@wasim7956
Thanks for trying my rom:good::good:
First dont quote the entire post.
its my post only, u can just type my name and link it or just add @ in front of my display name, as i did with ur name.
secondly u can always press the thanks button if u like my work that will encourage me to answer ur quires/issues and help me to learn.
We can add that volume bar but it will take lot of time as it requires lot if editing and coding.
Unfortunately i dont have that much time. sorry.

Hi,
install zip from SDCard
This function is what you'll use to flash your ROMs, updates, mods, modems that come in a CWM-flashable .zip. When you click that option, it'll drive you to a sub-menu, which contains the following :
choose zip from sd card - This is from where you will choose your CWM-flashable .ZIP and flash it. It is by default your external SDcard storage, but may differ from ROM to ROM.
apply /sdcard/update.zip - This is what you'll use to flash an update.zip package. An update.zip package is usually official stock Android for updating in the stock 3e recovery, or any other ROM, kernel, theme, etc, that is named update.zip and is on the root of the SDcard (not in any subfolder)
toggle signature verification - This function enables or disables the signature verification. A signature verification is to check if the ROM is compatible with the phone, if it's "legit", not corrupted, and so on.
toggle script asserts - This is to enable or disable script asserts. Scripts asserts are pretty much CWM's way to verify if the ROM is compatible with your phone by checking the device model, carrier version and the date of the installed ROM.
choose zip from internal sd - This will take you to a menu of sub folders of your internal SD card. But like in the 1st option, it may vary from ROM to ROM.

Place zip on the root of your sd card.
Go into recovery.
You choose zip-->install zip---> select keyboard zip

Thanks but i found that the Orignal Keyboard get replaced by the new one...
I polished this for the xt907. It should work as is on the unlocked Photon Q. I have used Photon Q recovery & Rom Manager since I learned it was the first usable recovery for the Atrix HD.
Be sure to back up as it is untested on a Photon Q.
Adds initd support & SD swap. All storage defaults to storage0 (your real SD card) which is the way it should have been from Motorola, well closer anyway.
This internal SD ("data/media") memory now has no purpose. You can move what you want to your real SD & delete everything else to let the phone use it all.
UpDate I did not Know that TWRP 263 fails where Philz v6 succeeds.
Just go here to get the SD swap v3 & Philz v6 for msm8960 phones :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=48398998#post48398998
Download zip & flash with Philz v6, Wipe dalvik & cache only
Oh & let me know if it works or not?
So is it working?
v3 up. No twrp allowed.
V4 much improved.
USER'S GUIDE FOR DUMMIES AND NOT ONLY...
Here you can find how you can install, tune and use the custom ROM and KERNEL. And some info about some hide out question...:highfive:
Links to apps, rom, CWM added!
1. Format SD card class 10 or higher (U1) (because of quick access, higher number means quicker SD CARD) in your PC or MAC at 2 or 3 partitions with this program:Partition Manager
Here exactly HOW-TO: FAT 32 and EXT4 partition.
As you can see, we will prepare SD CARD for future using with program LINK2SD. Here is to why and where for: LINK2SD
2. When your SD CARD will be ready, copy any custom rom you wish. Aha, almost forgot it. We assuming that our device is Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (GT-N8000) but this guide should work on any type of Android Device.
3. After copying custom rom on the preformated SD CARD, copy the recovery. The best one is:HighOnAndroid (CWM)
4. O.K. Now is time to flash recovery and then restart device.
5. Now we flash ROM (almost every custom ROM has been rooted) Wipe cache, System, Dalvik Cache and in CWM choose option Instal ZIP from SD CARD (where we have our ROM) in my case that was Android Revolution HD 11.2 Lin is here
6. Reboot system. Instal apps whatever you want LINK2SD mainly.
7. Now is time to copy Boeffla Kernel to your ext. SD CARD.
8. Reboot device to CWM, choose Install from SD CARD, install Boeffla Kernel, reboot device.
9. Download apk called Boeffla Config v2 and use it for setting your Boeffla Kernel.
10. My Boeffla settings: Power Extreme, MDNIE 1, Scenario 1. Boeffla Sound -Miscellaneous: Speaker tuning ON, Privacy mode ON
(after then when you connect your earphones to Device, internal speaker will turn OFF, it's bug in Samsung's ROM, because even you connect earphones speakers still plays.Miscellaneous tab = Modules enabled which one you want.
And then reboot, use your "pet" (device) as much as you can! Try Antutu, try stability test etc. etc.
I hope that you try this guide and your "pet" will so happy as I was, I'm and I will
And If you will back to LINK2SD you will see that your partitions is format as well as you want!
All apps will be install to your SD CARD, to EXT4 exactly said. So your internal NAND and memory will be free and clean.
Only System and Data will you got onto your internal memory. And one more thing: :angel:If you don't made backup, please, make backup your EFS folder !!!! Your EFS folder is most important folder in your device.
Everything you can repair, but when you delete or anything else damage your EFS folder you can realy physicaly damage your device.
See this: EFS Issues.
In this folder you have all important information like a IMEI, WIFI address, your Carrier and so on...
Without this will be your device very expensive coffee pad only!:crying:
I've been in this hell-like situation and without Linux and Android knowledge I should be without my "pet"...
Bye for now and again thanks to Andi for Boeffla Kernel and others developer:
(Zedomax for CWM Recovery, Mike1986. for his Android Revolution ROM, Bulent Akpinar for LINK2SD, Kalagas for great themes)
Peter from Czech republic :highfive:
P.S. If you got some question about any from this guide, ask me. Everything has been 1000x tried and said. But here you got 10 in 1
Hello friends, today I am here to provide you a more stable and faster version of custom ROM which is based on stock ROM
Please do note that I have removed the Bloatwares already INCLUDING music and video player. So be ready with your apps in your currrent ROM backed up already...
However this ROM does have Google Play Store and Google Play Services installed by default so that you can install all your apps you want and for consistency!
Do the following before installing this ROM:
If your phone already has a ROM installed by default, then it should have all apps and its updates. So back up all that apps to your SD card.
Now backup all your important data in your phone's internal SD card, contacts etc....
You need to have the custom recovery installed to install this ROM. So install the ClockWorkMod recovery.
Now download the ROM from here
Now proceed the steps below
Copy the .zip files to root of SD card and not into some folder
Now wipe data and factory reset
Go to Advanced=>Wipe Dalvik cache
Press back button and choose install ZIP file
Choose install from SD card and locate that downloaded .zip file
Confirm YES
The ROM installation should begin now
Wait for it to complete
After it completes, Choose reboot system
Wait for the mobile to reboot(First boot takes a while which is completely normal)
You should see the home screen now!
Congratulations! You have installed the ROM successfully

