Read this guide. Two maybe even three times, after that if you have any questions come back and read them. Also in my signature you will find a link to the wiki There is a lot of info there too.

Sony Tipo Customization?

Hello. I bought my Sony Tipo(India) a couple of months ago. I'm new to Android world. I've decided to customize my phone. So i want to know the software's i should have to customize Sony Tipo. Please suggest ONE BEST SOFTWARE for each steps. I get confused when replied with multiple software's. Now i've Bootloader unlock allowed: yes. So what should i do know? Please tell me step by step. I read many threads, but got totally confused. So i started this thread. Thanks in Advance! Please help me through. :fingers-crossed:

to root your phone
1. put your phone in debugging mode
2. connect to pc
3. download and extract this
4. run 'RunMe.bat'
5. follow instructions
6. phone rooted
You need Clock Works Mod to install custom roms
you can find CWM and instructions here
once you've downloaded the file, only follow Installation and How to use section.
To install custom rom,download a rom that you want, and follow instructions on page

you'll have to read the threads in development section for that

There is no stable rom for tipo yet......

Also get flashtool and 11.4.a.16 ftf from teamex's thread you will get flashtool guide anywhere on tipo i am also a noob i briked my phone three times before the ftf helps to revive that cheers!

Sounds like You r new in android world. so i advice don't use any custom rom. 'couse they r kind a unstable. [your phone can be bricked in the process] just root your phone and use titanium backup and delete all unnecessary apps. and enjoy it..

Rooting method not working

I have tried as per instruction given by this section, but nothing works.
Please help me to proper rooting and installing cwm recovery after installing V3 stock rom.

use framaroot and latest superuser app and select last option in framaroot and enjoy

[Completed] Moto g 2014 Xt1072 soft bricked FIX!!

I am having a huge problem i wanted to root my phone to android 6.0 which didnt work now i want it back to stock i downloaded the stock rom but when i try to install it it says meta-inf missing
I installed meta-inf in that stock from i have taken it from gapps
Now it says that i am missing md5 files
please help

make sure you add mfastboot in the map of the progam
