In settings>Status Bar, make sure heads up notifications are on. Then, in Display&Lights, check DT2sleep, DT2wake, and Prevent acc. Wake-up. Then, in profiles, make sure the lock screen option has system default set. If that doesn't work, wipe cache and dalvik in recovery. If that fails, I would try flashing the rom again. If you've recently gone from KK to 5.0 or something like that, you might need a full wipe (data, dalvik, cache) so back up anything important beforehand. Good luck!

I've just flashed this ROM on my phone and everything is working perfectly except for one thing. Every time I reboot my phone (by just turning it off, or using the reboot button in the power menu), it wipes the data and settings on the phone (not on the SD card).
When I start the phone again it asks me to register a google account again, and all settings are gone.
Is this a bug, or did I do something wrong?
BTW I don't know if this is posted in the right section, I wanted to ask this in the original thread but because I have not posted more then 10 messages I was not able to, and the forum told me to post it here.
It just might be a temporary bug. I would trying do a full wipe along with wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash the ROM again and see what happens. If the problem persists, then it might something else that is wrong.
Thanks! After a lot of messing around and even flashing some ICS ROMs, it worked. I now have the ROM I wanted without everything resetting itself in a reboot. Again thanks!
HI All,
I have a rooted x10i with custom ROM which was recently updated. I had a problem with my phone. whenever I try to use it for a call, camera, net or any other application the phone gets switch off by displaying a message called "ANDROID SYSTEM - POWER OFF" This problem was there even before updation. It is still remaining the same. i tried clearing the battery stats in the xrecovery, and also wiped dalvik cache, and cache partitions, but still the problem remains the same.
I dont know what to do and have been trying all the options but of no use. I am not able to use my phone properly.
Hope some one gives a good solution to the problem. Shall be highly appreciated.
Regards
Sriharshas
might be a hardware problem since this has apparently occurred on more than 1 rom. Just go to a service place and ask them.
Hello guys
I have a problem with my service. Suddenly, my HTC One X + was stuck in airplane mode. It was 'turning off' without anything happening. So i went onto this forum and started searching for any solutions. They told my to do a factory reset, and I did. Accidentally i also erased a little too much and i erased my original OS. After that I found that I could restore it by flashing a custom ROM onto my phone, and I did, as my phone was completely useless without an OS. Eventually I turned out fine and I am able to use my cellphone again with the custom ROM. (Viper btw)
I was pleased that I could re-use my phone, but after a while, the same thing happened all over again. I could send/receive messages for about 5 minutes, then suddenly I couldn't anymore, but it didn't show the 'turning off' text under the airplane mode, instead it showed 'off', so I didn't really get it. Then I tried restarting me phone and I went to settings, where of course, 'turning off' was shown under the airplane mode setting..
So I tried doing a factory reset, cache wipe and Dalvik cache wipe again, and indeed, after restart, I could receive/send messages and calls again. Sadly, after about 5 minutes, the same thing happened again and I could not send/receive messages or calls. I have no clue about what the problem is, because after all, I can send/receive right after I reset it, so it isn't broke or anything? At least that is what I derive of that.
Anyhow, it would be great if you guys could help me out here. Hoping on a quick response.
Thanks beforehand
Try installing the rom again.. and this install Orignal Rom of ur device.. And before doing that Wipe data and cache. From advance Wipe dalvik cache.. Then go to Mount and storage and fromat system.. Then Flash Rom.
Everything was going so well. I received my perfect phone a couple days ago...unlocked it, installed cwm 6.0.4.4, and rooted it. Kept it stock and only flashed franco and Drummerjed's volume boost. Life was swell.
I decided I wanted to try the Dalvik optimization mod and in preparation booted into recovery to make a nandroid. I always wipe the cache/dalvik cache before making nandroids because they're made faster when I do this. Never had an issue. This time, however, after clicking to wipe the cache partition the system seemed to freeze, which was weird because on my N4 it clears the cache in a matter of seconds. I held the power button down to reboot the phone and immediately knew something was wrong when I was greeted by 3 warning signs in the notification bar. I then discovered that I have no cell service. I am also unable to access internal storage.
I imagine that I'm going to have to flash the factory image and start over, but I'm wondering if there's any way to avoid that? I'm also wondering why this happened so I can avoid reproducing this in the future. Does cache wiping take considerably longer on the N5, and did I interrupt the process by rebooting the phone?
Thanks so much for your help.
I think you did interupt the process by rebooting the phone. Wiping dalvik/cache does seem to take a lot longer on this phone than on other devices (the only other device I have to compare to is the Nexus 7 though). I would say to just let it sit while it does it's thing next time.
I did have a problem with not having cell service once after wiping dalvik/cache though. I just rebooting into recover and wiped again and my cell service was back. Give that a shot and see what happens.

Thanks, ramdyc, wiping again worked. After rebooting, everything was back to normal (seemingly). Cache wipe on my N5 takes waaayyy longer compared to what I'm used to on N4...just gotta be patient with it!
If you are using TWRP, go into the settings and enable rm -rf and it will wipe instantly. (or something like that - forgot teh exact setting name)
If anyone reads this and wiping it again DOESN'T work, you can flash the stock cache.img via fastboot and you'll be good to go.

I'm using cwm. I actually just flashed the recently released touch version of it and wiping cache with it took mere seconds like it does on my N4. Thanks for your help, guys!
hey guys so im in a rough situation, I turned on my phone and randomly got a message same something like: CM loader could not be run/loaded and wouldnt let me do anything on the phone. So i decided to wipe the phone and install a custom rom. Now when i get into the setup screen after 3 seconds the phone reboots. This continues to happen till i hold the power button down and turn device off. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help is appreciated!
have you tried to just do a complete wipe and reflash the rom after the problem persisted?
yeah i did with a different rom too, still same thing
And you did a full wipe (system/data/cache/dalvik cache) before flashing?
