[Q] Unlock & Relock bootloader Question - Xperia Z3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I'm new to this, Iv'e backed up the TA and wondering that if I was to unlock the xperia z3 bootloader and relock would the Camera performance permanently be affected by the unlock or would it go back to the state it was in before it was unlocked? Thanks.

If you unlock and restore the TA it will be just like before, but then I have to ask why unlock if you are going to relock immediately afterwards?

[Q] Sony Xperia S LT26i Boot Loader Unlocking & Relocking Prerequisites

I'm looking for someone to shed a little light on this for me...
I wish to unlock my Xperia S boot loader (Service info says "YES").
But, I also want a way to revert the phone completely back to stock.
So I need to ensure I can relock the boot loader, and DRM etc will function as normal.
I need a few things
Whats the best way to unlock my boot loader?
If possible, can I Relock the boot loader?
Once Relocked, and stock ROM applied, is it fully functional? (DRM and TrackID working etc)
Sorry for the double post...
Just wondering if anyone could help or answer?
I've now rooted my SXS, still would like to know about unlocking and Re-locking the bootloader.

How to restore TA partition without relocking bootloader ?

So I tested lohzocum's kernel and it works, however when I tried restoring the TA partition, it wouldn't boot anymore. And I re-flash the stock KK firmware, it said Bootloader unlocked allow: Yes. So obviously my bootloader was locked again. Any way to avoid bootloader relocked ?

Why would you restore TA with unlocked bootloader ? it doesn't have any meaning .
It'd be nice to be able to restore the DRM keys but not relock the bootloader.
Especially after reading stuff like this: http://www.gsmarena.com/unlocking_the_sony_xperia_z3__bootloader_degrades_its_camera-news-9831.php
I wonder if it affects the M2 as well.
In any case, it's not as useless as you think.
I think it affects our camera, or is it just me ?

It doesn't. I took a picture before unlocking the bootloader and then another one right after unlocking - no difference in quality at least in manual mode.

Re-lock bootloader

Hey guys! I unlocked my bootloader keeping my DRM Keys by using this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292598
Now I'm on ZyxxOS ROM and I would like to return to stock ROM, make root and relock the bootloader.
The problem is that I don't know how I can root the phone after flashing the ftf of the stock ROM, can someone tell me how o provide me a link to a tutorial? I've searched and didn't see any around the forum

Flash an insecure kernel. Its the easiest way to root. But in the OP you said you wanted to re-lock the bootloader, then you cannot boot an insecure kernel.
Please let me know if you will have a locked or unlocked bootloader.

Why? You will lose root when you re-lock
Just go back to stock and re-lock then use the massive thread in the general section to root.
Also, that rooting method works on unlocked bootloaders as well. Anything that works on a locked bootloader works on an unlocked bootloader as well.

You don't. You know the saying.... Once you go bootloader unlocked, you never go back.
There's a DRM fix which brings back camera and other functionalities that are usually lost on unlock. So use that.
