[IDEA] PDA Touchscreen as remote touchpad

hi!
i'm here to share with you a my idea for an app.
I know there is gremote but my idea is a little bit different...
in my idea the app as 2 installer, obviously, but the pc-side also install a virtual touchpad device, multitouch compatible (if is should be possible emulate a synaptics device we should can use their sw to manage gestures)
in this way we have a "full" multitouch touchpad
another feature is the possibility to rotate manually or with g-sensor the touchpad orientation.
what do you think about it? with our hd2 and a windows7 pc i think it should be awesome!
looking for that too ...

You just described GRemote Pro...
Pfffff...
Nope ...
we are talking about multitouch input here...
dont consider everybody but you is stupid , we are on a mature forum isnt it
something windows 7 can recognize as multitouch input for the os
to play with this
windows 7 touch pack:

gremote it's similar but different...
gremote doesn't support multitouch
gremote doesn't install a driver and delegates gestures to the OS but has it's own gesture...
so lonely ...
i think our only hope can be an update from gbmsoftware...
in deep space nobody hear you screaming ...
Still dreaming of this being developed... Would be so great to be able to use my phone as a touchpad for my computer while use my television as a computerscreen
If you are not looking for multitouch ,"Gremote" is perfect as secondary touchpad.

[Q] Control Accelerometer With Keyboard

Okay I haven't posted before.
And I know xda is rather strict with the rules so I've thoroughly searched for what I'm looking for and I really hope I'm posting in the right place.
Because I haven't found it and so I hope someone can help me out.
Recently I bought an external keyboard that connects via bluetooth to my Galaxy Note II N7100. I bought it because my school allows me to take notes on the device instead of hand writing everything.
But one day, I was in the library doing some homework and I got a little bored.
So I opened the '30th anniversary of pacman' game that Google once put on their page (if you don't know what I'm talking about, just Google "30th anniversary of Pacman Google").
To my surprise, the keys on the external keyboard were able to control my Pacman!
So this got me thinking.
What if I could control more than just Pacman with my keyboard?
Boost 2, for example?
So i was wondering, is there anyway I'd be able to control the accelerometer with my arrow keys?
And if so, can someone tell me how i would do this?
I've rooted my phablet and I'm able to decompile/recompile, navigate and edit files, etc.
I just need to know what exactly needs to be changed to allow such a feat.
So please, for the sake of procrastination...
Help?
Thanks in advance,
Josh.

[Completed] Kinect (1st Gen) Android Driver

Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you could push me in the right direction. I have an android mini PC with Jellybean on it that I want to connect with Kinect for speech recognition. Could any of you help me find a driver so that I may integrate it with a custom rom? Any help would be most appreciated.

Try these two threads:
[Q] Android and Kinect array microphone is a similar query. Unfortunately there are no answers in the thread at the moment, but doesn't hurt to ask in case the poster or someone else comes across it.
Android and Kinect has a bit more potential and additional search pointers at least.
Good luck!

[Completed] [Q] Tablet access via cell phone

Hi, I'm looking to be able to access remotely, long range not Bluetooth, my Ellipsis 8 tablet with my LG G4 cell or other pc and use the tablet as a monitoring and/or systems controller. Is there an app that will allow me to do this? Thx.
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist.
What you need is TeamViewer for Android. Here's a THREAD I found for it.
Any further assistance, just ask in that thread I linked.
Thank you!

[Completed] Mad Catz gamepad vs. Lenovo Yoga Tab

My Mad Catz C.T.R.L.R gamepad works perfectly with Nexus 4 (Android 5.1.1), but it works only in mouse mode with Lenovo Yoga Tab (first generation, B8000-F, Android Jelly Bean). It finds a cursor, the X button works as a click. In every mode the "Back" button works as well. So I guess the Bluetooth is actually OK. I don't know what isn't.
What can I do with the pad or with my tablet to make it work in the "Android-mode"? Any ideas why it works this way? Or what might be the reason? BT? HID? Android version?
Mad Catz support isn't responding... But I'm still waiting for them to help. If they do, I'll write the solution here myself.

Hello,and welcome to XDA!
I looked up the requirements for the C.T.R.L.r, (Android 3.0 or higher) and you are good to go (also, the Yoga comes with BT4.0 which is right). So there is either some weird compatibility issue between Mad Catz, or with Lenovo.
Unfortunately, resources for either are spare on this site, so I cannot link you to something that would provide a hint. I suggest reinstalling the app that (is supposed to) comes with it.
If that doesn't work, please register for an account and post in this thread:

Hope this helps, and good luck!
