFI hotspot.
Hi there,
If that guide doesn't help you maybe this one do: [UPDATE 18/05/13][GUIDE] Spoof WIFI Mac address in Android

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
There should be an option to disable wifi scanning when wifi is off. Since I don't have that phone, I cannot confirm it's existence nor share where it can be found (Settings somewhere).
Your device community should help. They can be found in this thread:
> Android Development and Hacking > Android General > LG Optimus VU 2 ( F200S / F200K / F200 L) - discussion, root, recovery, ROMs
Please note, you will need to have an XDA account to post there.
Hope this helps, and good luck!
