Hi.. I bought my OPO which was shipped with 38R. It has random reboot issues.. so when I tried to flash older versions 22R to be precise, my IMEI number vanishes! Any idea why is it so?

I had the same thing... Because of this I also didn't have coverage.
Do you know how to use adb/fastboot?
For me reflashing the files like this tutorial (I can't like the thread because I'm not allowed to post links, but if you google:[GUIDE] OnePlus One - How to Unlock Bootloader, Install Custom Recovery and Root, you can take the first two link, they're the same.) helped. You can skip the root steps, etc. if you want. The step thta worked for me is the step where you flash the modem file.
Good luck!

I am trying to say that you should try flashing the CM11S radio file for the OnePlus One. It is posted on the OnePlus Forums.

Hello guys,
I didn't make any save, and it seems I lost my OS by playing with TWRP
Has anyone a save that I could use ?
Or else is there any stock ROM available ?
If some one has any idea how to boot my phone again, I'll be very grateful.
Best regards

Hello and than you for your reply.
Did you test it ? Cause I downloaded the same file several times from chineese sites and the zip is now working.
At the end I found a smaller rom (HTC_One_E8_m8sw_v1.0) but it's "customized" and "optimized" and I'm not fan of it as I don't know who did what on it.
Anyway, thank you very much, I'm downloading your file and I will try it.

What's the procedure to flash it ?
I tried by using TWRP and Install.
I tried also by renaming the rom 0PAJIMG.zip and use HBOOT, but each time I get an error saying that the image is not valid.
I'll try again with your file.
But if you fear that something will go wrong, then make your own backup using TWRP

After i re-lock my HTC boot loader, i was managed to recover my phone using Stock ROM.
Thanks all.
First off yes RUU zip files are encrypted so you can't open them like normal zip files. Not sure about the OTA for E8 as I don't have one yet. OTAs used to be unencrypted but there was talk HTC may start encrypting them also.
To flash an RUU zip with it on the SD card you probably need similar pre-requisites to the HTC One M7 Dual SIM I am familiar with such as: Locked bootloader, zip on external SD FAT32 formatted, not sure if you need to be S-Off if you are flashing the same region/CID version (i.e. x.xx.1402.x for China Unicom).
You probably can flash the RUU using fastboot: fastboot flash zip name_of_zip.zip
again must be same region RUU unless you are S-Off
I must start a new thread and try and collect the different region variations etc and any RUUs and see if it is possible to swap regions like you can on the HTC One M7 - obviously only between RUUs for the same hardware MID. I understand there are single and dual sim E8s in China (M8Sw and M8St respectively??) and the dual sim is also available in Taiwan and Russia. Hopefully the Russian ROM is x.xx.401.x and is a Europe wide ROM. If the MID is the same on all the handsets in different regions swapping ROMs should be possible.
is that ROM for E8 dual sim M8Sw? thx
So ill try to make this short and sweet but i need help. since 4.4.4 i really noticed bad signal issues and with a speed test my ping is 160 making online gaming really bad. ( its the only connection i have where i live to play online before 4.4.4 it was fine ping was like 70ms)
So i figured out the to get the radios say from 4.4.2 i would download the rom from https://developers.google.com/androi...s/images?hl=de
extract the file and the radio file is inside right. now how do i flash it. using Android SDK is there a tutorial or video somewhere. And can i use the roms from that site on a canadian nexus 5 my 4.4.4 build number matches the one on the site so im guessing yes.

From start to finish, skip over what you've already done.
1. Unlock your bootloader.
2. Root.
3. Install custom recovery using fastboot,
Google TWRP Hammerhead and the site for the recovery image and instructions will show up.
4. Have the modems downloaded, search for the thread here in Nexus 5 forum.
5. Go to Install .zip in TWRP recovery and flash the respective modems.
Protip : look up how to make an EFS backup just in case you somehow manage to corrupt your IMEI.

Which without root is impossible unless the OTA comes through and its dependant on the country you're in. You could flash the 4.4.4r2 stock image using fastboot.

