Does anyone know what do do about this? I originally thought it was my old phone (Nexus 5), but when I got my Oneplus One, it happens just as much. I can't get through an entire song without it skipping, changing volume levels, or glitching out with weird sounds. Anyone else experience this? If so, any thoughts on fixing it?
CM11? CM12? Bluetooth? Cable bound headphones? Just a tiny bit more information about the infrastructure you have deployed, maybe? Yes?

lol, Right?
but OP, you are not alone...its a known issue with CM12, or maybe lollipop as a whole.
happens to me mostly on a wired connection (in my car) and once in a blue moon on my BT headset.

Interesting. I didn't know this was a known issue. I'm running the blisspop rom, android 5.0.2, CM12. This happens through wired connection. I havent used Bluetooth to try and find a connection. Thanks for the replies guys.
Latest CM12 commits should fix audio skipping. It should trickle down to custom/modded build eventually for all not sticking to CM.

So not sure what's up, using that icecream fake rom and OC kernel, and I hear audio hissing most noticible through headphones when there is a noise, there is a hissing going on. It stops after audio stops though, not sure what's up.
I don't know if my rom and kernel are related to this, may have been here before? Anyone else notice this?
Try putting different rom and see the issue is still there cauz I been running ice cream rom with faux123's kernel and never had single problem like this.

Just tried this and still the same problem
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426590
Guess my phone is broken?
Also tried returning the ICS one to stock same problem. Also tried it on my hd595 headphones, same problem.
I should mention it does it on the speakers as well, but it's much less noticible.
Do factory reset and if its still bad than you have bad hardware.

By factory reset do you mean like unroot and all?
Well try out stock rom first and if you still have problem than i am pretty sure its ur phone but going stock won't hurt because you would be returning them any way.

It's not your ROM its he audio chip in the phone. There is a thread in skyrocket general where we have been discussing it.
Only workaround is bluetooth or higher quality headphones kinda mask it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428792
So what exactly did you guys do for workaround?

Wait so all phones do this? But I mean it's so loud... well there is a tiny scratch on it too, might as well replace it anyway.
I can't use bluetooth headphones though because I have an icontrolpad and I don't think it can connect to multiple audio devices. Oh well, I don't use it for heavy music stuff, but I mean it's just really loud that hissing.

Nothing, you either ignore it or go bluetooth

Yup, just some of us notice it and others don't. I forget about it unless I try to hear for it. If it's extremely loud I'd get a replacement
So replaced it, same problem. Oh well, but I mean I guess you can ignore it, but hissing bugs me, not enough to not love this phone though.
Even have LTE in Pleasanton.
Thx fags for help anyway

No one has the jabmox and can reply if they have the same issue? I read on MS Support site that other users had the same issue with Windows 8 Dev preview. Can someone please chime in? Is this with the Big Jambox only? Or does it happen with other bluetooth speakers as well?
Really looking for a fix.

Thats concerining that MS still didnt address this issue in Windows 8 more or less the Surface RT Tablet version!. I mean really how many users are going to run into this, most use bluetooth spearks to stream music etc.. from tablets and phones.
I'm hoping they release an update to fix this soon.

Try pairing with an iphone or android, help determine what device is at fault. A mini review of the sound would be nice, in case these become a firesale item because of incompatibility issues.
I am having the same problem. Paired no problem with my regular Jambox but disconnects immediately with my Big Jambox.
I am going to update the Big Jambox firmware to see if that helps.
I can't believe that this is an issue in this day and age.
Frustrating.
For what its worth, I sent a support request to Jawbone with a link to this thread explaining the issue. Probably won't achieve much, but worth a try I guess. At least it may make them aware of the problem.

No problems with my Android Transformer Prime or my Windows Phone.
You won't see these fire sales any time soon.
This guy found a solution:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pxuILyzMqI
Haven't tried it out yet but it should work.
When I checked the "Properties" for my regular Jamnox versus the Big Jambox it definitely isn't being seen as a audio device.
I recently switched from CM10 to JellyBam version 5.2. It is running Android 4.2.1. Ever since I installed it (and I've tried re-flashing it twice) the audio is only coming out of the main speaker and not the headphone jack. Does anyone know why this would happen?
Update:
It seems to not be recognizing the headphones at all. When I set it to make the phone silent when I plug in headphones nothing happened.

