Hello everyone,
I have accidentally did a system, data, cache, internal storage, dalvik cache wipe to my LG G2 D801 which was a huge stupid move. It stucks at LG logo when I power it up. BUT! I can go to download mode and Recovery mode (Teamwin.)
I tried flashing a .tot file but it gives me the error "model information failed" (I am sure I use the correct .tot and .dll)
I have also tried adb sideload and it stucks at 1%.
adb push command says "error : closed"
Can you please help me at least solve one of these problems so that I can go ahead and fix my phone hopefully.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
I really appreciate it.

So here's the deal. I have A rooted Droid Incredible and i cant get past the splash image. I tried going into recovery and wiping everything and flashing a new rom but I keep getting the following message:
E: Can't mount dev/block/mmcblk0p1
It comes up when i try to flash a rom and says installation aborted about halfway through installing. It also comes up when i try to wipe and do a factory reset.
If anyone knows a way around this It would be immensely helpful, because as of right now i cant use my phone which is a problem. I'm running clockwork recovery v2.5.0.5.

Try to post this in Droid Incredible's ROM development section - you will find better help there!
Hi everyone, so i bricked my phone after rooting it and trying new ROM. Unfortunately i'm a noob and didnt make a backup before.. So now the phone is on loop mode and basically i've tried almost every guide that is out there to unbrick it, still no luck
It gives me installation aborted error message and even if the installation of new rom succeeds, it still keeps on looping :S
Is there a way unbricking it or should i use it as a hammer from now on..
Any help is appreciated, tnx!
EDIT: Maybe it helps to answer, if i write what i've done so far and describe the problem.
It's on the loop mode, which means it doesnt go further than the screen with green htc text. I can bootload and hit recovery with pressing power and down button on same time. Before Fastboot, recovery, factory sheet, simlock and image crc it tells sd checking and "no image". PB31IMG.zip is also on the sdcard and have tried to install that, still abort message..
I've tried with update.zip file, it gives me following error and the end:
file_getprop: failed to stat ''/system/build.prop'' no such file or directory
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
Status 7
Installation aborted.
Wiped cache, data and etc
Disabled signature verification
Tried with RUU, turned off unnessecary programs, disabled firewall and antivirus.
It gives error [170]:usb connection error.
Yes usb is connected to the pc and phone.
Phone has Revolutionary cwm

What else should i try ? I certanly can't think of anything
Fixed it myself after a 2 day marathon..
1. Put PG86IMG.zip and Virtuous_shooter-v.1.0.1 file on the sdcard..
2. Rebooted to recovery, PG86IMG image started the update.
3. Deleted the zip file from card and rebooted again.
4. Installed Virtuous_Shooter zip file and it started to update system and booted itself
Thats it!
Worked for me
PG86IMG should work almost every time.

Well it did't many many many times.. maybe the file was corrupted or smth
awesome lol.
Hello, I currently have Cyanogenmod 11 on my device, but I want to revert to the stock ROM again.
I have the B127 FW on my external SD as the UPDATE.APP within the dload folder.
I flashed stock recovery and after rebooting a couple of times, the update seemed to work at first, as there was a bar to indicate the progress of the install. But I get a failure to install error. Saying there is no UPDATE.APP.. which I obviously do have.
Anyone know what is wrong? I tried unrooting, putting the dload folder on internal SD, switching FW versions in dload folder (B130, B127, etc.)
I keep getting this error though and I have no clue what is wrong and searching yields no results.
Bump
Time ago I had the same problem. At that time (in my case) I solved changing the SD card, re-downloding the ROM (maybe was corrupted), and obtaining the stock recovery by unpacking the just downloaded ROM. You can try the sme way. For me worked fine.
Thanks for the reply! I will try this and report back on status.
So no thing is working. No matter what I do, I get "there is no UPDATE.APP", any more suggestions?
Try downloading the correct stock recovery. Most of the times it has been reported that as the problem.
Try several version of stock recovery. In this forum, somewhere, there's the link where to download from.
Thanks so much! It finally worked! I just downloaded the B137 FW and used this tool: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2433454 to get the recovery.

Hi. That error has something to do with the sensors I think.
read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/help/factory-reset-rooted-mate-7-t3096641
On page 2 I posted two links, one in chinese and one in italian. In the one in chinese they are talking that this error it's from the sensors. In the second link, that it is in italian I saw that in last post someone told that he had the same error and fixed in service.
Hi everyone, I'm quite desperate. I rooted my Huawei y530 U00, then started removing stock apps (branded phone). At last I changed the bootanimation.zip
though now it's stuck on looping the animation!!! I tried anything! Wiping cache, wiping everything, it won't work.
I tried reflashing stock firmware from the official site, placing in in the SD under a folder "dload", but nothing works. I try to select the update from recovery mod but it says this error:
"update package's ext name error"
Again, I'm desperate. Wha the hell can I do?:crying::crying:
Thanks

Hi,
Please check this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2754481
Good luck.
This is my first post on this website. I have read as much as I could in the forums and watched tutorials on Youtube but I still haven't found a solution.
I had Mediamod V5 and TWRP 3.0.0-0 recovery on my phone. It was moving really slow so I decided to boot into recovery and clear the cache like I would usually do. It took a really long time but it eventually finished and then rebooted. After a while though, the phone just turn off and when I tried to turn it on back, I saw nothing but the Logo. I went into recovery and there was a message saying that the system partition was unmodified. I tried clearing the cache but it was unable to mount the cache, system or data. TWRP could not repair the file system and I couldn't do a factory reset. I tried using ADB and fastboot commands to clear to userdata but it also failed.
I saw people posting that Alcatel Mobile upgrade helped them so I tried. It failed after it was trying to format userdata. I thought it was a driver or usb cord issue so I bought 2 new USBs that are for the alcatel phone and I installed all of the MTK drivers. This still didn't help.
After this I download the alcatel 4015 firmware, MTK droid tools and SP Flash tool. I got the scatter file and everything and tried to flash it but I got Error 4010. The suggestion was to try different firmware. I did that and it stilled failed. I tried a suggestion which said to use the write memory option and flash the preloader.bin and ROM_0 which I found here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=2003. That also failed.
The closest solution that I found was to repair the partition table but I don't know how to do this. Can anyone help me?
