Recently acquired a tablet lazer MID-9108CM, by several searches I found I find it very similar or even equal to google mid , SELECLINE MID-9108cm and Xtreme.
The difficulty begins as soon as the installation of applications not bring the play store, brings a similar which is the lazer maker however the error to download any application. already installed the play store strength but she's always saying it was interrupted.
the version of Android is 4.1.1 jelly bean, did some can help you work around this problem or even perhaps to put a version of android capable and complete maybe 4.2.2

I recently recieved an Imerjdesign Smartpad prototype as a gift from a relative of mine (being the major android fan that i am), i was quite enthusiased about the device. However, i realized I cant seem to install Android market, or google play, gmail or google talk. Is there any way i can install them without receiving errors such as the program had a malfunction and will stop.

My girlfriend just recently informed me that her tablet hasn't had any compatible apps for a while now, I think the issue arose when it updated to 4.2.2
She had a lot of various apps on there that simply disappeared. When you open the google play store on the tablet, there's quite literally only guides and crap that can install, all the major apps are no longer listed. When opening the google play store on a computer to the full website all the apps she used to have now say she doesn't own a compatible device.
She can't even install any of the Where's My Water games, which she loved
Overall it's rendered the tablet almost useless. Clearly this isn't right because all those apps worked before it updated.
Anyone have any fixes for me? I'm not experienced with android but I am very experienced with everything else IT wise (4+ years helpdesk) so if I need to root this thing i'm sure I can with a little guidance. I'd rather just get it to working again though. I've already tried a full factory restore, didn't fix it.

oh one more thing, we're in school abroad (Grenada) so the update occurred outside the united states, could that have disabled access to most all apps? I just did another factory reset here on campus (US based internet, appears in NYC) and still no go.
Is the preferred thing to do on these root/Cyanogenmod to android 4.3/might that fix it?

Problem solved! As it turns out, Google got smart and somehow recognized the internet here as Grenada (they didn't before) and Grenada isn't an approved country for most everything. All I had to do was login to the google play store on a computer through a VPN to the US and everything appeared and I could send whatever to the tablet from there.
Of course, I figured this out AFTER I spent the time to do Odin/CWM/SlimKat but hey extra perk, slimkat is pretty damn sweet.

I hope someone can help me with this, an Android device is not what it is supposed to be without the play store.
I received the phone and after starting up the first app I tried to start was the play store, no error message it just closes down emediately. I found out play store can start up as long as there is no internet connection, as soon as I switch on wifi or mobile data play store will shut down without a message, sometimes it gets a split second to load some front page apps but then emediately it shuts down, no message.
I tried all remedies available on internet, including: wiping app data and cache for play store, play services and download manager. I uninstalled and reinstalled the latest versions of play store and play services. I even switched the screen resolution to HD thinking 2k resolution is not supported. Nothing works.
I have now the following versions of play store and services on my phone:
- play store is 6.9.15.G-all {0} 3104571
- play services is 9.6.78 (440-131446183)
The problem is on the Huawei Honor V8 KNT-AL20, which has Android 6.0 (with EMUI 4.1) and a Hisilicon Kirin 955 processor (which I believe is Arm 64 bit). Screen is 2k but can be set to 1080p (which did not solve the problem). Let me know if you need to know more.
I also wonder if there is already any custom roms made for this device. This might also solve the problem, but I can't find any rom anywhere, I found in the process that the Kirin processor somehow makes it difficult to cook custom roms.

I received a review copy of the WinkPax G1 gaming tablet which includes a gaming controller, that can work alone or as a dock.

The problem is, that is comes with a very bare bones Android 5.1. No google Play Services or anything. I have installed Amazon Underground, but it has few apps for it, installed Chrome from apkmirror. But I need the Google Play store.
Any idea how to get it working ? I have installed at least 20 different Google Play Services versions from 6.x forward, and they all crash when starting up.
The device is based on the MT8783, and seems to have a pretty good LTE chipset, 2GB RAM, 32GB flash, and build quality in the better end.
How do I back up the included ROM ? And is there an alternate ROM I can deploy to it ? Or an alternate way to access the Google Play Store ? I have updated ROMs from the PC on an older device, and I do have fairly good tech skills. But I can't really find the info I need.

I have a TF101 running Katkiss 4.4.2. I haven't modded/flashed/etc this thing in a very long time as evidenced by the old version... I just use this as a photo frame so it just sits on a shelf all the time.
Anyway, as of the other day, the photo program started crashing all the time saying that Google Play Store had stopped working. When I checked the app list, the Play Store is gone. So, I'm looking for help as follows:
1) Can I fix the Play Store without reflashing the entire table? If so, please let me know what I need to do.
2) If I need to reflash everything, what's the best version to use? I think i saw a Katkiss 6.x version. I haven't done this in years so a step-by-step tutorial would be great!
