[SOLVED]Rom Manager Boot Loop after selecting Backup current rom

Hi.. I installed Rom Manager onto my friends p500,it was rooted earlier.. but it did not have a custom recovery ..so i flashed the latest cmw through the rom manager app.
After which i selected to create a back up.. The mobile restarted (to enter the cmw recovery for backup operation).. but soon after the restart the mobile got stuck at the LG Logo.. I waited for about 10mins and it did not respond. Then i removed the battery and then power it on.. but it is stuck at the LG logo.. I am unable to get into custom recovery.. (power+home+volumeup).
Also, Mobile is not detected when connected to pc.
How to resolve this issue?? Please help
(I am able to get into emergency mode)

I faced similar issue, and got it resolved by jtag.
now I am afraid to do custom recovery, can u tell me what went wrong and how to avoid.
I am on stock 2.3.3

Even though the the P500 is "supported" by ROM Manager, ROM manager is extremely wonky with that device. ROM Manager is not the only way to install a recovery and IMHO is the worst way to manage that device. ADB, Fastboot, and FlashImageGUI are much safer alternatives. FlashImageGUI requires the 'flash_image' binary to be installed on the device. I've never seen it on a stock ROM for any device but it is usually included with custom ROMs. 'flash_image' can be extracted from /system/bin of any custom ROM and pushed to the device. FlashImageGUI can be downloaded from Play Store. The other two alternatives are a little more cumbersome, but just as effective.
I have written a Windows front-end for the fastboot executable called Android Flash Recovery. Assuming that your device drivers are correctly installed and the device can be booted in to fastboot mode, Android Flash Recovery can make recovery installation much easier. [Q] [HELP urgent][SPICE Mi-425 Bricked]

I have a spice mi-425(android 2.3.7). referring to "http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1888536" i tried to root n install CUSTOM ROM on my phone, but unfortunately i left bricking my phone, though i was able to root my phone easily but when i tried installing CUSTOM ROM my phone suddenly bricked, nw when i switch on my phone a Spice logo comes and then a blue screen appears n it dont go and it gets stuck there.
STEPS WHICH I FOLLOWED:-
1)Booted my phone in CWM recovery MOD
2)Backed-up my previous OS(using Backup/restore option)
3)Downloaded a ROM for my mobile from XDA forum n put it in my SD card
4)Nw went to tht option of "Install from Sd card" n choose tht ZIP file.
It installed properly for the in CWM recovery but when i rebooted my phone it stucked on tht SPICE logo,i thot of restoring it again frm my backuped up OS,but when i choose restore option it shows Mount failed /sd-ext missing
I tried this thing n number of tyms but cudn find ny solution for it .
i M IN SO MUCH OF TENSION

not to worry!!
press power+down button (while phone is off)
you will notice a boot loader with 3 options
FASTBOOT
RECOVERY
REBOOT BOOTLOADER
YOU WILL HV TO CHOOSE RECOVERY OPTION
AFTER GETTING INSIDE CWM (you have already installed)
go to backup/Restore option
and restore ..
when finished reboot
Done

I was using ICS stock ... after reason a thread I successfully rooted, installed CWM 6.0.2.8 with mobile uncle and then I flashed it with jellybean v3 ROM .. for a few days got no problem... but yesterday when I tried to go on CWM recovery mode hen my phone got factory reset automatically...... I thought may be my fingers slipped ... then I tried again and again and every time whenever I pressed VOL up button to go in recovery mode..... it directly factory reset my phone.... I flashed to install stock recovery of Micromaxa110 and after that when I tried to go in recovery mode .. it also factory reseted and then showed me a android logo with some red warning on it... I pull my battery out and start again now .... and flashed cwm again.... but now didn't tried to go in recovery mode due to fear... if anyone knows the solution then plz help me out... my cwm recovery mode is resetting my phone thanks

bro. no need to flash full Rom.. ..rename clockworkmod recovery.. file to recovery.img and flash it through sp tools ...problem will solve

If nothing seems to work then try twrp recovery..flash it through sp flash tools or mobile uncle tools as per ur wish..

Thanks, actully problem was solved after 5 mins when i posted this thread,, but i was not able to find this thread to post the answer.
solution was right there when i reinstalled the stock recovery and again installed the cwm hehehehe,, it worked,, thank you all have a nice day

Ntg happen. Open ur flas tools and load the scatter load file 4.1.1 and then click start after the green ring appers. Its ok. Now the process of rooting. Now u can easily root ur mobile.

[Q] Xperia Z stuck on black screen after sony logo

ok,so i am using xperia Z for long time...updated it to official 4.4.2 (kitkat) i wanted to flash PureX audio on it to increase the speaker volume..!! so..i rooted it thorugh towel root app on playstore..!! and confirmed that its rooted through root checker...but was not able to enter custom recovery mode...so i downloaded some app for entering custom recovery and flash purex from sd card...then when i entered recovery mode and installed the purex n rebooted the phone....the phone started restarting from that purple screen on 4.4.2...then again i entered custom recovery and cleared the cache...but it did not helped me....then once again i entered recovery mode...i cleared dalvik cache....factory data...and 2-3 more options were there..and i cleared each and everything...i guess i cleared its OS too..!!...but then when i chose to reboot the device...there was a message saying your device is not rooted..."do u wish to root it"...i chose NO..!! n den it restarted saying no OS installed..!! n now when m trying to restart it...the sony logo comes up...den the black screen..!! i am not able to switch it off..!! until the battery is drained..!! pls help me..!! :'(

Sounds like you need to restore the stock ROM, just download it and flash using flash tool and your device will work again.
It appears the PureX audio may have corrupted the ROM and has prevent it from loading

No problem, glad you got your phone working

I'd like to share my experience about, I had the same problem, what i do is to press power button and connect the phone to the computer (befere I tried to flash it with flashtools and I couldn't get the phone to enter to flashmode) a icon of the battery will appear, now start flashtool software (you should have the firmware downloaded previously) and follow all steps for reinstall android, this time flashtools recognize your phone.
I hope have helped, and sorry for my english I'm not english speaker.

After flash my xperia z was black screen after sony logo... i'll tried to flash again with other ftf but the result still same..please help meeee ... :crying:

[Q] Stuck in Bootloop, Lost my Recovery.

Hey I got a problem on my micromax Canvas Magnus A117.
I installed twrp on my mobile with mobileuncle tools from play store and i rebooted my phone.
When i rebooted it got stucked in bootloop and then i cant even reboot to recovery with the adb command it just boots and stucks into bootloop and does not reboot to recovery, i lost my recovery i guess and it does not even boots to fastboot.
PLEASE!!!! Help me !!!
I dont know what to do know.
Can i install new rom by adb commands somehow, but i've seen vids that installs bye twrp and adb but i dont have recovery so dont know what to do!!!!!!!

Don't worry my friend one and only one solution just flash the stock ROM with flashing tools. You can search in XDA thread regarding this....

not able to install other ROM s in a117
Sir I installed xld ROM 1.3 first time ,it booted successfully but it lacks sim toolkit (sim not supporting) ,whenever I try to install any other ROM it sticks to the boot image (bootloop) but at the same time xld ROM is easily installed
I have tried everything, formatting data ,cache in Mount and storage, cleared dalvik and partition
So pls guide me a solution
