I have a 12.2 pro and have been attempting to download Libra office however the tablet keeps telling me that I don't have enough storage space when I actually have 24 go available. Any ideas.
Hi,
It could be that the partition that apps are stored on is full. Try uninstalling some apps and see if it works.
But for other ideas and opinions, I will have your thread moved to your device section. You will need to register on XDA to respond to any replies.
Good luck!

I have a rooted XT912V Verizon Motorola Razr-Maxx (original).
This phone has safestrap 2.75. Recently updated to CM13. It has pico gapps and a core set of the typical Google apps we all LIKE vs the ones we dont
Anyways....
Developers mode is enabled. I am able to go into memory and storage (or APPS), and can move a few of the apps, but not many. The phone only has 2GB main storage, and every app downloaded from the store INSISTS on installing on this 2GB space. Its very irritating. The phone also has 8GB of internal storage space, non removable.
With that said, I have a few questions.
1.) Why can't I format the internal fixed 8GB as proprietary internal storage vs portable? There seems to be NO WAY to do this. (rather preposterous).
2.) Why do only some apps have the option to be moved and others dont? Is it a "System App" setting which disallows this? Can it be overwritten?
3.) Given the issues, why cant I change the memory space the phone uses for RAM to at least the built in 8GB? Can I partition the XD card (removable) and set it as part internal part portable?
Shame on Google for getting so sloppy with their software. Things like disk management and storage space, log file backups, and clean up should come and the first feature after providing an OS. Granted I am using CM, but I digress - its no better on stock on any of my other devices.
Thanks for any help you can provide. I googled, and searched on threads here. I'm really not looking to be pointed to a thread for an app that requires busybox and other hoops to be jumped through. I'm looking for information on why it is like this, is it being fixed, or is "fixing" it to make it MORE like this. Can I do this manually via adb? I'm not a linux novice but I have a lot to learn about Android and loading more apps on the phone from what I've read so far is unclear if it will work and continue to work. Some people have said in threads they move it manually after each app they load. I don't mind that, but I want to understand what makes an app declare itself as NON movable.
Thank you

This happened yesterday, I was out and my charge got over so as soon as I reached home I connected my HTC desire Eye to the charger. After I turned it on, all the Media (Photos Videos Music and Some documents) which get saved to my Adaptable storage [SD Card (I had formatted it as my internal storage before)].
Everything related to Media files just vanished but the space is still occupied by them. And the apps (Mc5, Snapchat) are still there.
I tried opening albums in my gallery those photos appear for a fraction of a second and they disappear again.
And I did try clearing the cache of my gallery app, and tried to find the files on my PC when I check for amount of space occupied by them imgur(dot)com/a/zIusp through my pc it shows 68MB. imgur(dot)com/a/wA9gb
Is there any way to get them back? Please help.
Thank You.

It sounds like all your media files are still there but when you formatted internal storage you may have reset something. It seems like a common problem with HTC phones, if you ask your question here

I'm having a strange issue with my phone where it claims that I've used ~20 gigs of 26.29 available. (32GB internal storage).
Looking at storage usage through settings and using an app I downloaded, only about 5-6 gigs are actually accounted for. From google, it seems the most likely problem is that some sort of hidden log files are eating up my space.
My question is, what is the easiest way to fix this issue without having to reinstall/reconfigure apps, lose my call/chat history, etc?
If it matters, my phone is already unlocked (and S-off), but not currently rooted. I tried deleting dumpstate/logcat with *#9900#, but I get an invalid MMI code message. Are rooting the phone and manually cleaning it up or doing a factory reset my only options? Is it possible I have misdiagnosed the problem?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi there and welcome to assist,
Search in playstore for DiskUsage and see whats going wrong with your internal memory.
Maybe you have some apps that download extra data (games in particular) these also tend to take lots of storage.
But without any details about how you use your phone, its really impossible for someone else to tell you what this is.
You'll have to create an account to post in the main forums if you have any other questions.

Hey guys, so my galaxy j7 2015 with stock android latest update does this like once everyday, while i am studying my device notify me that's the storage is full and it won't even recieve sms .. if i take a look i can see like 1 mb available even there was like 1gb available in sd card (device memory) while
The external got so much space and it's not affected.
If i say ok, turn off the screen and continue studying then check after an hour it will be probably gone and the space is back and everything is okay, i also have clean master so if i open it after this happens it says that i got like 1gb junk (it says it's phone junk) so if i ask it to clean it the problem will be solved immediately.
So i am asking do you guys have any idea of what is that? and how to deal with it permanently .. It's annoying!
Please guys reply if you are having this problem even you don't know how to deal with it
Have no idea about your problem, but take my advice, stay away from clean master as much as you can, you don't need those kind of apps, they only do bad to your phone rather than good.

first, it says video not found
secons, delete clean master, the only cleaning app that actually works is sd maid, but it requires root, if you want more storage go to gallery and move everything to sd card, sometimes media can take a lot of space

What is the best way to free up space in phone? I always get low space warning even though I delete many apps and photos. What can I do?
