First of all, I'm sorry if that's the wrong section. BTW, I'm looking for a way to get a notification when my battery is fully charge, so that I can know when I can take my phone. I'm running ElementalX on 5.0.1. Thanks in advance!
You should be able to do that with tasker. Maybe you need auto notification, too. With tasker you can easily do something checking your battery charge status. Don't know if you can send a notification.... So that autonotification will help you

Hi guys,
Is there a way to disable the flashing orange low battery notification? It's actually quite annoying .
Thank you.
The best you can do is to ask it not to explicitly notify you when the battery is critically low through the Power option in the Settings, at which point, the LED starts blinking only below 10%.
I don't think you can do much better without flashing a ROM.
I have a Verizon W Droid Incredible rooted. I installed the ROM from one of the developers on this site:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1260994#
My phone works great and I'm very happy... kudos to Jermaine151
Only two questions,
1) i'm not a heavy user and my phone stay on my desk all the time and I check e-mail 4-5 times a day and the battery last only 5-6 hours,
I read on this site and others that my radio (baseband) might help improve this issue. How do I change and how do I know I need to update it?
2) Speech to Text does not work all the time. I talk "loud" and it does not do anything... I know the mic works cuz I cam make phone calls - also, I enable spanish and the speech to text does not recognize spanish words. how do I enable and fix this?
Adroid Version 2.3.4
Baseband 2.15.00.09.01
Kernel 2.6.35.15-g55a06e5
build number 4.06.605.3 Stock+ jermine151
Software 4.06.605.3
Browser WebKit/533.1
PRI 1.28_002
PRL 52501
ERI 5
Thank you
- First of all check the battery drain using Current Widget and check how many mA it drains. Remember to enable logging, and let the phone alone for about 1 hour with WiFi/GPS and so on OFF.
- If the phone uses more then 10++ mA in standby, a new kernel can fix it.
- If you have bad reception then a new radio will fix that, and possibly use less battery.
But first use Current Widget before you do something else.
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions Thanks
Moving to Q&A
thank you BazzokaAce
I already change my radio... still checking to see if this makes it better...
on the mA usage, i'm a noob on this, how do I check this part, I installed the app you recommended and I added the widget to my home screen, I turn everything off GPS, wifi, how about the network?
how do I see if I used more than 10 mA
I appreciate your support
After you've added the widget on the homescreen just let the phone alone. Don't use it for a while. After 30min - 1 hour wake the phone, go to the Current Widget menu (just press the app icon) and press "Read Log" (or something like that). Now you'll see the time and battery drain (mA = Milliamps).
The thing you want to see is the lowest number possible.
Ty BazzokaAce
I did that I the log says...
-54mA, 30%, 3.689V
what do I do now?
You think I should try another ROM?
what ROM do you recommend?
I just want the battery to last at least till the end of the day... mine runs out at mid day and without using it...
still have the speech to text problem as well
Ooops! Sorry for the late reply I recommend CM7 or MIUI.
My tf700 will turn off at 30% of the battery suddenly.
I guess it is the battery report problem and I download a battery calibration apps
but after I follow the step: charge to 100% and press calibrate, the apps deleted the battery status file from my tf700.
Now I charged it to 100% again. and the problem is still there
Also, I found out I cannot change anything at the "Setting" --> "Power Saver" page. it all grey in there, I cannot change any option.
Can someone help me with this?
Do I need to put a new battery status file in there again? If so, can someone upload it?
thanks:crying::crying::crying:

I gather you're running CROMI v3.3? Many of us have the Power Saver options greyed out, and sbdags is on it. Check the last page of the CROMI thread.
As far as the battery issue goes, this might help:

The problem appears to be with the odexed transformer.apk.
The easiest fix is to reflash the deodex version. I need to test if you then go back to odex by flashing again if the problem persists.
I cannot find an indication of screen on time in either Usage or History under my power menu. Is it not there, or am I just blind? I've also checked the "Display & gestures" without luck.
Screen time has always been my major indication of battery life, so I'm having a hard time evaluating my new phone without it. Can anyone help?
Thank you.

Try a 3rd party app like GSAM Battery Monitor.
So it's really not there? I really thought I was just missing something. It's ridiculous that the information is not available through the stock rom.
Thanks for the reply, I'll check out the app, but it seems like there's got to be a way to get the stock system to show that info? Maybe there's a mod of the settings.db to enable it?
Anyone know?
Yeah, I have no idea why HTC would not include the "Screen" section for Battery Usage

Hell, I don't know why they didn't just use the real Android settings/power/etc screens, and just theme them with Sense.

Isn't it in settings under / power ? nevermind I see what your talking about.
Yeah that irritated the heck out of me too when I first noticed it. And since KitKat you can't use apps to monitor battery statistics without root and an Xposed module. Now I just betterbatterystats and EnableBatteryStatsPermission xposed module and I can see my screen on time, kernel wakelocks, and everything else. Works for me.
hello everyone, happy new year.
is there an app to notify you through an alarm or something like it when the battery is fully charged when plugged? just trying to avoid over charging the battery and make it last a little longer as i usually just plug it for a long period of time when i get home at night and most of the times i end up sleeping and the cellphone spends the night connected.
Thanks

I'm using byvoice2 (a handy app to read notification out).

wesome, ill give that a try
You could use an app called "Automate" and setup a flow that will ring a notification once the device is charged. I've built a few flows that do just this.
I had installed gsam:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm
which has the option to throw a status bar notification with sound,
but I don't know if it's worth installing (after cm install in my phone) again
for doing just that..
