MIUI is android
Yeah, Ubuntu Touch, Firefox OS, and Sailfish are it but believe me when I say this- none of them are worth your time. I had all of them installed via MultiROM and they are all jokes. Sailfish is somewhat interesting but the other two are pretty much worthless compared to Android.

Porting Ubuntu seems to be fairly easy, once CM 10.1 is released I'll try porting Ubuntu. About Firefox OS I haven't had a brief look at it.

Firefox OS is built upon an Android layer, which means it is built with the actual android source code, so a port should be something trivial.
I think Ubuntu OS works in the same way.

EDIT: When I say android source code I mean the source for the device and the kernel, not the android os code itself.

cm is even more aosp than pa since pa uses cm as a base.

Uh no, absolutely incorrect. Both CM and PA build from their own code source. PA was based on CM ages ago, but no longer. PA is very much more AOSP that CM is at this point.
ill try building a GE edition rom, been meaning to try it out, hopefully i can get it done.
its kind of useless to get rid of the few extra cm additions. you can turn them off if you dont like them and have basically the exact same look as what you get on a nexus device.

Not sure if srs
Oneplus releases aosp ROM. Users ask for a port of aosp ROM?
Why not just use an aosp ROM we already have?

CM11 is CM11. Only difference is the device tree (drivers etc).. All functions are identical. As with most large development teams, they have one master branch with all teh core features then just device trees for each device to make the ROM work.
CM11s is slightly different though as it is only for the OnePlus and has some unique features. Porting a pre-built ROM is always more problematic than compiling one from code though
I asked the question but I already knew the answer.

Ah ok.
CM11 for G2 is the same as CM11 for N5
CM11s port for G2 (From OnePlus) is different to CM11 for N5

Hey guys, so I usually test out many Roms before settling or just keep going through them, but currently I am on Stock and since I am a little disappointed with the performance of Android Lollipop on the Nexus 5, I am looking for a Rom based on pure performance....any recommendations?
If you dont have anything useful to say, dont say it -_-
Euphoria OS beta 4 is nice. It doesn't have an XDA thread yet. Search Euphoria OS on Google, and goto Google+ communuty and search for link

Hello, do you know any good games that will run on this device? Running Lineage 14.1. Preferrably not freemium ones and paid ones are welcome too. Also, which N rom you think is the smoothest?
Thanks for replies!

Personally I thing Android Ice Cold Project is the smoothest but you may encounter a few bugs at the present builds (eg gps might not work). I don't know about games but if you want to play a heavy one you 'd better switch to kitkat. N roms leave less ram free so the game may lag.

I have not experimented much with kitkat roms but I think that Slimkat by Android-Andi is very fast. However you may experience some bugs (rotation was not working for me). That was solved by flashing an old device-specific build instead of the latest unified one as suggested by other users in Slimkat thread.