If you check that thread you'll see that there are problems routing sound to the headphones in this release.....ther's also a suggested fix as well.

I see that a permanent fix is on it's way through some code change. Others report that app works for them, hope you have the same experience.
It foes work... However the auto detect wasn't working for me... When I use headphones I had to set it that way
.. Using the speaker I had to set it to speaker... Its not jumping through hoops as its just checking an option. But it does indeed get the job done

Well. I have this issue since I bought the phone.
So, when using the microphone, either during calls or recording myself, the sound output is really low.
When on calls, people often complains about how low they're hearing me, and when I record myself and then listen to it, the sound is indeed really low.
I'm on Mahdi, using Franco Kernel (clean install).
Is there anyone suffering this or know any possible fix?
There's as fix for that. It's in this q&a section or the general section I believe.

I'm having the exact same problem, Oneplus support said the update should release in mid Oct to fix the mic issue and laggy screen, the sooner the better.
CM12 official nighlies, just updated to latest one but this has been a problem since I went from stock 05Q to CM12. Google Play Music plays slightly faster than it should only on Bluetooth..... I have clean flashed twice, cleared cache for app and system and still it does it. Anyone know why?
Is anyone else experience this?
Bluetooth is usually always the problem between CM upgrades..... Not sure why but I've noticed it's the first thing to break no matter the phone.,

Yes I also have this issue with CM12 on my Galaxy S5 SM-G900M. I have it affecting both the Google Play Music app and the stock CM music app. I tried all the regular stuff also (clear cache, full wipe, yada yada).
Seems to be affecting multiple devices I guess.
Also affects me, thought it was so weird but it has always happened with my OnePlus one.

I had a note 2 a while back that had this issue. It was a kernel issue. Maybe try a dif kernel? I'm on CM11 05Q running franco kernel considering there's CM12 support?
I will flash back CM12 and test with a different kernel tonight. Retest Bluetooth audio on my way to work tomorrow and report what happens.
Tried two different kernels with no change. Still having bluetooth audio skip and play slightly faster / higher pitched.
Just an update. I am still having this issue... I clean flashed Slim 5.0 and the problem was still there
Just had a thought, can anyone try to recreate the issue with AwesoePlayer instead of Nuplayer

When I had this issue, again with the Note 2, it was in PowerAMP. Stock music didn't seem to have it.

Turning off Wi-fi during Bluetooth playback worked for some other devices experiencing the problem.
Edit: apparently this has been a reoccurring issue across multiple devices with android.
Same issue with Spotify
I updated to CM12S on my OPO yesterday. Noticed since that music plays fast and pauses every 15 seconds.
Any advice on resolving?
I'm having the same issue on CM12s. :/
Hope there's a fix for this soon, it's a huge issue for me. Music sounds like **** when trying to listen to it in the car.

It is worth noting that this does not exist on other Bluetooth devices right now and just in my Mazda 3 2013. What car do you have?
I also have a 2013 Mazda, lol. It's a CX 5,but it also happens with my Samsung soundbars in my house

I have a 2012 Mazda 3, I see this issue with CM12 and 12.1
Works fine on my bluetooth speaker in the house.
Works fine in the car on Oxygen.
There is a bug filed on Jira. BACON-3275
It appears to be almost exclusive to Japanese cars.

Not exclusive to Japanese cars...I'm having the same issue in a VW and across all my bluetooth audio devices in the house. Great phone but Oneplus/Cyanogen is ****ting the bed lately.
A lot of people experience problem with bluetooth, the problem for me is there since 4.4.4. I can't receive phone calls in my car (BMW E39) . At best it connect 15 seconds then bluetooth restart on my phone. In CM bug tracker there is A LOT of complains. I don't mean to ***** but devs need to seriously look into this. Some bug report are from OCTOBER 14.
Patience everyone....
