How to restore TA partition without relocking bootloader ? - Sony Xperia M2

So I tested lohzocum's kernel and it works, however when I tried restoring the TA partition, it wouldn't boot anymore. And I re-flash the stock KK firmware, it said Bootloader unlocked allow: Yes. So obviously my bootloader was locked again. Any way to avoid bootloader relocked ?

Why would you restore TA with unlocked bootloader ? it doesn't have any meaning .

It'd be nice to be able to restore the DRM keys but not relock the bootloader.
Especially after reading stuff like this: http://www.gsmarena.com/unlocking_the_sony_xperia_z3__bootloader_degrades_its_camera-news-9831.php
I wonder if it affects the M2 as well.
In any case, it's not as useless as you think.

I think it affects our camera, or is it just me ?

It doesn't. I took a picture before unlocking the bootloader and then another one right after unlocking - no difference in quality at least in manual mode.

[Q]Unlock bootloader without reset to factory

I unlocked my bootloader in the past but I needed to relock to update my stock firmware. I relocked it by flashing this https://www.dropbox.com/s/bq29i4f6vmlxptk/Xperia_U_ST25i_Relock_Bootloader.ftf . Now, is my bootloader still unlocked? If not how can I unlock and after that come to my current setup? Will a TB backup do it?
Anyone?

[Q] Unlock & Relock bootloader Question

Hello,
I'm new to this, Iv'e backed up the TA and wondering that if I was to unlock the xperia z3 bootloader and relock would the Camera performance permanently be affected by the unlock or would it go back to the state it was in before it was unlocked? Thanks.

If you unlock and restore the TA it will be just like before, but then I have to ask why unlock if you are going to relock immediately afterwards?

Z5 OEM Unlock Bootloader - Preserving DRM most likely!?

Seems the Z5C community have found a way to unlock the bootloader directly from the device. Is this possible yet for the Z5?

This isn't unlocking it from the device I'm afraid. This is just a toggle to enable you to unlock the bootloader via fastboot.
We also have said setting in our developer options, it doesn't effect anything other than enabling the fastboot command 'fastboot oem unlock'.
Thanks for clarifying

Unlocking the Bootloader voids your warranty, yes.
Officially there is no way to relock the bootloader but you can relock it, however you will not get your DRM keys/TA partitions back unless you have backed them up (which we currently cannot do).

if i relock the bootloader, and i cant restore drm keys, the warranty will still be back, or the drm keys will affect it as well?

Nope. Once You open your device loose them forever. If, someday we got a root with looked bootloader You can make a backup of them and open and lock restoring the TA partition.

Bootloader relock without TA partition

As title says, is it possible?
I tried to unlock bootloader even with message saying "Bootloader unlock: No" and it worked. I didnt expect this to happend and I've lost TA partition. Most stupid move I've ever made.
Now I'm wondering about possibility of relocking without TA. I dont really care about X-Reality, low light camera issues etc.
Just want to know will it work? I really would like to avoid hard bricking.
Any information?
Without a TA partition backup, you can't relock.
Are you sure the bootloader was unlocked? Does the phone display the warning screen when phone boots?

This is impossible. If it said it was not allowed then you cannot unlock the bootloader. I imagine that your bootloader is still locked or that it was allowed in the first place.
You will not be able to restore your TA, but i believe you may be able to relock the bootloader using flashtool without it. However, you will not get back the lost functions so you will be better off keeping it unlocked (If you really are unlocked) and using a custom ROM/kernel with the DRM restore functions.
Yes I do have a warning message at boot stage. I'm currently using Existenz ROM, have root etc. So it is unlocked. I've seen a post on this forum with information that some phones display fake message about unlocking bootloader. Thats why I have tried unlocking my phone and it worked. Before bootloader unlock: no, now it says Yes. All I had to do was open dev options, check oem unlock and debug. I'm not lying to you guys.

bootloader unlocked :no it means that state of your bootloader is locked but you can unlocked.
bootloader unlocked allowed :no means you cant unlocked your bootloader because some restriccions on your phone. Only sony can change this state.
So sorry you cant relocked your bootloader if you lost your ta you only can fix it but flashing a custom kernel with drmfix. cheers
Have you relock your bootloader. I meet same sittuation with you. I unlocked bootloader for my xz1, now i want to relock it, but it cant be done. It has bootloader unlocked allowed :no
