[Q] Stuck at Clockwork recovery after a failed update? - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
Version: 4.2.2
I tried to update to 4.4.4, but first i had to eh...get clockwork 6.1.1.0.
I was able to get it but at the moment i tried to instal kitkat 4.4.2 it gave me the following error:
set_metadata_recursive: some changes failed
E: Error in /sdcard/0/[zip file]
(Status 7)
Installation aborted

I tried with slimkat too but the exact error happened.
The tutorial i followed said i had to wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache partition and wipe dalvik cache.
Now every time i start the tab, it goes into clockwork recovery menu.
How can i fix it, and probably install 4.4.4 or 4.4.2?

[Q] Status 7. Installation aborted.

Hi,
I noticed one problem on my Nexus S and I desparatly need your help.
After installation of SlimBean Rom, it is not possible to install any other rom on my phone. It always reports Status 7, installation aborted ((
I´ve tried with MoKee rom, Cyanogenmod, etc and all roms reported the same error message (status 7). Then I switched to SlimBean rom and everything works perfectly.
Could you please explain me how to fix it as it was before?
I´m using the following flash procedure:
1. boot into ClockworkMod Recovery
2. Wipe data/factory reset
3. Wipe cache partition
4. Wipe Dalvik cache
5. install zip
Thanks a lot

Means you have the incorrect version of CWM to work for your Tablet. Depending on the partitions you need to use a different CWM version.
I found this link here on XDA that should help you and be the correct version make sure you follow all the directions to this post on how to flash it to your tablet.
[RECOVERY][GT-P51XX] Unofficial ClockworkMod Recovery 6.0.4.5 (Normal + Touch)

After Install of CWM Follow this:
========================
HOW TO FLASH PLEASE USE THIS ORDER TO MAKE SURE IT ALL GOES WELL.
Go to CWM or Recovery mode
Select Advanced
Select Wipe Dalvik Cache
Select Wipe Battery Stats (optional)
Go back to the previous menu
Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Select Wipe Cache Partition
Then Select Mounts and Storage
Select Format /System
Select Format /Cache
Select Format /Data
SHUTDOWN your tab and then go back to your bootloader mood for ODIN and reflash stock ROM again and see if that helps clean things up if it still gets stuck and you have stock recovery now just go to yoru recovery again and select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET & WIPE CACHE PARTITION and then reboot again.
Hope this helps.
