Okay so I broke my screen 6-7 months ago. My father's friend repaired it, worked fine until 2 months ago. It just stopped, when I tried to turn it back it just showed me the "Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9500" white letters, then disappears, comes again , after 2 sec disappears until battery runs out. I put it on charger , shows the green battery like charging , same thing , disappears appears. Btw I'm from Macedonia, so in my town no 1 could fix it. I gave it to my fathers friend (the one that repaired my screen). He probably lied us after holding it for a month, saying that he hasn't got the tool for the phone, some tool to heat something in the phone enough. So we went to our capital , but not on service where he said, but another one (again fathers friend). The guy repaired the phone , to work , but you can't call. You have the (\) thing on the phone , where the network is. He told my dad that it's something with a chip. Something that they people where I bought the phone should repair. So it only left to repair the network thing. My father goes there and gives the serial number , just like the guy said. The 15-digit number. They say that there has to be a chip thing , on the back under the battery, where is one white thing on the phone that has the "GT-I9500" , serial number. I don't have that one , it is removed by the guy who repaired the screen... 6 months ago when he gave us the phone repaired he gave us another piece, but gt-i9505 (only the screen without components on the back, and it had the white thing stick to it but not mine , but from the i9505. So now if you can help me? This is funny, I wrote so much but I hope you can help me and read it. They said It has some chip there Idk, but I told them the 15-digit code from the warranty list. You can also find it there , on the back, but I don't have it. So should I ask the guy that repaired my screen, what he did, or take it to Samsung? Would that cost me much, or I can repair it at home with applications on pc or something, as far as I've seen. I would be really thankful if someone reads this, and helps me,
Kind Regards,
Chris

OK here's the deal.
Everything was working fine. One day I picked up my XDA II off the cradle as I was going home and the screen went all funny and it froze. I did a hard reset and it has never come up since (4+ months).
If I plug it into the power the red light comes on for about 2 minutes and then it disapears.
I've tried taking the battery/sim out and all the suggestions that I've found on this site but nothing seems to take. I've had it off the power for atleast 4 months now so the battery may be gone if it wasn't already.
Does anybody have a clue as to what it may be... red light on.. then off?
Also, I bought this thing when living in Australia, but I'm in NYC now and I can't find a single person who has even heard of the stupid thing. Does anybody know where I could get it repaired around here?
Don't bother asking anyone here; just about the least helpful bunch ever. The speaker in my I-Mate stopped working; no one here was any help at all when I asked where to get parts. It may have been because there appears to be NO place to get parts.
I ended up buying a MDA II from Europe (ebay) and getting the speaker from that. I actually bought a XDA II also from here in the states that had a cracked case; my intention was to combine the two to make a single phone in good shape.
Maybe I can help you in the process. E-mail me offline at [email protected] (remove the ".nospam") and we'll talk.
I just bought my Galaxy S7 12 days ago, and the home button is starting to get wiggly, and will slide up and down when my thumb rests on it. When I went to the Samsung repair store, they said that this was perfectly normal. I wasn't convinced as I went online to check if this sort of thing is common or not. Sure is it common. When I tried to tell them that there was indeed something wrong with it, they said that we cannot fix it or replace it for you. What should I do??? My phone no longer feels premium anymore.
Go to place you bought it and ask for a replacement
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab E from AT&T (yes I know AT&T, forgive me) to use in conjunction with my Samsung Galaxy S7 active. I've had it for four weeks and have sent it to Samsung two times for repair. I've called AT&T twelve times and Samsung three times. After about thirty to sixty minutes the tablet over heats and locks up. (hot spot on the back just above the AT&T logo) The first time Samsung sent me a new charger and cable. As you can guess, this solved nothing. I returned it to Samsung. this time the repair tracking notice shows this:
FCL replaced PBA
update software added USB cable
When I googled PBA I got this forum and Philippine Basketball Association.
I have two questions:
1* What is the PBA?
2* Does anyone know what is located inside just above the AT&T logo that could be getting hot enough to lock up the device?
Thanks
Hello, I actually have a small problem on my phone.. I searched for the solutions but I am unable to find a reliable fix.. Everybody has a quite different type of this problem..
Phone model: Meizu m2 note
Previous os : Flyme 5(stock)
Current OS: Cm 12.1 (by Moyster on xda)
SCREEN FLICKERING
Well, before I start I would like to say that my phone has actually survived a water bath.. The phone fell in the swimming pool when my friends were trying to click a pic.. It didn't switch on, on the same day, but I disassembled it completely, and let it dry for a week.. Later the phone worked completely fine.. It's been 3 months since the incident...
Well the problem now is the SCREEN FLICKERING.. I guess It has nothing to do with the water damage cause that was almost 3 months back and this problem started around a month ago, when I was on flyme 5. And nope, the phone has never fallen off my hands.. The phone works fine for maybe the first 30 minutes after keeping it idle for a long time... The screen flickers even during the bootup, fastboot, and even in recovery..
I have two Meizu m2 note in my home.. The other one is my mom's phone.. And I almost update same roms on both the phones.. And my mom's phone is working completely fine and not facing this problem.. I don't have a warranty for this anymore, but I can still give it to the company's service center.. The main reason I posted this thread is because I just wanna know if this is a software or a hardware problem.. Cause in few other threads they said that this had sumthng to do with the kernel and stuff.. I don't wanna leave my phone at a service center for 2 months if this is fixable at home..
Not the complete screen flickers, but only the upper top part of the screen..
I have attached a YouTube link for a perfect view of the screen.. The phone on the video is my phone..!

I would really appreciate if you would help me on this.. thank you.. :victory:

So I recently got back into my s7 edge because my s8 plus screen broke and I had to order a new one. This is my issue:
I stopped using my s7 edge like 8 months ago because the battery got inflated and the cover came off. I bought a new battery today and replaced it myself. But when I conected my s7 to the charger it just shows a small blue message on the upper left corner "Recovery Booting" It flashes. I can get no commands to work. Ive tried them all. Hard reset, download mode, etc none work. I never did nothing risky on my device. I just used it for whatsapp, messenger, and youtube. My pc doesnt recognizes the phone and It wont power on. Not even to the samsung display logo. It doesnt even show the green battery charging animation (when the phone is off, and charging).
Really hope someone can help me. I really need to fix this ASAP cause of my work.
After some researching I think I might have a hard bricked s7 . I will buy a jig tomorrow. Hopefully that will help
