Q/A:
1) What is this?
-> There is lots of method in XDA for flashing boot.img or recovery.img without PC.But in those methods you may have to know the boot or recovery mount point for newbies it is difficult. To solve this i have made this flasher. This is a universal flashable zip for flashing boot.img or recovery.img.This will work on any Device.
2) How it works?
-> When you flash this script using recovery, then the script get boot or recovery partition mount point from /etc/recovery.fstab and flash you boot.img or recovery.img in that partition.
If You Like it then Hit My Thanks Button. :good:
Yes this works...my device is Alcatel One Touch Pop C2. I didn't have an sdcard to flash from recovery so i used flashify and it worked. Thanks for this.

As per thread title we are able to root our GioneeP5W and Install Philz Recovery which is CWM Based.Recovery : Philz CWM-based Recovery v6.0.5.1
Few things to be noted here :- This guide is only meant for GioneeP5W
- The zip contain GioneeP5W firmware files
- Flashing on another device may cause Bootloop or Hardbrick
About :This is the Philz Recovery CWM Based Developed by Havotek. The original recovery is in *.bin format unpacking such type of format is a bit tedious task. So i some how able to extract recovery from my device(Without Root) in *.img format. The recovery you are going to use in your Gionee P5W is edited by me and is Sp flash tool flashable due to image extention. If you want to flash *.bin format files into your device use Mircale Toolbox. This recovery is modified and after flashing it with Sp Flash tool you have to Root your device in a single instance (after flashing recovery, reboot into recovery and Install SuperSU.zip). This new recovery root your device and does not interfere with System Security against Root. This means after Rooting, device still thinks that it is Unrooted and Secure. System doesn't warn you against root and doesn't provide an OTA Update repair. It doesn't break normal OTA Update functionality. In System Manager app you can see their is no RED Tringale icon which holds "Rooted" Text inside it. For more info check Screencaptures, attached below:silly:.

Hello,
I have successfully installed TWRP and a custom ROM on a UHANS A101S. And now I want to share the files and instructions, because they come from Russian forum 4pda.ru (thanks and credits to them).
Warning: I do not take any responsibility for whatever outcome you have when trying this on your device. It worked for me, but everything you do is your own risk.
Now, here's how it worked for me:
(Instructions are for UHANS A101S only, NOT for A101)
Installation of TWRP:
1. Download TWRP recovery image for UHANS A101S. Check that you get the correct recovery.img for your firmware build. Also download the scatter file for the UHANS A101S.
2. Download SP Flash Tool and driver for UHANS A101S.
3. Install driver on your PC and reboot your PC.
4. Unpack SP Flash Tool. Unpack scatter file. Put scatter file in same folder as recovery.img file.
5. On your phone, enable USB debugging mode in developer settings. (To activate developer settings menu, tap 7 times on your build number in Settings > About).
6. Switch off phone. Remove battery. Wait for 10 seconds. Put battery back into your phone, but don't start it! Keep it switched off.
7. Start SP Flash Tool with Admin permission. Click "scatter-loading" and navigate to the folder where you unpacked the scatter file and select it. Make sure that "Download Only" is selected in drop-down menu on the left. Then click the "Download" button in SP Flash Tool.
8. Connect your phone to the USB port of your PC and press Volume Up on your phone, so SP Flash Tool will recognize it.
9. If everything goes fine, in SP Flash Tool a red progress bar at the bottom turns yellow, then green and finally you get a pop-up with a green check mark.
10. Now you can boot into TWRP. To do so, unplug phone from PC and press Power On and Volume Up simultaneously.
Download links for installing custom recovery TWRP for UHANS A101S:
Download from Mediafire
(For the recovery.img file, choose DRV.TEST version if you see this appendix in your firmware version. Otherwise, option v3.05 is correct).
If you want to restore stock recovery, recovery image from firmware version 3.05 is available too.
To install custom ROM, download your preferred ROM, copy it to your phone and flash from within TWRP.
Custom ROMs for UHANS A101S:
CLEAN MOD (Stock ROM without bloat)
MOKEE ROM (Gapps: no, root: no)
Resurrection Remix 5.7.4 (Gapps: no, root: yes)
To get Google Play store, flash Gapps package.
Download Gapps package here (choose ARM and Android 6.0):
http://opengapps.org
(Pico or Nano package recommended).
If you want root access and if it's not included in the ROM, you can flash SuperSU Zip using TWRP:
SR2-SuperSU-v2.79-SR2-20170103215521.zip
Stock ROM from UHANS (via SP Flash Tool):

