So I'm getting this issue that I have no sound when playing a recorded video with all the camera apps I'm using
YouTube are working fine.
Can anyone think of a reason and solution?
It was working fine couple of days ago.

Hey guys at a major issue right now i was recording a video of my daughter earlier she was at sesame place and the phone was on a low power like under 10% but it recorded just fine as i was watching the video. I then looked at the video on video playback mode with even few different programs and it just plays back with lines and i thought ok maybe its a ROM issue with the video playback but i took videos of her before this before battery was under 10% and worked fine now im thinking is that the issue? I let the phone charge and still video does not play correctly sound plays perfectly but no video.
Really trying to find a solution to this because it was a great time and want to be able to share it with her. i can upload the video if needed
ROM - extreme sensation v1.2 im pretty sure

When using the video recorder and then playing back, there is a hell of a lot of feedback from the speaker, even if the recording is done in silence, like a shhhhh kinda noise?
Just got my nexus a couple days and it's been great up until now. I recently thought I was recording a video and was dissapointed to find that not only did it not record, but won't record anything. Nothing happens when I press the record button in video mode. Takes pictures just fine, plays video just fine. Everything else is working great. I hope there's some simple thing I'm doing wrong but I know my way around an android phone and I don't understand what could be the issue.

I did not see this posted anywhere. I noticed that all of my ROMs cannot record mp3 properly anymore. However Super Voice recorder seems to work with high quality. Otherwise it is cut up and choppy recordings.
It was not like this before. The video sound is broken too.

Hey all,
I have experienced no sound when recording videos for a few months now. There is no way of knowning there is no sound until the moment has gone and I replay the video back.
If I restart the phone the sound is then recorded for a week or days, I don't know.
I think it was OK before the last update but I may be wrong.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Hello, same issue here. Sony Xperia XZ Premium, all updates installed. First time i've noticed that issue a week ago. Restarting the phone helps, but then again after some time, video is recorded with no sound (sound option is on).
