Hello! I tried to update my LG Optimus Me P350 with KDZ Update tool, but the update was unsuccesfull and now the phone is stuck in emergency mode. I can't use any combination of buttons, even when i connect to my pc, this thing remain stuck in emergency mode. What can I do?

I found a solution and it's working:
1.Download KDZ updater and uncompress it

2.Install msxml.msi from the uncompressed directory
3.Charge your battery to almost full state (I'm not sure, but it can be reason if phone doesn't start)
4.Turn phone off somehow (remove battery etc.)
5.Install drivers properly•Get rid of all usb drivers like Nokia, microsoft visual ++ run time environments
•Install the LG drivers by selecting the update manager from the lg site
•Disable LGE Virtual Modem. In your Windows operating system, go to Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Modems > Right click on LGE Virtual Modem and click Disable.
6.Press and keep pressed "Volume up"+"Return" and connect USB cable to phone
7.Yellow screen with text emergency mode should appeared
8.Shake the handset (I know, it sounds ... strange, but it helps for ones, so... why don't try it?) UPDATE: Read some quotes on bottom.
9.Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe (Has administrator).
Select Type : 3GQCT (I have one report that CDMA mod works too)
Select PhoneMode : DIAG (in case of fail try EMERGENCY, and as last chance use CS_EMERGENCY)
10.I Recommend do not switch phone off. There was some people, which done it and after they were not be able to turn it on again. If flashing failed, just select some another mode and try it again, again, try shake/connect disconnect, again, again....
11.In KDZ file : Choose the ROM file you downloaded in the first step
12.Press Launch software update
13.Shake the handset (I know, it sounds ... strange, but it helps for ones, so... why don't try it?) UPDATE: Read some quotes on bottom.
14.Make sure that all update was done successfully. Phone should restart itself automatically
15.Disconnect the USB cable from the phone
16.Press the three button combo for HW reset of device i.e volume up + home + power button

How to Flash the LG Optimus Vu
Procedure to flash LG Optimus Chic:
First of all you need to download Downloaded the original firmware from here.
Then download the firmware updating software KDZ_firmware_updater and extract it to a folder. Install msxml on your windows pc by double clicking it.
Charge the phone to the maximum.
Enable USB Debugging on Phone (Settings/Applications/Development/), connect your phone to PC and wait for drivers to install.
In the software window, select Type as 3GQCT
Select PhoneMode as DIAG
In the ‘KDZ file’ space, browse for the firmware you want to install. (In this case V10A_00.kdz)
Click “Launch software update”
The firmware flashing process is now underway. If all goes well, in 5-10 minutes the phone will be flashed with the new firmware.
After booting up fully, detach the phone from the pc.

1. Download Everything!
1.1) Download Both Stock Image & DLL File – Firmwares Here
1.2) Download LG FlashTools V1.8 - Setup_LGFlashTool_1.8.1.1023.exe - 9.3 Mb
1.3) Download Drivers (Any LG Phone) - Here (Verizon Only) – Here
1.4) Megalock DLL File - Megalock.dll Download

3. Install Flashtool (Don’t run it yet)
4. Extract the TOT file from the Zip
5. Copy MegaLock.dll file to C:\LG\LGFlashtool (This might be a hidden folder so enable "hidden folders". Replace the old MegaLock.dll file)
6. Power off your Device & or pull battery (G3),(G Pro),(G Flex)
7. Press and hold the Vol UP Key and plug in the USB cable to your phone you should now see “Firmware Update/Download Mode” and be in Download mode.
8. Open up Device Manger on your PC
8.1) Click on ports and double click LGEModem It may be LG Serial Port, Depends on current firmware.
8.2) Go to Port Settings Tab and click Advanced
8.3) Change COM Port to COM41 and click Okay.
8.4) After this you may need to rereboot your phone back into download mode.

14. You may need to unplug/replug phone before Firmware install will start (If it does nothing after clicking the yellow button
15. Should take anywhere between 4-8 Minutes, When its done your phone should reboot
16. LG G3 Only, After reboot you will be presented with a Factory reset screen, Just pull battery and put it back in and it should boot right up!
Do NOT Close the FlashTool Window during firmware update.
99% of the time FlashTool will FAIL after 85% anything after 85% is just your phone rebooting so your safe

When LG Flash Tool is installed, do not launch it.
7) Copy MegaLock.dll to C:\LG\LGFlashTool, This is a hidden folder so enable "hidden folders". Replace the old MegaLock.dll file if you have already installed LG Flash Tool on your computer.
8) When the firmware is downloaded, boot your LG G2 into Download Mode. To do this, press and hold the Volume Up key and then plug the USB cable.
9) Launch LG Flash Tool.
You might see a window with Korean language, just click on OK.
Check the Select Manual Mode on the top.
10) MAKE SURE UNDER, DEVICE MANAGER, YOUR PORT IS SET TO COM 41 FOR YOUR DEVICE.
11) Click the DLL box and choose the dll file from above for you phone model.
12) Click the S/W box and select the firmware file with .tot extension.(the 2.04 gb file from above)
13) Now click the Yellow arrow button on the top left of the main window.
The firmware installation will be triggered.
Ignore if you see any temporary error and just wait patiently till it is finished.
Do not close the Flash Tool window.
14) Press and hold power button until phone turns off, leaving usb cable connected to device AND computer ,immediately hold volume up button until phone boots it into Download Mode.
Your LG G2 will restart showing firmware installation progress in percent (%).
When all is done, reboot your phone and enjoy!

