In an another computer reinstalled a new android SDK. New drivers were installed and everything went OK.
I wrote in a few days ago regarding my phone not being able to detect the SIM card.
From further studies, I found that the issue is likely my baseband. Here's my Tablet's info:
Model Number: GT-P6200
Android versoin: 4.0.4
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-P6200XXLQ1-CL776352
[email protected] # 3
SMP PREEMPT Mon Jun 25 14:42:23
KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.XXLQ1
I am not sure if that's normal but I gather baseband unknown is not good. I'm trying to go for a fix and maybe reflash my modem file.
However I have two other complications:
* My broadband is down, I'm typing from a USB Dongle
* My tablet can't be detected by Windows. The issue started sametime the Sim coulnd't be found, I tried connecting the tablet to 3 different PCs and it couldn't be detected at all -- I can't even install USB drivers as the PC doesnt even recognize the phone. So I can't update via USB.
I can still connect via WiFi, might go to a place with WiFi and try "Software Update" to see if I can get a software update via the air.
But it seems my only other option is to flash via MicroSD in recovery mode.
Can I fix the baseband by flashing from MicroSD in recovery mode?
I think I screwed up, I flashed using Mobile Odin the 4.0.4 firmware found in one of the threads here for Hong Kong (can't find it anymore). The ICS here flashed my device to a P6200L --> And now Mobile Odin won't work with it! The baseband is still broken. So looks like I lost the ability to flash my device altogether now. I'll try KIES and hope I can do something in KIES, because the new firmware didn't fix the problem.
My current device:
Model Number: GT-P6200L
Android versoin: 4.0.4
Baseband version: Unknown
Kernel Version: 3.0.15-P6200LVJLP5-CL979354

SMP PREEMPT Wed Aug 1 00:14:58
KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.VJLP5
Tried to flash my note N7000 with odin, but it always stuck at NAND WRITE. Also tried for different firmware but got the same result.
Here details of my Device:
After Dialling *#1234#, I get output
PDA: E160KKKJMB1
PHONE: N7000ZSJLL7
MOVINAND: NONE
Build info: Wed Feb13 16:58:41 KST 2013
Device setting o/p :

What need to be done if I want to upgrade to other country firmware?
Hi guys...
My explorer will randomly reboot itself, after rebooting it will pop up saying "Phone has been recovered from abnormal reset".
Sometime it will reboot itself for 2 days 1 time or rebooted 4 times in a row like what happened today
I not sure if this is a common issue or not, because my friend also bought this model too, and it also randomly rebooted itself.
When i bought, it comes with:
Software number : 1.17.707.2
Baseband version : 10.30.80.09H_1.10.80.13M2
Build number : 1.17.707.2 CL179613 release-keys
Kernel version : 2.6.38.6-g565872f [email protected]#1 Wed Oct 12 20:27:56 CST 2011
Then i OTA update it to :
Software number : 1.27.707.2
Baseband version : 10.35d.80.09H_1.11.82.17
Build number : 1.27.707.2 CL206668 release-keys
Kernel version : 2.6.38.6-g6dd95d7 [email protected]#1 Fri Nov 18 23:43:07 CST 2011
This issue happens on even before i updated it...
Thanks in advance
Cheers... :highfive:

This is my phone info (taken from EFS Professional). I installed shortcut master and went in radio settings. It says GSM service : Emergency calls only. I tried hard reseting / apn change / mobile network automatic and manuall search but nothing shows. Changed from GSM to all i had in radio settings ( like GSM only / GSM auto PRL / etc etc) and nothing happened. I dont know what is wrong with this phone. IMEI is the same as the back cover.
Any suggestion please is highly appriciated
Try to reinstall stock firmware using KIES.
There is no fear for wrong firmware download since download perform by KIES.
However in my case, KIES2 asking S/N, not IMEI. On video he is using KIES3. Of course, you need active internet connection.
You can find imei & S/N under battery.
