Short answer - no
Long answer - no one at xda is a representative of Motorola - only Motorola will know any release details so it's pointless creating threads like this here as you not get any answer only people going I think this & I think that
Any official news will be on the Motorola website or you can use the power of Google
Motorola themselves will not give a release date due to the fact it could change & they probably don't actually have a release date - Just a basic time plan which can change
So it's probably best if this thread is close to avoid pointless speculation & there are plenty of other lollipop related threads

Yes, Motorola's dev team is very excited to release the Lollipop builds as soon as possible.

There are already threads discussing lollipop.

I don't see how this is nonsense and it could be worse, it could be a thread per carrier (of which there's like 3-4, possibly more, per country the S4 has been released in).

Already per Carrier, just not under this "Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500, i9505....
I'm not sure about all the other countries but the South Korean thread is separate because our S4s have very different hardware. Regardless of how many times XDA members have asked, XDA admins and mods won't make separate category for any of Samsung's Korean models. This goes as far back as the Blackjacks with MS mobile.
If you're an admin or mod hook us up.
As much as you may hate reading around one or two threads that don't pertain to your device , it really blows reading around hundreds, if not thousands that don't pertain to ours.

Hello guys,
Our team allowed country based threads at time of release as these are actually useful at that moment. They stop all those :Hey when is this releasing here? For how much?" type threads that start popping up too often. The users may not be able to see this working, but trust me, it does serve purpose on our end. Hence they exist/have existed so far.
I just had a quick look, and most of the threads have matured into general discussion threads. I'll consult with the others and we'll review the situation.
For now, this thread has served its purpose.
Thread Closed.
Just an update on the issue:
As you people may have already noticed, with the exception of a few threads (where there are hardware differences), the rest have all been closed as the device has matured. The thread titles have also been edited as there was nothing official regarding any of these.
If these still continue to pop up, I request that people please report them rather than engaging/trolling/flaming.
Thank you

[Q] Lollipop

Here is soak test package for Moto G (2014). Anyone interested to port it?
http://d-h.st/dUo
Or could we just wait few days?
Another useless topic...I don't have any words...
No questions in this forum... This is getting ridiculous, just wait. Mods are being very permissive with this flood of useless lollipop threads.
Is it for gen 2 only

Yes. Next time read op.. It says moto g(2014)
i think its better to wait
AFAIK, the hardware is basically the same. It would probably work if you edited the build.prop for the screen density and modified the partition layout for the internal storage.
Just wait guys

What is wrong with you man? you are in every thread complaining about users and being sarcastic... You complain about users making spam, but your posts are spam too, because they are nothing useful... you just laugh at everyone. If you dont like the users posting anything, just dont enter the "useless" threads.. so please, STOP. :good:
But he is wright, this topic is useless and I'll report it cause there is several other topics about lollipop

Report it then, and leave it to the moderators. Rather than bumping it back up the forum.

That's true man, I know, but what bothers is that some guy starts laughing at the users that maybe don't know a lot about their device.. they search for answers, not jokes or for someone joking or being sarcastic with the users. Thats not the spirit here in this community.
Agree, but there is a some conditions, and we have QnA forum community can be readable and clean from wrong topics

Any Android 6.0 Marshmellow ROM for OPO?

Hi guys.. now that android 6.0 is officially rolling out.. I am wondering when you guys think we'll have one for OPO. Or does anyone know of any 6.0 rom for OPO?
Really early to tell, at least some weeks, probably a month or maybe two. Lollipop will do for now, but I can't wait to taste the marsmallow! :victory:

There's already a thread discussing this, search before posting.
Search didn't show the thread. Even the auto match when entering the topic name. All for obvious reasons. Question is are you smart enough to know why ?

Found this in ten seconds:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/odds-6-0-rom-soon-t3217188
That's also an index thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2843675
I'm smart enough to find those in less than a minute.
My thread is actually asking a different question. But nevertheless, feel free to delete the thread and save 87 KB of server hard drive space and more importantly, justify your position as the hall monitor, instead of ignoring it and moving on.

You're essentially asking the same question. Plus you can see in the index that there is only one 6.0 ROM for this device, and that's the one that was built from the dev preview. There's no need to delete the thread, I'm just saying that if you had looked properly you would have found your answer. I'm not sure why you're becoming combative simply because I'm reminding you of your responsibility as a member of this site.

Cyanogenmod for Exynos S7s

Morning all,
I'm looking into the possibility of getting Cyanogenmod (likely 13) running on the S7.
I've recently found that I have a lot of time on my hands and as I'm a fan of the ROM it would be fun getting it up and working.
I'm posting this to gauge popularity as well as attract insight from experienced developers, I'm going to start development next week (PC issues = replacement) so any help is much appreciated
BUMP!
Good luck...

why the hell are you posting in dev section ? turn /brain on
It's a dev item, this will be updated as the ROM is developed.. doesn't really fit into 'questions and answers'
I suppose a mod can move it into 'discussions' to suit your requirements

where is this question on top of the topic a "dev item" ? where is the development you sharing ?
development section is ONLY for development, not for questions around CM13 or other stuff...
another thing of CM is not asking for ETA

I give up, clearly you know how the internet works best so you have won this round *standing ovations please*
I'll be back once I have put something together...
I am in if there will be good camera app, or native one.
He is willing to port cm3 to S7. He is testing how people would react to it before dedicating some of his time into the development.
@ha3kser Go ahead. I will test it since alpha stages to help you out.

as much as i want to see s7 supported by cyanogenmod, this really don't belong to tgw dev forum

I'd love to see this happening aswell!

Pocophone F1 discord channel

So me and some friends and devs that have pocophones decided to make a discord server for it since we had the same for our oneplus2. It worked better then telegram for us and was way better structured! if you are intrested in joining here is the link MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED . The main goal of this discord is to give support and announce rom releases (as well as keeping a list of released roms + date of release, xda link , direct download link and or any other usefull links like changelogs). Hope to see all of you there
