I just sold my HTC Legend on ebay.in & i am in market for a new android device. I don't care about HTC Sense or any other skinning of default android experience. I wish to keep a device which is regularly updated to latest version of android either by Google or by the wonderful developers here at xda.
Both of the devices available to me have already been upgraded to Android 2.2 Froyo (HTC Desire is upgraded to 2.2 with sense).
Which device is better one to buy ?
1.Google Nexus One running stock android 2.2 ?
or
2.HTC Desire running android 2.2 with sense ?
I am new to the android OS and I am getting a tablet. It is currently on the 2.1 OS and I would like to know how to get it to 2.3. It is a apad tr718d is there anyway to upgrade this to 2.2 or 2.3?
I have a android 2.2 tablet one of those cheap ones I think it is already rooted so how do I upgrade in to android 4.4 using a custom rom or cant I do it if so what rom do I use model number is imx51_bbg thats what is says in the about device area of the settings
some years ago I owned a motorola milestone.
on the Milestone the last official update was 2.2 (froyo), but the dev meneged to create a newer ver of android for this phone
even the BL was locked.
I own now a chines MTK phone - have 4.2 JB, there is a chance to create a newer verision of android to this phone?
