Hey everybody, I have a OnePlus One running CM12, and for some reason, I have two emoji buttons in the Hangouts app. This happens with every ROM I use. I've tried Google Keyboard and the AOSP keyboard. What should I do?

bump
That's because one of the buttons is built into the keyboard and the other button is built into the Hangouts app itself.

If that's the case, then why doesn't my Nexus 5 have the extra emoji button?
No idea. I've always had the emoji button in Hangouts no matter what device I'm using.

It's just wasted space.
Not really, it isn't like anything of any use would be occupying that space if it wasn't there.

Well I personally would want to get rid of it. That's just me though.

Anyone any idea what this icon I have circled means? It looks like a little letter.

When you enter the Halo> apk in the app drawer, do you have Mail added to the list of apps to have permanent notification? I'm not sure how accurate I'm being with my terminology because I'm not on aosp at the moment. I do remember being able to add apps to a list which gives permanent notification or something though.

Yeah, but that would be different, because it gives you a whole notification not just the little tiny icon.

Not sure if its just me but I am running CM11S (28R) rooted. If I send an SMS to more than one recipient (as I nearly always do), it keeps converting to MMS and then fails to send. I am in the UK and on the Three network (if that makes any difference).
Check your APN settings are correct.

Thanks, I phoned 3 UK and they were next to useless. Still not letting me send to more than one person as a txt. Keeps converting to MMS, which I get charged for. The guy I spoke to in Mumbai, said "that is just how it is". Surly I can get around this?????
Could anyone please post up their APN settings if they are on Three. I am not having any luck sending MMS messages and I can't get any joy from searching the net or contacting Three......
You could use a different messaging app, like Slide Messaging, you can turn off the feature that converts group messages to mms.

Install android download manager and see if that works. I use that only now cuz it is able to download using multiple streams and make it faster.
I know it's not an answer to your problem, but maybe a good work around?
Cheers

It probably has something to do with switching between file systems (EXT4, F2FS). I'd say wipe your device completely, flash the fastboot images, and stop messing with experimental file systems (F2FS).

That's true I didn't even know he was using f2fs lol. Maybe it's trying to download to a folder that doesn't allow write or something. Check permissions where it's downloading I would guess..

The left side of the photo is brighter than the right side!
The flash has been accidentally on.
Any idea what caused this issue and how to solve it?

This is a bug for this device when using flash on any camera other than the stock camera (CameraNext). There's no fix so the only thing you can do is make sure you use CameraNext when using flash.

Hi,
I have a rooted OPO with adaway updated and installed. When using mobile data with Koodo mobile, the ads still show in apps like bacon reader. How do I remove them?
Thanks!
Solved! Remove the proxy/port values in the APN under mobile networks for sp.koodo.com

Could you check if your hosts file is up to date? And also you might need to track down the ads websites and block the manually

Yes updated. How do I do the find the ad host list for the ones showing up. I read an old thread about removing apn but couldn't find that on the OPO

I just tried bacon reader with AdAway installed. No problems here. No ads here. Maybe reapply host file and reboot again?

Though you could remove proxy/port values so it won't use the custom proxy setup by your APN

Yup still there. I looked up adaway with koodo and turns out it does have to do with the APN. Do you know how to get rid of it?
