how many Korean variants are out there
S - SK Telecom
K - KT Telekom
and now another
L - ???
amazing
ya, which carrier carries the L? Is it LG U+? If it is from what I know the U+ variant was the only one that wouldn't work in NA
Not sure about where you are though. I would do extensive research to see if you have the compatible bands where you live

Hi All,
I have a question regarding use of my HTC One XL in South Korea. I am currently working in Singapore and have been using LTE service (Singtel). I will be leaving to work in Korea shortly.
Now from the link in Wikipedia (....wiki/List_of_LTE_networks), i understand that Singtel and Korean LTE providers (KT, SK) use the same LTE band (Band 3, 1800 MHz). But it think there is more to eye then just same band.
Can any fellow XDAian kindly guide me if this same device will be compatible in Korean LTE providers?
I will be very thankful for your help and suggestions.
Good Day.

I cannot say much about LTE but I can confirm 3G and that they do carry the Evo which should have the same LTE frequencies.

For all the japanese Galaxy s4 owners and enthusiasts. Share problems, links, tips, you name it.
But be sure to still follow XDA Rules. =)

Curious about the 1970 Tapatalk bug? Read here.
Based on past experience with Galaxy S series in Japan:
Docomo only at launch 99% likely, maybe some bizarre au variant later.
Model name likely SC-07E/F if those models not already used.
Exynos variant, all FOMA/FOMA Plus/Xi bands. Maybe a few more for roaming
Dual-mode NFC-A/Felica (Felica SE on-board, NFC-A SE on the SIM card)
ISDB-T One-Seg, maybe Nottv.
which US model will work in Japan? or 9505?
Anyone out there using an S4 on Softbank? Will a US GSM model work on Softbank or Docomo or do we need to bring an 9505 model to Japan for use while visiting?
I accidentally bought an M-Horse GT-I9500 on eBay. It claimed to be an S4 Mini. It uses GSM 850/900/1800/1900. My carrier uses AWS 1700/2100. I know that some phones can have their modem software changed to use AWS. Can that be done with this phone?
Now is only available Wi Fi, but no 3G network - right?

No LTE network? - Seems the N900 is the popular one with non LTE carriers.- Also depends on Samsungs mood I reckon! haha
Depends on the market here in the Philippines we have the octa core and the SD edition..

We too in the Middle East have both the variants of the Note 3 (Exynos & Snapdragon). There is 4G LTE here but some areas are still on 3G, that's why Sammy has both models here.
I don't think the SD800 N3 will ever be available in India (Just look at S4) even though there is 4G in Bangalore. You could always import it from somwhere else like Qatar or Kuwait where there is no Region Lock on the N3.
