Firstly, you don't need to use a toolkit, and you really shouldn't. Why? Because they're unreliable and can cause major problems. Because they allow you to do things to your device without actually knowing what's going on, you're just pushing buttons without an actual knowledge of what is happening when that button is pressed. You're much better off doing it manually, this is after all one of the easiest devices in the world to unlock and root. Plus, doing it manually using fastboot will give you some vital knowledge and experience with fastboot, and that's something that is absolutely crucial for anyone who's modifying their device, becuase when the crap hits the fan in future, it's that experience and knowledge that'll get you out of trouble, not a toolkit. I have a detailed guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2839471
It's very straight forward but if you have any problems or questions I'm more than happy to help.

USB debugging should always be on. It says your bootloader is unlocked so you're all good.

After you enabled USB debug and Unknown Sources, you also need to put it on Camera storage device in the Storage option settings. If you did that and it still didn't root, then try this rooting script instead: >New Root Method for ICS<. Good luck

That's really weird! Search the forum and the internet some more to see if there's anything special you have to do to get it working. You may even have to fxz again if you're not having any luck and try to root again.

seriously ?
What u mean seriously?
at the top of this forum main page, I can see at least 3 links regarding this subect, there are probably more in the "OnePlus One Help and Troubleshooting" section.
Did you even try to read the pinned posts ? Or even use the search tool ? How about Google ? : http://lmgtfy.com/?q=oneplus+one+how+to+root+xda
I had tried that but it didn't help me

then you should probably not even try to root your phone. I just used the search tools and I found the informations many times in the first results: http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=324284062
also:

I found too
I agree if one of the easiest phones on the planet to root is difficult for you then maybe you should sit this one out. Question - what have you done or tried to do that warrants an easier way. Also if you are going the toolkit route you will learn nothing and if a problem comes up -------- fuhget abowt it.... LOL
Ask questions in the questions forum. That said, check the pinned posts or search Google.

Using the SDK and ADB/Fastboot (in other words, using the computer command prompts) helps you learn the basic steps in modifying your phone. This basic knowledge will help you troubleshoot problems should they arise. At the very least, it will help you explain to someone in the forums what you have done so that they can try and help you.
The toolkits are essentially blind plug-in-and-go programs that tells you nothing about what you're really doing to the phone. They are easy to use, but hard to troubleshoot.
Anyways, using either method to unlock the bootloader would wipe your data. That's just how the bootloader unlock process typically works. Back up your SD card beforehand.
^^^ This, couldn't have said it better myself.
Transmitted via Bacon
15 second adb installer is an easy way to get adb drivers installed computer wide for yourself. Just an FYI so you don't have to copy paste file into that SDK folder and stuff.
Toolkits cause more trouble Cuz clearly you don't know what you're doing which is OK, just take time and learn the proper way instead

If he can't figure out how to root and flash his phone by following the guides, then he should not be doing it at all, let alone using a toolkit. If he uses a toolkit I guarantee the next thread he posts will be "Help! I bricked my phone and don't know what to do!"
@ohad123454- You have the easiest phone in the world to root and flash. Everything you need to know can be found here- http://forum.xda-developers.com/goo...urce-guides-info-threads-linked-read-t2784527
If you seriously can't accomplish what you want to do by following the guides in that thread, then maybe you should just keep your phone stock, unless you want to end up with an expensive paperweight. I'm not trying to be a **** here, but it seriously doesn't get any easier than with an N5. Call it tough love.
All that said, if you genuinely attempt following the guide and get stuck at a step, feel free to post here about where you're stuck and I'll be more than happy to help. But you gotta try to help yourself first.
We must have different youtube apps

Model:ZC520TL this the get var all command from fastboot mode

a dump of the var for reference i noticed boot is locked and not the same as others out there
The Zenfone 3 Max uses a Mediatek processor, which makes the chances of it getting any custom ROMs very slim.

Xperia Z5 died after software update. Please help.

Hi all,
Good day to you.
I had updated my software on my Xperia Z5 last night and after it had completed installing, the phone went 'dead'. I have tried holding both the power and volume up buttons and even holding the OFF button for 2 minutes but to no effect. Connected it to the charger and the LED keeps blinking red, whereas if I hold on to the power button, the LED is red constantly.
Thought I could repair it with Xperia Companion by connecting it to a laptop, but the laptop can't detect the phone as well.
I'm currently overseas and don't have a spare phone with me. Would really appreciate any kind of help. Thanks all!
try flash tool
Use Flashtool to flash a clean. ftf (LP, MM or Nougat) it should be detected by flashtool since it require a special manipulation to switch to flashmode, don't worry it should fix it easily

Thanks!
Make sure your phone is charged for at least 30 mins before doing so
Press and hold Volume Down then plugin to PC. Flashtool should detect it automatically.
If this doesn't work try locating this button and press for 3 seconds
