I usually check once a week to see if the My Verizon app has been updated, but I cannot find it... I am on Ginger Remix so maybe I can't see it because of that? Can someone with froyo check?
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk
I am completely stock and havent been able to find it for several days. I am guessing it has been updated in the market as not being available for the Thunderbolt since it did not work on our phone anyway.
Droid-life.com has a working version.

The salient question is why would Verizon block owners of their flagship phone (okay, maybe the Droid Charge is that now, with the "Droid" branding") from the app at all, let alone for so long. Damn phone's been on the market for 10 weeks now and still no TB-compatible MyVerizon app. Very weird.
Look here at Post #6. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14277108
The release is a verizon apk, however they have not released it because they do not want LTE users usage to be changed by having their current usage easily accessible. It will help them price out the tiered plans that we are getting this summer.
Did you really just post a link to this thread IN this thread?

Well its not compatible based on their laziness. So it is easier to hide it because some people don't read.

Uhm no... Usage is just as easily accessible without the app. The same number of steps as if you are checking on WiFi. From what I have read it works on the other 4G devices but the bolt. If they are doing what you are saying then they should not have theirs working either.

Wow, I've never seen that done before! Thats what he's been waiting over three years to do for his first post?
Okay so I have two Google accounts and I'd like to consolidate my apps and such to my one main account. I've googled the interwebs for this and have not found a solution. Is there a way to delete one account and be able to retain my apps or do I loose everything when I delete the account associated with my phone? Thanks in advance for your help.
Update 1: I did more digging around on the interwebs and found a solution at this link: http://www.sleetherz.com/2011/05/how-to-change-gmail-account-on-android-market-without-factory-reset/
Update 2: It seems that this is merely a temporary fix. This method only removes the account from your phone with having to do a factory reset. So if you're looking to sell your phone or just want to remove the account in general from the phone, this will be the best method. Removing the entire account from google servers is something that hopefully google will figure out.
So easy and fast. Hopefully this will help anyone else that had this as a question/issue.

Silly question, I've bought an app and since I will be upgrading soon, is that app transferable from one android phone to another? I figured it would be since it was purchased under my gmail account. Just need some clarification. Also, I have to get my post count up so I can post in the dev forums!!

Yes. As soon as you sign in to your Google account from the other phone, it will be available to you again for no charge via playstore.

They can also be on multiple devices at once. I have my Thunderbolt as my main phone and also an inactive Incredible that I use on wifi to test neat stuff like CM10 (Jelly Bean is awesome by the way) and i have a lot of the same apps on both of them, particularly Titanium Backup Pro. Google has made it really easy to continue using the stuff you buy...as it should be.

Which CM10 are you using on the Incredible, I'm getting one from someone at work tomorrow. So it'd be cool to not have to either flash different ones or read a lot of comments.

I downloaded Swiftkey. I used the trial version about six months ago and totally loved it. I may try swype if there is a free version and see what the differences are. Thanks for your recommendation!

Close the app, reset the permission in SU, open the Verizon app and if it does it again, take a screen shot and put it up here. I would have to see proof. If Verizon is doing that, then Idk maneeeee, that sounds fuked up.
Edit: you did it! Ahhhh mannnn in on thread of the year....

There was a discussion about this in the s4 forums a while back. Just say no, or change the setting supersu to deny if you're really unsure. Personally, I don't care... They won't look at anything anyway.

I'm convinced that they are fishing for the number of rooted devices. It doesn't matter whether you grant it root or not. They want to know who is rooted. If it can ask for SU, it can report back that you have it and are rooted.
What I am more concerned with is why they want to know!

Yep.
I'm going to freeze the app.
I suspect they want to collect data on rooted devices and tethering.
Just disable the app, before it can ask.

I get failed to connect to forum please contact forum administrator along those lines. It seems to be getting slightly better but it still bad. If I keep refreshing a lot I can load the pages.. But it sucks because I know it's not on our side, almost certainly with XDA. I changed my IP just in case by spoofing my Mac on my router but still nothing. Other forums work well. It's unfortunately a big problem that only a handful of us are experiencing. Waiting game til someone hears our cries for help I suppose.

Thank you good sir. Didn't know that was there even after looking I'll admit. So it seems like a lot of other people are having the same problem. It definitely makes dealing with something easier when you're not the only one and saves from having to troubleshoot.
Edit : can confirm its something between XDA and our ISPs.
The problem I described happens on Xfinity Comcast Internet.
However, the problem does not occur at all on LTE T-Mobile.
