Hi. While I really like the night clock on the Note Edge, I think it is a bit on the bright side. Is there anyway to control its brightness?
No
No. Sorry.
I love it, it is very dim (in my opinion) perfect for me

But no way to control the brightness...
Hey I do not have the Edge yet but does Screen filter app by haxor industry not work for edge screen too? I use to use that app when I had note 3 during night time as samoled was little too bright in pitch black.

Not the onscreen ones of course. For some reason the blue looks a little dim.
Has not been done yet. But I know it must be possible because on the Galaxy Nexus, the little color LED in the bezel was modified to output custom brightness.
Someone must know!
My buttons as also very dim.
Compared to my mom's OPO, her's are much brighter than mines.

I got my S7 today, the first thing I noticed is that the whites looked quite dull and uneven on the display, for example when browsing and scrolling up and down I'd notice the uneven white background, one side is brighter than the other.
This has always been the case for me on just about every samsung amoled I've had and it's always taken replacements to get a display I like.
I went into a store today and compared my S7's to the ones they had on display, I made sure to set the stores s7 to the same brightness as mine and making sure the phone was on adaptive mode and the stores s7 just looked so much better than mine, their was a blue hue but it made the whites brighter and more even
Has anyone had screen issues like this with their s7? Should I get a replacement? Even my old phone which isn't amoled has much brighter whites than the S7
can't explain any kind of gradient from one side to the other, but there is a setting on the S7 "Screen Mode" under the Display and Wallpaper menu gives you 4 different settings some of which will give a more yellowish hue as opposed to the blueish hue normally seen in modern displays.
On my S7, I sometimes notice the white background in Chrome browser to appear a bit yellowish. I didn't notice it any other app or maybe no other app had a significant white background. If I tilt the phone just a bit to thereby change the lighting, the yellow hue goes away and it appears white like it should. If I don't tilt and keep scrolling, the yellowish hue also turns white.
Sometimes, I've noticed it while using FlipBoard as well.
Since changing the angle fixes it, I presume it is software-related and have not considered replacement. To me, it didn't sound like a hardware fault.
If it appears in other apps or fixes altogether somehow, will post again.

Under Screen Mode, I have 'Adaptive display' selected. I see a note at the top stating 'This mode may not be compatible with third-party apps'.
Since it only occurs in Chrome and sometimes Flipboard, perhaps some third-party apps just don't play well with Adaptive display.
Switching to AMODEL photo changed the screen to the similar yellowish hue...! Anyway, I'm keeping mine at Adaptive display.
Hope the OP's issue is also limited to certain apps.
Hii.. go to settings then display and turn of blue light filter...

LOL beat me to it!
Sent from my SM-G930F using XDA Labs
Do you have screen protector on? I found mine was not "very white" or yellow ish compared to other, because of my screen protector.
Anyone found the audio when recording to be pretty bad?
i find it a lot better than previous phones I've owned (Galaxy S3, Galaxy S5, and Moto X Pure)...Didn't own the S7 but i know its a major step ahead of that as well.
There's a video comparison on YouTube comparing to gym, actually to show the video quality difference, but what is unintentionally striking is his much better the audio on the G6 is.

Hello i've just moved to this device couple days ago.
I noticed that the slowmo video is horribly dark.
Anyone experiencing this?
How to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance guys
It's not the fault of Oneplus or 6?
Super-slo-mo means super-short-exposure, so you need a larger lens opening (which you can't do in a cellphone) or more light.

A couple of points:
- the video is relatively low res, only 720p
- you need super good lighting. Think about it for a moment. At 440 FPS you have a crazy fast shutter speed. You’re going to need good lighting conditions to get anything decent.?
On black background at full brightness in a dark room, I notice some white/red pixels when looking very closely at the screen. Anyone else experience that?
