I'm not quite sure what you're asking, but if you want to deny location access just go to Settings>Privacy>Privacy Guard, then select whichever app you want to deny location access to, long press it (this opens the permissions menu for that app), then find location and change the option to denied.

I did that but somehow still uses my gps to show my location. This is one of those social apps.

Insufficent right notifications can't be blocked, why?

On an Oneplus 2, using OxygenOS, I revoke all data sensitive rights from the "Google Play services" and "Google App" apps for privacy. It seems most Google apps don't rely strongly in these background services. Google Maps for example is still working fine, given the right to use Location itself.
Now there is a notification every some hours, that the service app will not work well without those rights and user experience will suffer.
So I also revoke both service apps of notifications (by checking Settings -> Apps -> App info -> Notifications -> Block all).
However, the notifications still occur.
-How can those apps circumvent the notification block?
-Maybe the notification is issued by the system on insufficent rights, and not the application itself?
-How can I find out how to block those annoying notifications?
-Maybe those apps abuse another service app to place their notification, if so how can I find this linkage?

notification access and accessibility

is it safe to grant apps notification access and accessibility when they request them>? accessibility gives apps authority to 'observe your actions' while notification access allows apps to 'read all notifications...and be able to dismiss notifications or trigger actions buttons they contain'?
Yes it is safe. It is for allowing the app to do its function.

Apps being killed

Hi there,
is there a way to stop apps being killed?
Some of the apps, that I need to stay open, are being automatically killed in the background, even though there is enough RAM (2.2GB).
I went to battery settings or anything, but there is no option that I could find.
Any way to do it without root?
Regards

It's done differently on EMUI 8 devices.
Settings > Battery > App launch
Select your app, turn off the toggle so you get a pop-up called Manage manually. Make sure the three options are enabled (blue) then press the OK button.
This will stop the operating system from closing the app.

Might be Doze doing that then. Try playing with those settings:
Open the 'Settings' app
Select 'Apps and Notifications'
Select 'Apps'
Press the 'Settings' cog at the bottom of the screen
Select 'Special Access'
Select 'Ignore Battery Optimisation'

Did not know about that, will try it out, thanks!
Done this, app is still being closed, even when I opened it the evening before I went to sleep. It is an app that will alert me when someone is having a hart-attack in my neighbourhood. Quit annoying.
For EMUI 8, tried everything on mate9, any setting is useless to stop closing apps in background, only can do:
1. swift to apps using push notification
2. downgrade to EMUI5.0
3. rooting if possible.
What I have found is that if you lock the app in the open app manager window it won't kill it.

Chrome ad notifications

Hey!
I keep getting these ad notifications from a particular site called 'getnewsupdate.info' every day and even though I have turned off ads and pop-up buttons on the chrome app they keep coming. What do I do to stop them completely?
Thanks

You probably visited the site and unknowingly granted permission to send you notifications. If this is what happened, you can try going to system settings>apps>chrome app, thrn select the storage option in the app info screen, then select the option to clear saved data.
This will reset your chrome to default settings. In the future, when you visit a site, slow down and be careful not to grant notifications permissions when the site prompts you.

You could try this:
Allow or block notifications from all sites
On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app Chrome.
To the right of the address bar, tap More More and then Settings.
Tap Site Settings and then Notifications.
At the top, turn the setting on or off.
it's from the Google official support page

Disable permissions on android device

In our smart phone some default application is installed and I can not change the permission so any solution to denied permission without our device move on root
You may go to settings > apps and notifications > show all apps (you might also need to display "system processes" using the 3 dot menu on the top right hand corner depending on the app)
There, you should be able to either disable or uninstall the app, or change its permissions
