I am new to this forum, but i have an application car-net which do not longer work after i upgraded to lollipop on my htc m8
The application is car-net
I have heard it work on other phones after they have upgraded to lollipop so i dont think its related to the version lollipop iself, maybe it htc version of lollipop
I use this application daily so maybe someone here in the forum can help me solve the problem

Hey ,i bought the htc one m7 may 2013..a year and a half ago and since then,when i go to update software it says there's no update found,i'm still stuck on android 4.1.2..they told me that i should change the device's RUU to wwe ...anyon3 have a clue about the problem ,please help me to solve it..and thank you..

How do I restore my HTC One M8 to the latest stock everything. (OS, firmware, android version, everything)
I'm not a total newbie in rooting and recoveries, but I just can't seem to find the difference between ROMS and firmware.
Here's what happened:
I was running 4.4.3 rooted on my M8, and then I flashed the MaximusHD ROM (because it had 4.4.4) So I thought, why do the OTA update and then install a ROM when I can just simply install a ROM that already has 4.4.4 installed. What happened then was I lost the ability to turn on wifi, which confused me.
On their post someone wrote that you need to update the firmware or else the wifi wouldn't work. This all got me extremely confused, so I tried to switch on a different ROM to see if the problem would be solved.
I switched over to Android Revolution 21.0, which is what I'm currently stuck on. So I just want to go back to stock HTC firmware and os or whatever it's called.
Here's some info about my device:
HTC One M8, international europe edition, unlocked
Android version: 4.4.4
Software number: 3.28.401.7
I can also add Kernel version, baseband version and build number, but are these necessary?

A few weaks ago I read a news about outrolling Android Lollipop. In this article there also was the information that it maybe as well would run on older devices caused of lower hardware-requirements of Android 5.0. Htc hasn't given much information yet. So what do you think, will our ONE SV get Lollipop (official or dev-version/ported)?
I don't think HTC will bring us the official version but isn't anybody able to port it? Would be a great project.

mmm i think we will never see other improvements in software... upgrading to kitkat was also possible but HTC didn't released and i believe it's a number matter: those who bought HTC one sv aren't too many...

and of the not too many.. none were developers that stayed with it.. personally.. im thinking new phone in 2015 and passing my one sv down to my 6 year old

are you serious? the screenshot on that site are from skydragon rom on htc one m8 and they are edited + links & video are fake.
probably it's better to close this thread as we all know that there will NOT be any further update for this device.
it's a waste of time doing these searches on web.

Yesterday i have bought new M8, until the upgrading 5.0.1, wifi worked fine. After the 5.0.1 all things goes wrong i cannot connect internet via wifi.
How can i fix these problem without rooting ?
Do i have to wait update from htc ? or should i return my device within 7 days.
