Does twrp ver 2.7.0.0 work on a 4.4.3 rom ?
Has anyone tried it?
is there any problem؟
plz

It doesn't work on any Rom. It's completely independent.

As already said, It's independent.
But. I assume that you flash recovery using apps like Flashify or Goo im, right?

Or fastboot, that's what I'd use.

I flash via fastboot as well. I was trying to say that if he is concerned about compatibility is because he maybe uses goo im instead of fastboot method.
So, if he used fastboot instead of apps, he wouldn't have that confusion.

Use EZ Recovery from the market to flash your recoveries.
Use an app called EZ-Recovery

Well you can but rom manager can be flaky. Plus I don't believe that version supports kexec so you could end up in an unbootable state if you accidentally flash a rom that still uses the older method.

Thanks everyone but I didn't use kexecI don't believe I rooted using easy method and then unlock vis app just bought s3today
If it helps at all and if you're still trying to decide whether to use EZ-Recovery or not, I'm using Rom Manager and boots into CWM no problem. I used it to install the alpha 2 CM10 that was posted yesterday.
Yeah you'll run into serious problems if you use Rom Manager and accidently flash a kexec based rom, but if you're smart about it you should be fine.
Rom Manager kept crashing on me every time I tried to install CWM through it

Performane wise it is good, but battery has been a big problem for me, as the stock 4.1.1 sojuk was way good in battery performance..
My phone has TWRP recovery and I have the official stock .zip file for my phone (Nexus S M200)...
The question is that flashing firmware via recovery is recommended or not? Will i brick my phone or what? Will my phone work perfect after flashing stock firmware via twrp? I dont want to use the fastboot method pls...

There are few stock ROMs in development thread which are flashable via twrp/cwm, you'll not gonna loose your recovery.

Though, I found the official stock rom in .zip format (100% confirmed)... should I use this ROM for flashing? Loosing recovery or root doesnt matter... i can get that back anytime...

Just flash it via TWRP if that's more convenient for you.

I quoted just one question and i answered straight. Besides, your phone won't work perfect if it's bricked lol.
So yea, that question and that answer is sufficient for you to calm down and JUST FLASH IT. :good:

[Q] problem going from 4.3 to 4.4

I have tried a few different 4.4.x builds (kitkat) and all the flashes failed so i had to go back to a 4.3 build. Any idea what i am doing wrong? Never had a flash fail until i went to 4.4.x.
Thank you!

Sorry man, but i am new to this stuff, bare with me. Recovery? Is that the program i use to flash ROMS and other things to my phone? I have the Team Win Recovery Project and i hate it. I read that i need to update this before i flash so i did and it still happened. I want to delete the Team Win Recovery Project and go back to Clockwork Mod (i think its called). Any idea how to do this?
Download flashify from play store and use it. It will let you download and flash either recovery. There's a variety of other apps and ways as well. In all honesty though, if you're using the latest version of twrp then you shouldn't have a problem flashing if you're trying the appropriate roms for your phone.

There are many options. Use this one and flash in odin. I assume you know what that is since you're rooted. You could also use twrp recovery but I think cwm is easier to use for someone newer to custom recovery
Can I use mobile Odin?

Not a big deal. The point is its the easiest one to get started. Once installed CWM will ask to update to a newer version that will support it. Install with odin.

Pretty close to the same thing but Philz touch is gonna have more advanced options included that most dont use. Also going to have touch also which means instead of using the volume keys to navigate and power button to slect it is simply touch based.

[Q] Clockwork mod / Philz touch recoveries

Sorry to start a whole thread over this question, but I am looking for one of the above recoveries for my Note pro (P-900) and haven't had much luck. Anybody know of either of them? Thanks...
Neither one has been developed for the P900.

Couldn't get TWRP to work on my P907a. As far as I know there are none for the US AT&T model. Right?
Have you tried this one?

Tried that one and the newer version, both with ODIN and zip installs. No luck. ODIN always fails and zip install always encounter problems and always boots back into stock recovery (whether I let it reboot fully or boot straight into recovery mode). Thanks for the help though.
