Hey just want to know is there anyone in this forum looking for making a custom rom of cm12 for Samsung galaxy core 2 sm-g355h this poor phone has no fame as it consider as low end device even it can handle lollipop smoothly but it's ignore by dev . Some respectful dev should make a lollipop Base custom rom for this sad phone all user of core 2 like me search every day on Xda/Internet to get a news of lollipop rom for the device that make them happy till date no lollipop Base custom rom is released hope some dev will try hard to make a lollipop rom and gives a smile on face of core 2 user :3

imm having so much trouble trying to establish my sd card as main storage.

In Samsung you can't I think main storage is refer tu emulated otherwise Try app call link2sd + it's link your app including internal data to ext sd card. It also link the app to sd automatically after the installation complete.

It would be great, if somebody create a ROM for our Samsung Galaxy 3. I just got fed up of my stock ROM.
Even without Custom ROM, I am not able to apply any theme, or even not able to Metamorph. Please, It would be nice great if you people (Developers) can create or build up the Custom ROM.

Now I want to change slightly the voltages to get a longer mobile life^^
But SetCPU shows a real strange voltage behaviour, that cannot be real. You guys have any suggestions?

I have bought a galaxy ace and unfortunately it is gt-s5830i which hasn't got any custom roms till now as far as I know isn't there anything that be done to overclock this phone over 832mhz. ickyyy wrote that we can use the roms of galaxy y but it would have some bugs such as camera would not work. ickyyy if you are reading then please help me I can bare some bugs but I am mainly excited to overclock my phone. In one of your posts I found the clockmodrecovery and have backed up my phone please can you suggest me that whether should I use a ROM of galaxy y and if the bugs are too much for me can I restore my phone (as it is my first Android and I have bought it 3 Weeks before and haven't used Odin etc).
Also it would be a great help if you tell me or just give a link to the full and the easiest easiest way of flashing.
My advice is don't risk to flash ROM's for galaxy Y.It has the same hardware,however it's not 100% sure that it won't kill your phone.The display resolution is different.It may be posible that you would be able to flash and run it but it has no point.For overclocking you need a custom kernel which.Flashing a kernel for a different device may be very dangerous as it can kill your phone with no chance of reviving it.Just wait some time and there will be custom roms,kernel and everything for s5830i and you'll be able to overclock it.Many people are currently trying to port some ROMs and developing kernels but there are no good developers for this phone yet so it's very hard and slow...don't rush it!Use the stock rom.Samsung must release a new update to optimize applications and the videocore IV so it should give better FPS on games and etc...

I'm trying to make a port for CM11 , CM10 or anything to mobile phone Galaxy S Duos - S7562 -L because we have no other developer doing anything for this device and decided by the hands in the dough , I have knowledge in linux and a little programming , have experience in iT for 10 years and want to risk , however could not follow the official tutorials Cyanogem and Google ... always end up with an error that I can not find anything .
1 - My first doubt is whether it is possible to perform the port , it is strange no one has yet tried a port of anything except the kyleopen that eh original rom with just a few additions script and deletion of apps from Samsung . It is possible to perform this port ? Developers have achieved the grand duos , so I believe it is possible also to my device .
2 - it is possible to perform another port using the stock rom sansung , Galaxy Young Duos (with android 4.2.1 ) is very similar to S duos ( stuck in 4.0.4 ) in terms of hardware but not seen anything about how to accomplish this type of port anywhere , extracts the / system and did some comparisons but it does not know how to package and flash , since the packages that depend on ODIN I have to work . ( listed on the site SAMMOBILE.com )
3 - The phone is with root access , and also with cwm 5 installed , however when I go into FlashBoot mode, it can not find the device , but adb is working properly ... need to do something before accessing the boot flash samsung for this unit ?
I apologize for the questions , however I researched a lot and have installed linux on my pc at the moment for countless attempts and so far always resulted in failure , I 'm not going to give up so easily , however I must be missing something ... this phone does not have any version ever home so most of the tutorials are not intended for me , as well as those I found to use the power fail at the time of fastboot , as some failures occur at compile time , believe they are incomplete .

You can install cm11, cm10.1 and cm10.2 on s duos which is actually built for galaxy ace 2x. Only problem is that the build has a long list of bugs, and both the sim card slots don't work as the build is for a single sim device. Instead of building from scratch why don't you just modify ace 2x rom so that atleast one of the sim card slot works.

Nikhil ... 007, I appreciate the information and I will start working on the rom for now, hope to have success in the making, I really think it will be simpler q trying to update, because I tried several times to make from scratch and have not had any success in the attempt which made me to be discouraged.

HEY WELL IVE FLASHED CM 11 ON S DUOS AND FOUND NO POSSIBLE WAY TO FIX NETWRK ISSUE NOW
but ony network is not only issue u got no blue tooth and camera is always rotated we will fix those soon hope so :angel::angel::angel::angel:

first of all,i do appreciate for your works for developing custom rom.As i mentioned,you all know that Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360 is one of popular device with low ram and internal memory. It is great problem to update that device with high-profiled android version as like jellybean,kitkat,lolipop.They need more ram speed and internal memory capacity.I saw various type of custom rom.Then why not you all add those system which help to increase ram and memory as like kernal,swapper,link2sd,busybox,as2sd etc. Bcz those single apps are always updated with latest android version.Its hard to get those apps older version which is compatible with device like samsung galaxy Y GT-S5360.If we get all things within one package zip,it will most helpful for us and appreciatable for you all too.i hope you all deveploers will think about it.Best of luck for all you.May GOD bless u all.

I am a total newbie when it comes to Android ROMs and stuff.I am using an iPhone 3GS as my daily driver.My previous S Duos was very slow in stock ROM,I recently installed the Galaxy S5 Experience ROM on my S Duos and I was amazed by how smooth it was.It looked very good,ran smooth with very minor/No Bugs.Sadly,I think development has stopped on there (Please correct me if I am wrong).The thing is,I love the Xperia's Awesome UI from Sony.With very intelligent Devs here,I think it's possible for making a Xperia Z5 Lollipop-Like ROM on our S Duos.You know,Totally different from TouchWiz with almost everything resembling the glorious Sony

Is it easy to make a ROM and a Kernel ? I have ZERO Coding knowledge,But I have a copy of Linux and Ubuntu in my PC.I am looking forward to make a 1.4/1.5 Ghz CPU + 350/372 Mhz GPU.It would be smooth on the Xperia UI.The Kernel,I probably think it might fry the phone I am willing to learn and do this.

Hard Bricked means the phone is basically dead.Like a dead organism,Not possible to bring it back to life.

why dont you flash cm11 and install any xperia themes availabe for cm11