Can you flash Lollipop 5.1.1 (for example from this link) to LG G Flex 2 with this method?
Heads up for rooted
If your device is rooted select the BOARD DL option, if not your device will go to a blue screen with LG Factory Reset Status 2, well at least that what it happened to mine, had a mini heart attack. Thanks for the guide!
I followed the procedure to bring my ls996 to stock with the zv5.tot but it is bootlooping at the minios screen.
Edit: I managed to enter recovery, I performed a factory reset but the phone still bootloops at the minios screen (doesn't even load minios). Does anyone have any idea on what to do next?

I followed everything that post #43 said but it still doesn't load minios. It reboots, shows it is loading minios and stays there for a few minutes then reboots again and does the same thing until it discharges. A minios bootloop as it doesn't let me do anything.
It stays at this screen:
Is this for the G Flex or the G3??
And it looks like its only sprint version.

I'm having the same issue. It attempts to load into mini os and just sits on loading screen then power cycles. I tried escalating with a different pc and cable with the same result. Any ideaz

I have used the lgflashtool on different lg devices besides the Flex 2 and this has never happened before. So I don't know what is happening with this phone.

HI i need lg g flex 2 f510s/k..... Firmware (kdz file)please.
This method does not work with kdz files. There are no model dll files for kdz, and this software only works with tot and a dll file. I tried the method that was on the storage account you provided, that was for kdz files, but that too does not work with my H955. I have the firmware file for my device, but no kdz method available works for my device.
I don't know why you would load a tutorial and say it is for kdz and tot files, but it is only for tot files... Not judging, just wondering.
Any idea on a viable method for flashing kdz files?

i have flashed my g flex 2 sprint modeil with the files in the storage cow mentioned but the device is stuck on minios display and then restarts again and again.
Please help me as download mode flashes for 10 seconds only..

You are correct. This only for TOT method. If you have KDZ file then you should use LG Flash Tools.

LG Flash Tools do not work, unfortunately. I have tried it about a hundred times, with different configurations, with different methods that are available on here, and on two different computers, but it always stops at 9% and tells me that there is no connection to the server and to retry.

That is the problem, you should flash the KDZ without internet connection.
How to get Android Lollipop on your Lg G3 D858HK with manual upgrade.
step 1) download the correct KDZ file i.e.from Hong Kong Section and number 137 from the link( lg-phone-firmware(.)com/i...hp?id_mod=*41 ) and download number 137 for D858HK 32GB and 138 for 16GB
step 2) download Runtime C++ and flash tool from the link forum.xda-developers(.)co...hp?t=2797190

step 3) backup all of your data
step 4) put the KDZ file into the Flashtool Folder
step 5) put your phone into downloading mode (Turn off your phone and press volume down and connect it to USB (in PC))
step 6) Run flashtool and DO CSE flash, do not change anything even leave the language
Step 7) you're done with flashing and enjoy Lollipop and remember me in your prayers
if any thing goes wrong just search me on FB i.e. chelseafc.jb
Look for a way to minimize the lower buttons without Aksposid or any application

Download LGUP from HERE
Install the file with the DLL name in them first and then LGUP_Install_Ver_1_14_3 Then copy the folder "common" to C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model (this should resolve unknown error)
Make sure you have downloaded the required KDZ file MM or LP
Open LGUP on your computer "make sure your phone is plugged in"
ARE YOU HAVING TROUBLE WITH LGUP NOT SEEING YOUR MOBILE?
Try this....... take the back off your mobile so you can get at the battery. Connect your mobile via USB. Start LGUP, if it does not see your phone DO NOT DISCONNECT, DO NOT RESTART OR TURN OFF LGUP. Take out the battery and then put it back in.......let the phone restart on its own. LGUP should now see it.
LG Drivers: All Others - HERE Verizon - HERE
TO DO A FULL WIPE AND INSTALL MM - Open the LGUP on your computer. FILE PATH point it towards the MM KDZ.
IMPORTANT!!!!!!! shut down LGUP!
Now open LGUP again - you will notice that the MM KDZ will still be showing in the FILE PATH section. Select REFURBISH and make sure BIN file is ticked. Press Start. Make cup of tea and be patient
TO GO BACK TO LP FROM MM - Open LGUP on your computer, click on FILE PATH and point it towards your LP KDZ. Close LGUP and re-open LGUP. Make sure you select REFURBISH this will do a FULL wipe, tick BIN file. Press Start. Make cup of tea and be patient

1). Download all The Files Below!

4) Enter to Download Mode and plug USB into your PC

Normal Flash: Flash ROM without losing any data. Only use this when you need to fix system error. Beware of boot loop when flashing ROM that differ from current ROM on your phone or MOD ROM.
CSE Flash: Choose this option when you need a fresh format. All data will be gone. It's suitable for upgrading or downgrading ROM or simply use this when you need to back to Stock.

Hi,
I bought my V10 at expansys australia, and the version is H961N Dual Sim,
but the software version is v10b-SEA-XX instead of v10b-HKG_XX, I believe it is a singapore version.
Any one has the v10b-SEA-XX kdz file?
or
Is that compatible to flash v10c-HKG-XX on my Singapore version of V10???
These .KDZ files look to come from the LG site although I have not been able to verify them or test flashing them yet.

All my kdz files come from LGs site that are on all my guides. I also have KDZs that are no longer available as well for other models.

Yes, Remember there are close to 10 different models for the V10. There are more than just the T-Mobile H901 V10

I have h960a, can I install the new Turkish mm 6.0 kdz?
Keep in mind that Tr version is 64gb.

i ve been trying the kdz for my f660k, everything goes fine, except after the location and language window, it check phone settings, and after i get a message saying it cannot connect to the server, and nothing get installed on the phone.
any work around?
if you have a tip for help i would appreciate.

Did you drag that window over?? That's normal. That message is supposed to come up.. In most cases when you drag it over you'll see it's actually flashing. It says that because there's not as it's not needed. But you should be using LGUP not the older flash tool
