Sorry to start a whole thread over this question, but I am looking for one of the above recoveries for my Note pro (P-900) and haven't had much luck. Anybody know of either of them? Thanks...
Neither one has been developed for the P900.

TWRP is available, why do you need a different recovery?

Couldn't get TWRP to work on my P907a. As far as I know there are none for the US AT&T model. Right?
Have you tried this one?

Tried that one and the newer version, both with ODIN and zip installs. No luck. ODIN always fails and zip install always encounter problems and always boots back into stock recovery (whether I let it reboot fully or boot straight into recovery mode). Thanks for the help though.

I know with the last cwm update there was a problem where once you were in recovery you couldn't get out of it, it just kept booting recovery. Do you know if that was fixed in the latest version?
I don't know what you mean; with every version of CWM I have used, including this one, when you say reboot system, it reboots regularly.
Re: [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Touch Recovery 6.0.3.0
No chocolate is right. There was a version of cwm that did what he stated. I believe it was the latest version or one of them.

Sorry, I must not have used the last one. But no, when you tell this one to reboot, it does.

thanks, yeah it was 6.0.2.9. It was a big pain, I'm just trying to make sure this one is kosher before I go through that whole thing again
I just flashed it and it seems to be running just fine. It appears you can now sideload zips to flash, but as far as the TrueDualBoot, I can't seem to find anything that seems remotely close to that. Too bad. I'd love to be able to set up a dual boot on this phone, that sounds like it would be really cool.

I had this with TWRP once. The way around it is boot into download and press the volume button for "cancel" or reboot.
Battery removed didn't help at all. Well, only to get into download mode.

v6.0.2.9 is the bad one. I know, because I flashed that one and was stuck in Recovery loop. CWM Touch v6.0.3.0 works just fine. I know, because I'm using this one right now.

I not able to choose other network operators after Flashing PAC-Man rom (22.4.0). I just get "Error while searching for networks" I had no problems with stock or CM Roms. Any suggestions?

To be honest, many people have reported problems with TWRP 2.5.0.0. I too have reverted to 2.3.3.0 to avoid possible problems. Maybe you can give it a try.

There are many options. Use this one and flash in odin. I assume you know what that is since you're rooted. You could also use twrp recovery but I think cwm is easier to use for someone newer to custom recovery

Not a big deal. The point is its the easiest one to get started. Once installed CWM will ask to update to a newer version that will support it. Install with odin.

Pretty close to the same thing but Philz touch is gonna have more advanced options included that most dont use. Also going to have touch also which means instead of using the volume keys to navigate and power button to slect it is simply touch based.

For my personal expirience the CWM recovery is better then others, I never have had compatibility issues with this one

It doesn't work on any Rom. It's completely independent.

As already said, It's independent.
But. I assume that you flash recovery using apps like Flashify or Goo im, right?

I flash via fastboot as well. I was trying to say that if he is concerned about compatibility is because he maybe uses goo im instead of fastboot method.
So, if he used fastboot instead of apps, he wouldn't have that confusion.
Hello guys.
I am new here so please don't mind the mistakes. Ok so I am kinda noob here.
I've been facing this problem since two months. Whatever i try i am unable to flash a custom rom on my Galaxy tab 2 p3100.
I have tried different roms , different recoveries but every single time i end up with status 7 error. I have been successfully flashing roms on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos. I've tried everything with this device. Please help !!

Status 7 is when your recovery is outdated and can't flash the current firmware (needs updated recovery).
Can you tell me which recovery are you using and its version?
