Hello everyone, I used a VPN to gain access to Google Play store's different region, as mine is very limited.
I downloaded Asphalt 8, Dead Trigger 2 and a Marvel game, all of them downloaded and installed fine, however I'm unable to launch either of them and it's giving me a network error, how can I resolve this?
I own a Nexus 5 device, thanks.
I didn't even know that there are any region locked games out there. Is it because I'm from Finland?

I have a lot o f games like Nova 2 Nova3 9mm Modern combat and they doesnt play in my device.I take a message that its not compatible with my device..is therw a solution?

You download it from the play store?when i go to the store to download it i recieve a message that my device its not compatible with this game.

yup downloaded them from play store. i heard that 3g version have this problem in some countries. mine is wifi version so i have no problem.
what's ur model?

That's true..the 3g versions(n8000) have this problem, i read it before 10 minutes in gamelofts forums that a guy has the same problem with me..what we can do now?wait for gamelofts update?
Good luck with getting updates or anything. I own 13 Gameloft games I can't do anything with since I upgraded from an Epic4G to an SIII and picked up the Note 10.1.
I contacted their customer service who promptly told me each game is specifically made per device to prevent piracy (ah yes, just like how Ubisoft online only DRM prevents that) and told me if I wanted to play any games (even if I own them) I would have to buy them again for THAT specific device. Also they're not that good with updates, if they update their games at all. Personally I no longer buy from them.

If you bought them from the Play Store, access the play store from your computer via webpage.
Log into your account
Gotomyour games or apps youve downloaded
Select the one you want to install
When your devices pop up, install from there.
You CAN try to change your device language and input to EN US. Then restart your note. That worked for me a while ago, as some apps/games are region locked.
Also this reminded me of how when i recently swapped notes out, and got a new one, when the update software server asked me where i was located...i was tempted to register as one of the first countries to get JB...but i didnt for safety sake.
Let me know if this works for you. I recently got Google to credit me my Madden 2012 game because EA would not allow the download to the note anymore. Gamelofts policy is snakey at best, but understandable in its explanation. I hope it works

I try this solutions but nothing..i wish that gameloft update the games otherwise go f**k..
So I just got my first tablet, went with the Galaxy Note 10.1, I currently have an Evo 4G Lte Android phone with a lot of games on it from both the Google Play Store and the Amazon Play store.
So far I've noticed a bunch of games either say "not supported for your device or don't even show up on the list when checking the Play Store from the tablet. As for the Amazon App store some of the games I've downloaded just don't even work. They install, the screen goes black and then 5 minutes later I get XXX is not responding.
I'm sure my tablet should be able to handle these games, any idea why they won't work and or show up? Does the Developer just not support this tablet or is it just to new?

Ok so I found the issue why so apps aren't showing up, I guess it turns out I had bought games using my 2 different Google Accounts, I added the 2nd account and now they show up, but the odd thing is I need to switch between them to see the different Apps.
As for the games not working, it only seems to be 1 so far, so maybe it just needs an update.
Most games I've tried seem to work OK... Haven't really had any that flat out refused to work...
Hey, I bought modern combat 5 from playstore a while back and was playing it up until a couple days ago when my Galaxy S5 updated from kitkat to lollipop, after I tried playing the game but an error "unfortunately, modern combat 5 has stopped" came up, I've uninstall it and reinstall it but same problem. Can anyone help here?

Thanks for writing to us at XDA Assist. Have you checked whether MC5 is actually compatible with Lollipop yet? It seems like that's the most likely culprit.

Recently acquired a tablet lazer MID-9108CM, by several searches I found I find it very similar or even equal to google mid , SELECLINE MID-9108cm and Xtreme.
The difficulty begins as soon as the installation of applications not bring the play store, brings a similar which is the lazer maker however the error to download any application. already installed the play store strength but she's always saying it was interrupted.
the version of Android is 4.1.1 jelly bean, did some can help you work around this problem or even perhaps to put a version of android capable and complete maybe 4.2.2

my wife used her old S6 to play pokemon go with spoofing, after last playstore update (October/november 2020) it doesn't work anymore. she used to set the playstore back to an older version.
is there an option to re use the phone for this game by installing custom rom or anything else?
we rooted the device but from the pokemon experts we have heard that the S6 may be to weak (memory etc) for playing the game, is that true?