A new custom rom
Hey guy! Thanks for your ROMs, I have Uhans A101S and they worked properly but I wanted to try something else with a google stock experience and so I wanna ask you if you can create another custom ROM (like lineage os) for this device.
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
i want to root my samsung Galaxy A7 2018 (SM-A750FN/DS) in Android 10 but i tested and it dont work at all, i got a bootloop.
So i need help
To restore oneui (fix bootloop):
1. Download your device's firmware using samfw (or any other samsumg firwmare download site/tool)
2. unzip the downloaded file
3. Open Odin3
4. Click on the AP button and select a file named AP_sometext from the extracted zip folder
5. Do the same for BL, CP and CSC (for CSC use CSC_OMC_OJM_sometext and not HOME_CSC_OMC_OJM_sometext)
6. Click on flash, your phone should reboot automatically to samsung oneui
To root your device:
1. Install a custom recovery (try TWRP (works better for A750FN), if it doesnt work then try PBRP)
2. Download latest magisk apk to your PC from the Github Releases page (direct link)
3. boot into your custom recovery
4. go to advanced > ADB sideload
5. open terminal and run
Code:
adb sideload magisk.apk
(replace magisk.apk with the path to the downloaded magisk apk)
6. delete cache and reboot system
7. Enjoy!

If you still want to root your phone, try using PBRP. I also had black lines but I dont with PBRP.
okay but how to flash PBRP ? there is no .tar file
Use this
NOTE: this is untested, if this doesnt work try to unzip the zip file from the post, and use heimdall to flash TWRP\recovery.img
PBRP work but whan i start sideload in PBRP Its write :
Code:
Starting ADB sideload feature...
But nothing next
Edit : Nvm
Now i have Integrity check failure when i reboot and it said to reset it but it dont disappears
Did you get an error while flashing magisk?
You can also use magisk without a custom recovery, see magisk's installation page

There are 2 fixes i know for black lines:
1. You can flash PBRP using heimdall/odin:
- Using heimdall (works for Linux, Mac and Windows, but from my experience it doesnt work well with Windows):
- - 1. Unzip the PBRP installer
- - 2. Open terminal/cmd in the TWRP folder (inside the extracted PBRP zip)
- - 3. Run
Code:
heimdall flash --RECOVERY recovery.img
to flash PBRP
- - 4. Enjoy!
- Using Odin3 (only for Windows):
- - 1. Unzip the PBRP installer
- - 2. Open the TWRP folder (inside the extracted PBRP zip)
- - 3. I don't use Windows, so i don't know for sure. Try to search online on how to convert .img files to odin format, then convert recovery.img to odin format and flash it.
2. Reverting to older firmware:
NOTE: this will revert security patches, therefore it is NOT RECOMMENDED. Do it only if method 1 didnt work and if you don't care about security patches.
NOTE: this will wipe your data. Make sure to have a backup.
- 1. Find your CSC code (search online for a CSC code list)
- 2. Go to https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A750FN
- 3. Search your CSC code and click on it
- 4. You should see a list of firmware versions.
- 5. There should be a Bit/SW REV. Security Patch Lvl. section.
- 6. There should be around four versions that have the number 5 on the Bit/SW REV. Security Patch Lvl. section.
- 7. Download the OLDEST (most lower) one of those versions.
- 8. Unzip the downloaded zip file
- 9. Flash the extracted files using Odin3 (AP_sometext.tar.md5 to the AP slot, BL_sometext.tar.md5 to the BL slot and so on.)
- 10. Flash TWRP or PBRP
- 11. Enjoy!
You can also use magisk without a custom recovery, see magisk's installation page

I have carried out this procedure and tried to flash tar versions of TWRP and PBRP using Odin3, but both fail.
Software is Android 10 with patch level 1 November 2020, was previously the latest patch level.
Does anyone know what is causing the custom recovery flash to fail?
