[Completed] I am using software es file explorer. how to decrypt images without password? - XDA Assist

I am using software es file explorer in my Android phone. it can encode (encrypt) any file, image or videos in this software by a password. I forgot my password and without password I cant decode my file. Is there any solution that I can decode my files without knowing the password?

Hi
Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Unfortunately that's the entire concept of encryption; you don't know the password, you can't see the content of the file. A search around on your behalf hasn't yielded any results so I'm sorry to say but I think you're fresh out of luck in this case.

How do I open Bookmarks in File Explorer/Total Commander? {WinMo 6.1 issue}

Ooops, I am aware of the accidental double post, please delete it
Hello, I have tried EVERYTHING.
I have tried putting down the parameters you guys gave me and even using the registry change cab, I've tried Xperia Tweak, I've tried J.S. Advanced Config, I even used a registry editor myself to fix my file associations problem.
But it is impossible for me to open the bookmark aka URL file.
Can someone help me?
Is my only way to make URL files open via PIE or Opera Browser is to reformat and hardware reset my phone?
Can someone please give step by step guide to do this. Someone has helped me before but it seemed to do nothing.
When I click on any url file, it brings me to the associated browser but than it brings me to an error page, WHY DOES IT NOT BRING ME TO THE ONLINE WEBSITE?
People please tell me that it is possible to open saved/bookmarked links on a phone's file explorer!
Is it possible?
BUMP, Is it possible?
Can someone just tell me what happens when they open a url file? because it takes me two hours to reformat and setup my phone.
Bump? (please tell me if it is illegal for bumping)
I am still waiting for an answer LOL.

[Q] Help to decode a phonebook file from A1000

Hi,
I have a Motorola A1000 that has definitely failed.
Before it had broken, I had downloaded the phonebook with all my contact numbers.
I wish to retrieve the phone numbers, but it is a binary file that cannot be read by any normal editor (ASCII editor, winword, excel).
I can see the numbers and the names of the contacts, but they're mixed in an unreadable mess.
The file is a file named 297.dat. It is one of many .dat files that I downloaded from the A1000.
It is impossible to read it with the cable SW that I used to manage the phone. The programs rejects any operation if the phone is not connected, and refuses to read the backup copy of the phone files.
Can somebody help me?
I desperatly need to retrieve my phonebook numbers.
Best regards
Alberto
Have you tried using a hex editor to manually pull the numbers and enter them into a new phone or just a text file? If you could post the file someone here might be able to help you if you can't on your own.
Here is the file
Hi,
I have opened it with ultraedit, but I cannot understand the rule by which the number and the names are associated between them.
I attach the (zipped) binary file. If somebody wishes to exercise his skill in decoding and decrypting, I'll be very grateful!!

Find cached files?

Hey
So i just got the Blizzard Authenticator from the Android Market, i know it's storing an xml file that has a token and some other information, i was wondering if there is any way i can find out where that file might be?
I want to find the file, because in that way i can sync the key between my computer and phone
Cheers
-Jazerix
It would most likely be in /data/data/package name/shared_prefs, where package name is the name of the apk (probably something like com.blizzard.authenticator).
Thanks for your reply, but when i check out the data folder, it's completetly empty
Is there any other way i can trace the file path?
P.S. i'm using a Nexus S with CyanogenMod
Edit: I'm able to find something on the SD Card (/sdcard/Android/data), but there is no file regarding the mobile authenticator
Ok, so i just bought Root Explorer, and the folder is no longer empty cheers, found the files ^^

XML database for Android apps

Did anyone used before a local XML file as a database for a android app?
I am trying to build a app with flash using a xml file as database, to read the xml from a external file from the local directory isn't a problem, the problem is how to write data from flash to the xml file.
If used or know some tutorials guides that can help me please leave a reply.
Thank you!