You don't need to be rooted persay to flash a modem, just a custom recovery. It just makes things easier. If you're going to unlock for sure, rooting makes things easier even though you don't REQUIRE it.
Best of luck and let us know how it all goes.
Why not extract the radio from the Android image and flash it via fastboot? That doesn't require root, only the phone to be unlocked.

OP decided to create more (mostly useless) threads in one day than I ever have on my account lol..
Hey there!
I have a problem: The USB-Port of my Nexus 5 doesn't work anymore. To be sure that I have full warranty I wanted to reset it to fully stock.
lastely I flashed:
Stock Android 5.0 (LRX210)
CWM Recovery (v. 6.0.4.5)
xposed framework
bootloader (HHZ12d) is open
rooted
I made a factory reset to check if this would fix my USB-Port but it did not help.
Since I cannot use the USB connection it's not so easy to get back to stock.
In the internet I only found solutions with adb and fastboot via USB.
Is it possible to flash the stock recovery with CWM?
I thought about locking the bootloader with the app 'Bootunlocker'.
In the moment I feel like i am on a one-way road that's why I wanted to ask before I lock/flash/unroot something which I need for a later step and cannot recover without USB access..
I want to thank you here in advance and sorry for language mistakes (i am not a native speaker)
efrant explained all the steps on the N4 forum: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34749844&postcount=2
Once again this guide is for NEXUS 4 so do not flash the mentioned files!
Here is a plan i came up with after searching on the web:
Flashing a Stock Rom with CWM to uninstall Xposed framework completly.
Root via CWM.
Locking the bootloader with 'Bootunlocker'.
Using the 'Untamper' button in 'Bootunlocker'.
Using 'Flashify' to flash the stock recovery.
Unroot completely in 'SuperSU'.
Are all steps possible in this order?? Or did I make a mistake in my plan?

Can I use this version here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/rom-nexus-5-port-4-4-2-kot49h-odexed-10-t2507021
Plus boot.img and recovery from here:

This would be a downgrade from android 5.0 to 4.4.2 is that okay with e.g. CWM or something else?!
Or is there a lollipop version? Always when I found odexed versions they seem to be not really stock anymore like this one:

No! Do not flash files from Nexus 4 forum. You have a Nexus 5 so only flash files for this specific device otherwise you'll brick it.
Here's a thread maintained by vomer for stock flashables: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/rom-n5-l-developer-preview-t2796003
Check other threads to find flashable zips for the boot.img and recovery.img. Or you can flash the stock boot.img (only) with Flashify app.
No prob to keep CWM during the process even if using TWRP would be safer.

Stock recovery: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/general/recovery-zip-collection-t2636279 (last file to flash!)
You should have the stock kernel after flashing vomer's zip.
Follow the instruction order as indicated by efrant. As a reminder: Warning: if your USB port is indeed broken, and you complete all the steps below, you will have NO possible way at all to unlock your bootloader, or get root, or install a custom recovery. Period.

Hey all,
Earlier I had downloaded a zip file from the guide that's stickied in another thread here on XDA.
I renamed the file, and copied it to my address card, then booted to download mode and started the flash sequence. This erased everything on the phone.
What did I do wrong? Was I supposed to flash the zip via TWRP instead of flashing via download mode? Thanks in advance for any tips and advice
Sounds like you flashed a RUU
Tip: Don't flash a RUU to update if you don't want to start fresh.
Advice: double check what you are downloading.
Lol hope that helps.

No there are no signed packages. Those on the sheet are unsigned combined ones in preparation of hopefully getting S-OFF sometime.
With respect to signed firmware packs. To make sure nothing goes wrong one would have to flash them one after another in the exact order of the OTA updates that came out. Regarding the risk of a brick if I'd provide them and someone shouldn't read the OP of my collection thread carefully I pulled them all.
If it would be possible to resign firmware packs it mightbe possible to create combined packages just like the ones for S-OFF. But as we don't know how to sign them there actually is no way of realising those.
