In the past I have downloaded FXZ files from http://sbf.droid-developers.org specifically at http://sbf.droid-developers.org/obake/list.php but that link doesn't appear to be functioning anymore. Does anyone know where I can download the latest FXZ for the Droid Maxx?

Has anyone come across a way to root the 3g xoom after the 3.2 update?
Hi,
I've found this article for the WIFI version:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1170760
Somebody was mentioning that you only need the
apropriate boot.img which can be found on motorola website:
----------------- snip ------------------------->
you can grab the system images from the moto dev website. its a zip that includes the boot, recovery, system and userdata .img files that you can flash. make sure to get the proper ones for your model.
here is the site:
http://developer.motorola.com/products/software/
----------------- snap ------------------------->
Hope it helps, will try my luck tonight.
Cheers

Use my guide posted here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1170760
As i softbricked few days ago i tried to flash FXZ but continuously received error at step 3 in RSD flashing mbmloader.bin.
After a little research i found that the mbmloader.bin provided in fxz is for 2.3.5 and the binaries gets modified during update to 2.3.6.
So to get back from 2.3.6 to 2.3.5 you must have mbmloder.bin of 2.3.6
Also i found that if someone has working phone then partitions like recovery, boot, mbmloader.bin can be cat'd from phone.
I don't know the process of cat'd
So if someone uploads the mbmloder.bin from their 2.3.6 then i can make FXZ which can recover from any type of BOOTLOOP.
MOD EDIT: Please note duplicate posts are frowned upon. General post deleted, as you will get more response in this forum where people know what you're talking about.

From beginners guide:
Unzip it and move all the the items in it to the stock fxz. You might get a warning about replacing files, just click OK. NOTE that Windows might not be able to handle the size of the fxz. I have 6 GB RAM but Windows still wasn't able to perform a drag-and-drop through the fxz's zip. I recommend that you just unzip the fxz and then put the files in. (You don't have to rezip it either, RSD Lite will still recognize it and will flash faster).
You should be able to use RSD Lite to flash the file.

How to flash the FXZ once applying the OTA update and get back to 2.3.5, ONCE YOU UPDATE TO THE OTS 2.3.6 YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FLASH THE 2.3.5 FXZ WITHOUT FOLLOWING THESE STEPS BELOW!!
NOTE: Download this file HERE -

If you are new to android i highly recommend reading a lot before just jumping into something. Also before doing anything you need to always make sure you have a way to get back to stock. You have a link for the fzx so that should of been the very first thing you should of gotten ahold of before doing anything. I'm not trying to sound like a prick. Just take precautions and read first. Welcome to Android and hope you enjoy the A2.

I have that and i am in some other wierd trouble and i made a thread for it, would appriciate if you can help me there.
I've done multiple searches among multiple sites for the SBF file for the Motorola Xoom MZ600 vzw 3g only, and I can't seem to locate one. Trying to recover my soft bricked xoom, using a mz602 sbf fails at the switching to LTE portion, using the mz604 sbf fails at the flashing process. Feel free to PM me.
Many thanks,
Bradon
Anyone know where I can find one? I have scoured Google.
MZ600 HRI39 is what I believe I need, I can't get any other SBF to work without throwing off "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Interface AP-OS". I've built up hope when I figured out how to use RSD, only to not have the SBF available.

Did you ever find the SBF? I am in need of this now as well.
I also need this file...I keep seeing references to it - other people claim to have downloaded it, so it must exist somewhere, but I've searched high and low and come up empty. I'm effectively bricked right now, but am quite certain the RSD method will save the day - IF I can find this file...
The exact file name is allegedly: VZW_MZ600_Signed_HRI39_Signed_MDM600BP_C_02.0F.00R _SW.combo.sbf
Only SBF files I'm finding at all are here http://sbf.droid-developers.org/everest/list.php - none for the MZ600.
Please if anybody has this file (or ANY sbf for the mz600), I'd really appreciate it!!!

Perhaps one of THESE will refresh your memory: http://www.android.net/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=32
Unbelievable that it took so long to find it...Hope this does the trick and helps others in the future!
Also, I should get an email if you reply, so if for some reason in the future that link is broken, let me know and I'll be happy to upload it to my web server for you to download. Cheers!
