Help rooting and installing ROM

Hello guys.
I'm new to Huawei devices. I've previously successfully rooted LG, Samsung and HTC devices, but I'm having trouble to understand how this works on the Mate 8.
I have a NXT-L09 model from AT&T Mexico. I didn't have any issue getting the code to unlock the bootloader nor installing TWRP so I thought it waa going to be easy to root by just installing the SuperSU zip in TWRP.
The issue is that TWRP is asking me for a password I didn't set and is unable to read my internal storage. I have researched and discovered that is because the device is encrypted.
My plan is to first make a backup of my current ROM because I haven't found a stock ROM of the C212B120 version I have. Then I'd like to root my phone so I want to make sure that there's something I can do to decrypt my phone, I have read that there is a file that is flash able in TWRP, but does it depend on the model or something?
I'm also considering flashing the stock international ROM so I can have fastest updates. How could I make the model change?
Please, if anybody is able to clarify this to me and guide me through the process, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
This is SAD...

greetings from Monterrey!

No I don't think that the OS present in another device would be very helpful in getting the OS of damaged device. What you can do is to install a custom recovery to your LG device and then install a custom rom on it. The rom would be very much customizable as compared to your android and even if you want to get your android OS then you can flash it. If you find any problems in flashing recovery or roms then feel free to contact me.

Citaq h10-2

Hi I have a Citaq H10-2 and it is running on Android 5.1.1. This was used as a Just Eat pos and I have booted it to recovery mode. I have reset the system to factory, but it looks as if the android version 5.1.1 was altered.
The system is based on the Rockchip RK3368 board and has an SD card holder and mini USB connector onboard
Baseband version 11.652.61.00.00
Kernel Version
3.10.0
[email protected] #140
Wed Feb 6 10:56:09 CST 2019
Build Number
20180908.JE.H10.5.1.0003
Basically the system works as expected except pairing with Bluetooth isn't working, as in it see's other devices but won't pair because of incorrect pin. I then noticed that there are hardly any setting for Bluetooth on this system and therefore it must be locked down I guess.
My question is can I install a stock version of android 5.1.1?
If so anyone know where I start to find a version
You at any time can flash device's Stock ROM by means of ADB Sideload method.
If you can't find the Stock ROM in Internet at your own then request it from device's seller / manufacturer.

Thanks for the quick reply jwoegerbauer
I can see that Citaq have taken down the stock images for the H10, so I guess I'm stuck.
Unless anyone has any other ideas?

Hello, do you find The ROM?

Phone do not boot after donwgrade to android 11

I installed XQ-AS52_58.1.A.5.530_Customized EEA via NevFlasher and I have only information on the screen when I want to turn on the phone:
"You device is corrupt. It can't be trusted and will not boot". Somebody know how to fix this or what couses the problem?
I go back to android A12 (using NewFlasher) and phone is working but I want to install A11.
I have tried downloading ROM second time and use XQ-AS52_58.1.A.5.330, the same problem. I can't even boot to recovery in A11.
need to disable roll-back protection
It's the same as disabling Google verification (by removing google acount) or I have to do something else? I searched online but did not find anything specific.

you can learn how to do that in newflasher thread.
