Hey, i'm just updated into 5.02 official update. But i cant see any internet showing signal icon on network bar. Is this by default or it is in my device problem or a bug. Anyone have any ideas.

Hrazib, things have changed in Lollipop. It no more shows Edge icon. If you are not connected to either wi-fi or mobile data then it shows exclamation mark next to the network icon and in case you are connected either to wi-fi or mobile data then it doesn't show that exclamation mark. Check this link http://www.solvemix.com/index.php/android-smartphones/228-android-lollipop-in-status-bar-meaning. Hope this helps .
Cell Data issue
Well I have a strange issue, Im unable to connect to Cell Data (Opened a new thread) & there is an exclamation mark for WiFi but it still works.
It's only on Indian version
You are using XT1033 Indian version, right? I don't kno if it is a feature or bug. Anyway H/H+/E icons are still there in Brazil version. And that exclamation thing doesn't work properly. It was really annoying. So I switched back to Brazil version.
I had it the symbolswhen i updated it for around two days and it automatically switched off once and then itwas gone. Now i have just got the exclamation mark.
Thnx for help, i got the solutions for my problem in xt1033. Now in network bar it shows E/H/H+ icon. In dual Sim, i just changes mobile internet from one sim to another and that works.

Use data, then search google chrome, clear the option to restrict data in the background. I did it in the cell of my sister and adjusted.

Today I realized that my LTE signal was orange in quick settings on cm11. Also, Google apps weren't working, play, hangouts, and even Instagram! However, if I connect to my WiFi the signal goes white and all apps work against. This problem usually happens on WiFi and a router reboot fixes it, but this time LTE is giving the problems. I am really stumped here. The problem came out of nowhere and I tried reinserting the Sim, flashing a new version of cm, and nandroiding an old working backup. This is pretty urgent sinse most apps are basically useless now when I'm not home. Also, 3g connects fine, just LTE doesn't. Once 3g connects to Google and turns white, switching to LTE keeps it white and apps will work. I'm all out of ideas here, someone please help

I'm in the same boat. Except I wasn't on CM11. See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748991

LTE works, just most apps don't load anything, and the signal shows orange in quick settings. You don't seem to have the same problem as me, right?

You're correct, my bad. I can get 3G no problem but cannot even get 4G to show up.
Hello XDA,
I just got myself an OPO 64GB, and from the first boot on I am faced with a extremely annoying bug.
I could connect to my home WiFi without problems, but it just does not work. I can't send any data via WiFi - even though the UL/DL-arrows show up. Also, the icon on the notification drawer remains orange.
I updated to latest CM11S 4.4.4 and was optimistic that this would fix the error, but it didn't. Can you guys help me out please? Are there any alternative WiFi drivers I could install?
Kind regards from rainy Austria
Edit: My one is the chinese version.
This can be closed, the problem was a MAC restriction by the router.
Hello,
I just updated my N5 to lollipop and I am on medionmobile (Belgium).
After the update I cant get mobile data to work. The icon has an exclamation mark and no website loads.
I tried adding the APN settings as they describe on their website and nothing.

Does anyone else have this problem?
Cheeers!
EDIT: Fixed! That was fast haha
I managed to side-loaded and update my phone to 5.0.2. After updating though I am unable to connect to mobile data network. I wiped cache and factory erased my phone and even bought a new sim in case the sim I was using was faulty. Any help would be appreciated figuring out the reason i am unable to connect to mobile data.
Edit: I managed to fix this after getting my sim 1 reader fixed and now it seems to me that the lollipop update supports mobile data only on sim 1.
You have XT1033, right?

I had a similar problem, i had to set proxy settings to non in apn settings...
goto-settings>more(in wireless and networks )>mobile networks>access point names>click the selected the access point remove anything written in proxy part.
This might work
There is no such problems here. Everything seems fine. Little better than KitKat in connectivity.

I tried it. But it doesn't seem to work. As far as i can tell the data switch itself isnt working. Turning it on or off keeps the data connection on off mode.
Ps. Forgot to mention that my sim 1 slot is broken. So, i am currently using Sim2.
I've had the same issue twice after reboots. Then I reboot again and it's gone.
For some reason it adds lots of data usage from "deleted users and apps" and it can't connect to the network of my SIM card, it's a bug obviously but rebooting fixes it for me.
I have an XT1032 modded to XT1033 5.0.2.

Ive rebooted my phone quite a bit. Didn't work though.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
hello,
Got my first real problem on my nexus 5 after owning it from day one. I have my wifi on all the time, but lately and i think its after the 5.1.1 update, when i get to work and am out of my wifi range the signal has an exclamation mark next to it. I can receive text messages but data does not work, as i get no whats app and if i go to chrome it says you are offline. I then have to reboot and the display shows the H symbol next to the signal icon.
Any ideas ? Very frustrating, many thanks.
