[Completed] Won't boot into recovery - XDA Assist

Hey there, so I'm a newbie at this and I have already rooted my Xperia V and the bootloader is unlocked. It's not updated to the latest Firmware, it's running Android 4.3. Anyways, I installed some sorts of ROM applications (ROM Installer and ROM Manager). I checked the recovery mode to TWRP and when I clicked boot into recovery, the phone would boot up normally. I tried booting it myself with various combinations but the phone won't boot into recovery. I don't know what to do, can anyone help me out?

I hope this worked for you.

[Q] HELP.. My GT-S5570 can't boot into recovery mode

I bricked my mini. it was dead then I find a boot loader file I flashed it using Odin then I flashed gingerbread 2.3.5 ..
Now my mini is working fine but I can't boot into recovery mode.. download mode working fine.. everything...OK but I just can't get into recovery
When I do the combo ...its just reboot
So any ideas..
Also I can't do a factory data reset.
Is that caused by the bootloder file???

Most probably its the boot loader that is different from ur stock boot loader. To the best of my guess, u might have flashed an older boot loader designed for earlier android devices having support for actions allowed in correlation with Android 2.1 or earlier ported or somhow able to be flashed to ur mini. Do mention the boot loader if u can, that will b of real help..

I was trying to flash CM9 and I used rom manager then it becomes dead. After that someone fixed it.. and flashed the old stock rom.. becomes running android 2.1 so I tried to flash back gingerbread 2.3.5 then It says firmware can't be updated... and it's stuck in a connection lost logo so I used the ARM1-Boot. In The link.. then I flashed back gingerbread.. it becomes work fine except recovery mode and factory data reset can't be done

[Help] Problem With ROMs after Factory Reset

So I have the LG Optimus V and was running a custom Stock ROM. I was going to give it to a friend to use so decided to use the factory reset in the phone...whoops.
I'm using ClockworkMod Recovery v3.2.0.0 and every time I try to install a ROM from the zip file on it it just goes back to Clockwork after a reboot.
I've tried using the ROMs listed here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/LG_Optimus_V/ROMs (besides MIUIv4 and LeWa Port) to no avail. I just keep rebooting back into recovery after it says it was a successful install.
I've also tried getting into a workaround using fastboot but I believe the condition my phone is in right now won't allow it. I can't boot up to the fastboot recovery and other issues have arised.
So is there anything I can do or am I boned?
Thanks for reading and any feedback

Are there any other recoveries for your phone
AFAIK new ROMs don't support Clockwork Mod 3.2
Try updating the recovery to the latest one available i.e maybe 4.x for your Optimus V
This problem happened to me some months ago
I reflashed the recovery using terminal emulator

Can you sideload in TWRP?' It's even faster than pushing for the unpatient folk like me. lol
And yeah jd I still have the Rocket.
that was his first and only post, i bet he wont be back. sounds like a root toolkit child.
How?
Having said that I cannot detect the phone in the PC, how can i put the ROM in a folder?
Guess what? He's back!
@Shibazeet
You need to follow this thread to setup adb/fastboot: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Use NRT nexus root toolkit 1.8.4
& recommend to install stock image nexus from official google website , just search " stock image nexus 5 "

Use this guide to setup fastboot. Then download the factory image to your computer. Use fastboot to install it and any other future roms.

My friend, you don't use fastboot to flash "ROMs".
Sorry woke up 5min before writing that. Running on 4hrs sleep now. Meant use fastboot to install stock image, flash a recovery. Then use custom recovery to flash future roms. Just pointing him in the right direction. With a little reading, he'll figure it out.

[Q] [Root] Can't boot into flashed recovery

So, I have been talking with a friend for a while and finally decided to root my device. With help from him, we were able to get as far as flashing a recovery image. Sadly, everytime that I tried to boot into recovery, it just sat on the logo, and after a while, booted normally.
The device currently has root access (towelroot) and I can do everything root related, but I don't feel right now having a custom ROM.
Things we have tried:
TWRP Manager (For TWRP)
Flashify (TWRP, CWM)
Rom Installer (CWM)
CynogenMod - My device is obsolete apparently so it would not pick it up
ADB - Driver Issues (Yay Vista)
Yet everytime, the same issue. Any idea on what I could do now?
Device Info -
KitKat 4.4.2
Xt926 (CDMA)
Droid RAZR Maxx HD
Bootloader is unlocked
Do you already unlocked the bootloader?

Yes, the bootloader is unlocked.
The TWRP that works for our phone is not official, so it won't be in any of those apps. Get the TWRP app in the Original Development section of this forum and flash it via fastboot or sideload and flash via Flashify.

After you downloaded the Oxygen zip did you extract it as per the Oxygen install instructions? The zip that you download contains another zip, which is the flashable zip, that's the one that you flash with your custom recovery. So if you didn't do that that's your problem, do that and then boot back into your custom recovery using the power + volume down button combination, copy the flashable zip to your phone and flash it.
