You might able to upgrade it via stock updater if there is update available for your tablet.
I have a nexus 7 2nd gen (2013) running jelly bean 4.3. I would like to duel boot the NEW version of UBUNTU touch (the real version that got released today). So how do i go about accomplishing this?

First be warned that the 2nd gen is not supported, only the WIFI. The instructions are on wiki ubuntu. I intend to dual boot my WIFI. I'm here to learn more about what I'm getting into with my 2nd gen.

hello, I have a Nook tablet (BNTV250) Android 2.3 (gingerbread), 16 GB, will the latest versions of Marshmellow and TWRP work on it, Since CM 12.1 is now considered obsolete? Would the instructions be the same as for the Nook HD & HD+?
