Maybe you can help me out. I have a bunch of custom boot animations and G3 but, cant get any of them to work. I even took the factory AT&T ball boot animation, changed the blue to red and left the rest the same and that didn't work. What can i do?

Android L Bootanimation

This is the boot screen I took from Android L Dev Preview . You can use this with any ROM.
How to install:
Phone should be rooted.
Use ES File Explorer
Go to Device> System> Media
Delete the present bootanimation.zip (or just cut it and place it somewhere in your memory card as a backup)
Copy the bootanimation.zip uploaded here and paste it there.
It is done! Now reboot and you will see the boot screen has changed. :cyclops:

Hey dude.
You flashed like custom boot animation enabler? I did what you said but it's still not working just a black screen.
An app named "boot animation" is available on play store. Works like a charm if you're rooted. Just select from various animation and click on apply and reboot . Tried myself.
Unfortunately the app does not work. The boot animation seems to be in both places. The /system/media and /product/etc/media.
Still black screen app does not work any solutions? Pls

[S8][Anime][Sound Boot Animation] S8 Kimi No Na Wa Boot animation with sound

Hello there!
I'm in love with your name since it came out and decided to finally share the bootanimation I made of it. (S8 only)
PREVIEW
I am not responsible for bricked phones, bootloops and imploding kittens.
Instructions:
Download the KimiNoNaWaBoot.zip from here.
With a Root File Browser navigate to /system/media and rename your original bootsamsungloop.qmg to something else like .qmg1 like I did.
Paste the new qmg file from the zip folder you've downloaded.
Change it's permissions to rw-r--r--
(If you want the animation only and not the sound, you can ignore the following part.)
Sound:
Navigate to /system/media/audio/ui and check wether you already have a PowerOn.ogg file. I didn't.
In case there is one, rename it to .ogg1 or whatever you like.
Paste the PowerOn.ogg file from the zip in there and change it's permission to rw-r--r-- as well.
Sometimes the audio kicks in delayed but I have never actually cared since I don't reboot often.
Hope you like it