Micromax Unite 2 comes with 0.89 GB of phone storage for apps installation. 0.89 GB is not enough for apps. We can increase this memory by data repartition.
You need:
1. CWM recovery (Flashing guide)
2. EBRs (Download any one zip file from below link, also download stock partition file)
a) For Jellybean 4 GB ROM (Download)
b) For Kitkat 4 GB ROM (Download)
c) For Jellybean 8 GB ROM (Download)
d) For Kitkat 8 GB ROM (Download)
3. Micromax Unite 2 / Myphone Rio Lite
Note:
Internal memory = Total ROM - ( 1.44 GB + apps memory)
If ROM is 8 GB and phone memory is 2.5 GB then internal memory will be 4 GB.
Make Backups before flashing:
1. Recovery backup (Guide)
NOTE: You don't need a rooted phone for repartition. Factory reset is required after flashing EBRs so please make recovery backup or titanium backup if you want to restore data. Install App Backup and Restore from play store to backup apks. Move all data like pictures, videos and other files from internal sd card to external sd card or pen drive.
To repartition phone storage follow these steps:
Step 1: Flash custom recovery. Click HERE for guide.
Step 2: Put downloaded zip file in external SD card.
Step 3: Switch off phone and press vol up + vol down + power button to reboot to recovery. Select install zip from sdcard.

Thank you so much, man. U solved my long term problem.
Thank you for this very useful thread. My app storage space in my Micromax Unite2 has gone from 0.89GB to 2.5GB. But i have a question for u. Now that i have 2.5GB app storage space, can i upgrade from kitkat to lollipop via OTA update? i Had previously done that but had to go back to kitkat coz of storage issues. Please suggest me wether installing lollipop from OTA will again get the storage space to 0.89GB or will it be the same as now i.e. 2.5Gb???
have u tried it yet or not???

I also successfully increased my app storage space to 2.5gb. i also have the same qn now. But as much as i know u don't need to unroot ur device to upgrade it to lollipop via OTA update. i did it in the rooted condition itself and lollipop got installed without any issues. But i had to go back to kitkat bcoz of the storage issue. I got it back to kitkat at a micromax service center as my phone was still under warranty then. please tell me if u have upgraded then what happened???
