[Q] Baseband I535OYUDNE1 flashable zip - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

K so I've searched and can't find much of anything.. Is there a zip file I can use to update my modem from ML1 to NE1? I don't want the entire firmware because obviously it'll lock my bootloader.
Thanks!

How to flash Asus 4.1.1 firmware

I am currently on Zeus 4.0 and do not quite understand how I can flash the firmware from the Asus site. Can I simply flash the file through TWRP?
Thanks in advance.

You can,but if you are still on 9.4.5.26 bootloader i would recommend you to use the NvFlash tool first (see the Development forum for nvflash).
Already done. Thought those files might come in handy one day.

Get EzRecovery from the play store. Pretty much self explanatory from there after you have downloaded the latest recovery img file.

If you downloaded from the CWM website, it downloads as an img file not a zip. If its an img file, yes it will work.
I wemt to the website and wasn't able to dl the img file... Clicked on the Verizon SGS3 version and it showed a whole bunch of code... Nothing dl into my phone... Sorry for being a noob but how am I to transfer that code on my phone???

Shouldn't be seeing code, just a lot of devices and their CWM download links. I just downloaded it using Chrome, so try using Chrome, Dolphin, or another browser then find the VZW S3:

if you "long press" in dolphin, it'll give you an option to "Save Link." For some reason, sometimes, it just opens the file in html and displays it on the webpage and sometimes it doesn't.

[Help] rooting w/o a pc

Help I'm trying to root or add CM10 to my Verizon GS3 SCH-I535 but I don't have a computer is there a way
I don't know of a way to root without a pc. Casual and Odin both require a pc

I think you are out of luck if you are on a verizon device because they come with a locked bootloader. If it was for another carrier it is possible.

Here you go:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352671
This MAY work on Verizon, but not ENTIRELY sure. The guy who made the thread did say it worked on Sprint and T-Mobile S3's. But this post is all that I know of that provides a rooting from phone method.

Mobile Odin requires you to already have root access to function, so unfortunately he couldn't use Mobile Odin to flash a rooted stock ROM in this case.

Can We Flash Radios?

I had an HTC phone and I could flash radios. Can the same be done with the S3?
Note that the bootloader is unlocked.
And if so, does anyone know where I can get the latest radio from the I535VRUCML1 update?

Now I'm confused.
It says to not flash anything but then gives links to them and recommends to flash one. :what:

Definitely doesn't say that.
It says do not flash an ml1 firmware package. He says specifically to flash the latest mf1 firmware package, then flash the ml1 radio only. It's a little confusing, so make sure you understand it before you flash anything.

So right now I'm rooted with BMB1.
Basically flash the MF1 radio and then flash the ML1 radio, rather than just jumping from BMB1 straight into ML1?
Sorry man, I'm just still confused on what it's saying.

This is my comprehension...
I'm on MB1 still.
So I must go here and flash MF1 for D2VZW:
http://invisiblek.org/d2firmware.html
Then go here: http://invisiblek.org/sch-i535/modems/d2vzw_ML1_modem.zip
and the ML1 radio should start downloading... then flash it?
Both of these are good to flash in recovery without any wipes.
Is this correct? Lol.

It doesn't matter what ROM I'm on while flashing either of these files does it?
I'm currently on LiquidSmooth 3.0 nightly... android 4.4.

As long as the rom is kit kat based then you are fine.

Proper upgrade path

Sorry for the noobish question that I should know, but it's been a while since I've used an HD.
I picked up a used HD on 9.18.94. Can I simply sideload 183.46.10 and run the bootloader unlock? My first goal is the bootloader then I can flash root and unlock the radios so my wife can use it on ATT

Yep, just upgrade straight to .10, unlock, root, and you'll be good.
