Cyanogenmod 9 - crashing problem

hi.
i was installed the last CM9 on my samsung galaxy s2 i9100, and iv'e got a very annoying problem.
every time that my phone is sleeping on the lock screen for more then 20 seconds- it stocks and won't turn on (i need to put out the battery and reboot..)
please help me because i really like this rom and i can't use it normally with that problem.
*i was trying to install an AOSP 4.0.3 KP4 rom,and i had the same problem.
-all the installation was with full wipe!!
how can i fix this?

and how can i do it? where should i need to go to put the CPU down? by "antutu cpu master" ??
and one last question- will it help me for sure?

I have had the same problem. I have installed SetCPU then set screen off profile using 500 as a minimum. So far so good .
Edit. 10 hours so far and no crashes.

CM9 is beta, so live with it.

ITS HAPPENING WITH ANY ICS ROM THAT I'M TRYING TO INSTALL.
i tried beta 1.1 aosp/cm9/tw version/kp8/kp4/kp2/kp1
and all of those does crashing on lockscreen!!! is there a problem with my phone??

this way a only way for u is just going back to stock (or other non-ics rom) or try installing setcpu o deamoncontroller with andrev_oc (that is the better solution as i think)

If you bothered to read through the thread that you downloaded the Rom from, you would see:
A. You are not the only person with the problem
B. There is no fix at the moment, after all it is still EXPERIMENTAL!

it has different kernel and had an update. It says 10.2 had low battery drain, i want to flash it but i cant understand thier language and i dont know if that rom support English language:laugh::good::angel:

It's cool. Try it ! It's a good rom, i think is better than the Viking cm10.2 because it is not a port, it is more optimized(has ION) etc ...
They do not want to release it on xda at the moment. They will do this when the rom and the team will be ready

Had you tried it? Or anyone tried it?

I'm running it now. 3hrs ain't much to give you some deeper insight in ROM. There is still same bluetooth problem, and camera status is same as in vicky's, third party app works fine.
If you don't want to go through hustle of redownloading your apps and connecting accounts, just do a backup in cwm of current ROM and when you flash new one, let it boot once, but don't set any accounts just chose to skip that. Once booted, reboot in recovery and chose advanced recovery, than recover only data and you should be fine. Tho if you use xposed you'll have to just activate it(install/update thing) and reboot. Don't try it if ROM versions aren't same, as in trying to restore data to CM10.2 from GB backup. It might work but it's better not to push it to much.
Btw offtopic question since somebody mentioned it, what is ION?

@MegaBoyX9 what else,i mean are there any other bugs?? and what about battery drain ??

So far batery is fine. Charged it to 100% last night, and left over night and it droped only 10%. I forgot to change governor so it was on ondemand with row and wifi was on entire time. Switched to intellidemand2 now to see how it'll be.

I'm currently running this rom !

[Q] My Sony Xperia E dual is very very laggy and slow !

I saw a lot of 512MB RAM phones that are run faster and smother than my phone !
why ?!
I tried to :
1- update to the latest version
2- factory reset and format sdcard and extcard and earse everything
3- delete a lot of apps and disable a lot of apps
4- try another lanucher
5- delete all widgets
after factory reset ( after i did the update too ) i installed only important apps like facebook, messenger, whatsapp, soundcloud and the free ram always between 50~30 !
and i see other 512MB RAM phones that run the 4 apps and more without any lagg and still have half of the ram .. but my phone if i open only 2 or 3 tabs in browser it laggs and if i open only 2 apps like facebook and whatsapp .. and go to whatsapp to respond to a message in about a minute .. when i switch to facebook .. the app RELOADS again + laggggg all the time while typing
the software version is : 4.1.1 Jelly bean , Build : 11.3.A.3.1
and i saw some threads that the xperia e dual was faster when it was ICS :/
but i bought it with JB
what should i do .. flash a rom .. root .. back to ics .. please tell me a solution :/

Unlock Bootloader change kernel, add some tweaks or try custom rom

Try cm10 its smooth and add tweaks to it

CM is unstable i wont flash roms weekly to avoid sim bug
iam using fully debloated stock rom with nova launcher with zues kernel 1.3GHz

I'm using candys rom now . its good rom thank you

I'm back to ICS it's faster than JB in launcher and system apps :laugh: but other apps like facebook are slower than it was in JB

I have the same problem with Jlo.tried wipe ewerything,flashed with 2 custom rom and then was no gsm service.i retured to stock ver.4.1.2 and phone is now verry slow...please help me...

Hey, i've noticed that sometimes my full speed internet is used by some app, so i installed apps that can show me which app is downloading and it's os services (also called android os in other apps) as u see in pic

I had quite same issues but after rooting my device, i Debloated most of the unwanted system apps (approx 1GB bloats removed) thru TWRP. Now everything is pretty good. You can try to flash zip modded by me on :

Well so today i noticed that it downloaded more than 114mb for just today! And it's still downloading just stopped it by starting a vpn it may make the downloading service confused lol and it did i don't think it's downloading update there is no update and it won't download if i don't give it premissions .. it's not a nice number if it downloads through mobile data ..

Hiya peeps. Id just like to ask you experts with a little help.
For the past week my phone suddenly started locking up and freezing and rebooting itself and ive had its for like 2 years. ok its always suffered from a little lag when like typing but i got used to it. I recently wiped its cache but nothing has changed. Its always had issues with the battery with random shut offs at from anything from 30% to even 50+% ive replaced the battery before and i guess its time to replace again.
Main question is my phone just literally just restarted itself now and has come to this screen which i will upload a photo.
I cant remember installing a custom rom since buying it. i did buy it 2nd hand though.
But what does this mean in the photo?.
last night i downloaded marshmallow 6.0.1 firmware because i wanted to see if re firmwaring my phone might later this evening will help in the mean time while i will buy a new battery.
.its been stuck on this screen for like 20 mins already and im scared to turn my phone off

So my phone isnt using stock rom already? So i presume the firmware i downloaded last night is also custom rom then.. Where do i get hold of an official firmware?

It is using a stock rom, but it is in download mode. May I ask what device you have?

Ok after like 40 mins i did take the risk of taking out the battery as i'd assume my phone wouldn't be doing anything in its state. It rebooted again but still suffering from the issues i mentioned previously.
Im guessing this wouldnt be the last time this will happen and probably will see this screen again in future.
